I too like farming behind Ellie’s and I’ve had some decent luck. Also, you can add the Nukem as well if farming the black queen.

I like the dust farming run, though mine usually goes:

  1. Behind Ellie’s Garage to Black Queen / Gettle / Mobley.

  2. Take a vehicle to Mick Zaford.

  3. Then hit up McNally because I really like the Hammer Buster.

Did this 3 times last night and got a Leg Cat mod, Maggie, Nukem, Leg Toast mod, and a Lyuda. Granted that’s the best night I’ve had in months of farming.

MOJO JO-JO sorry couldn’t resist, I have a question about tubbies are they guaranteed to drop legendaries or pearls?

Not guaranteed, no. The odds aren’t bad, but there’s a lot of stuff in their loot pool.

I’m asking because everytime I’ve killed one I got a legendary first 2 times was WTF’s from what I’ve read they have a high chance of dropping those, and just now in the badlands got a leg hoarder COM. Still waiting on my pearls though.

Pearls are a lot rarer than legendaries. You’ll also get relics and so on. Also, it’s not uncommon to get a run of similar drops - that’s just the RNG being (counter-intuitively) random. Good luck!

Don’t remind me about rng ugh but being an rpg lover I got to kind of expect drops to be frustrating:dukerage: are tubbies the best source for pearls?

Well, they’re a source, anyway. Always worth checking all the red chests along the way to/from tubby areas as well. That’s one of the reasons I like Frostburn Canyon - Scorch, Spycho, possible tubbies, and two easy red chests in one run.

I hate Frostburn mainly because of the confusing map, but the chests are you talking about the ones after the fire hawks lair and the one by the vault symbol?

So tubbies can drop the e-tech relics. I may just be over thinking this.

Well that’s new. I’ve killed a decent amount of tubbies in uvhm and never got one from them.

I think tubbies are the only source of the second set of pearls (Bekah, Wonderlust, Carnage, Godfinger). They also drop the other ones as well, quite often unfortunately.

The map’s not that bad once you figure out it’s basically a figure-8 with a bridge (like the old Scalextrik race car tracks!) My route: from the spawn, go left up to the camp and then down through the spiderants to Scorch. From there, go left and head up the metal stairs to Spycho. Once at the camp where Spycho spawns, there’s the red chest in the large “can” building behind the electric fence directly in front of you. If you go left from there through another spiderant area, you end up on the cliffs above the camp/cave entrance - the second red chest is along there. Check out the loot maps:

No. You see either Tubbies or Chubbies - forget which - from level 1 - 50 in vanilla game. To see the other version, you need the extra levels for UVHM (pack 1 51-61 and pack 2 62-72). Certain COMs and pearls were added with the second pack and ONLY drop at those levels.

Caustic Caverns is a great place to farm varkids. You can kite them from the first area (with the trucks) over to the first couple crystalisks, and then sit back and let the crystalisks do the heavy lifting for you. Varkids will take minor damage, evolve, repeat. Those that roll high enough will have a chance to come up tubby instead of UBA (I think?). BONUS: While you’re at it, there’s a chance to spawn Vermi! And there’s also a decent chance to get a Quasar out of the deal. Really excellent farm.
