Are still useless in Meltdown. I watch melee characters kill them in seconds taking no damage much less sniping. They need to prioritize better and lock on faster if not making them way harder to kill. Even the base ones do nothing. Please fix. I can easily walk around and shoot people near spawn as marquis because base turrets are garbage.
I’ve said it before, turrets need enough turn speed that you can’t just circle around them to take 0 damage while killing them. I can’t comment on whether they are strong enough or not because the damage they deal is no longer a factor until this is fixed. Buying them is an extremely short and ineffectual distraction unless the enemy is dumb enough not to target it.
You can tell how much damage they do based on the minion damage. The thumpers don’t even deal with the little guys. It is pretty pathetic. The turrets should be an obstacle and currently they are not.
Its hard to say. The turrets do help push the lane ( better than some heros even ). I don’t think the thumpers are suppose to do that much damage, i think they are mostly for the slows and AOE. They both 300Srd, so balance. Maybe they should make the lane ones traps instead of turrets.
The turrets aren’t supposed to be to beat a human player one on one or control a lane on their own they are there to harass enemies and make it easier for you to control a area, I think they are fine as they are right now.

Traps would be interesting if handled right and weren’t op, maybe a flash mine or similar.
I agree, turrets are my first target. They are so easy to destroy and barely have a function. In meltdown, I would like something extra beside turrets and accelerators or minions. Something to shake things up like an airstrike or traps like mentioned above. Something that makes it somewhat less predictable…
