Same issue here, elpresador. I have access to sanctuary. I’m on the 2nd planet in TVHM. No mayhem mode stand. Definitely ridiculously easy and I was looking forward to playing TVHM story mode with mayhem on. Really disappointing.

MadCuzBad, if you’re saying we have to have access to sanctuary then you’re wrong. If you’re saying we need to pass a certain point in the story, well then what point of the story? (you can say planet 3, 4, 5 to be spoiler free)

I didnt realize this was a bug right away. But yea it is definitely disappointing. Guess I will play on toons til it is fixed

Alright so I got two pictures here to show you that once you enter TVHM you do get the mayhem option.
And as you can see I have only just started on Eden-6, and yes I did have to activate the mayhem mode once I actually got inside sanctuary.

No I got to Sanct and there it was, I only needed to unlock sanctuary.

so then it’s a bug. some people have it and some don’t. I’ve gotten on sanctuary and I don’t have it.

I just wanted to chime in and say mayhem mode was available for me as soon as I got into sanctuary on TVHM. Not sure why it’s not there for everyone.

Same as OP Mayham Mode is NOT available for me in TVHM, Story wise I am on Eden-6, so I should have LOOONG unlocked it. The little podests to choose em are NOT on Sanctuary.

This seems to be inconsistent among Players there is already some reddit threads about it too.

Majority of players can choose mayham in tvhm right as soon as they get on sanctuary, minority such as me and OP do not get that option as the console to choose a mayham mode is just missing.

Hope this will be fixed soon, or atleast hope it will be unlocked once I finish tvhm main story and its not broken completely…

Thank you for acknowledging the issue. It’s not widespread so many are ignorant to it. I’m going to finish tvhm soon. Basically running through it as much as possible because it’s boring when. Everything drops to whites and greens. Hopefully the option comes back at the end

Ok just finished tvhm and you do get mayhem back. I’m not sure if the bug is to keep you from getting mayhem til the end of the playthrough or the bug is that you keep mayhem mode going into tvhm at the sanctuary hub. To all of those who think they know everything this is my findings

That sucks you had to go all the way through it to get mayhem back. Did you try right away once you got on Sanctuary 3 to enable it?

Just remember that the game is brand new, so we’re all just reporting what has happened to our playthrough.

As I said before I guess from the new info I found my game is not bugged and those who have mayhem before the end of tvhm are bugged. And yes I did check once on sanctuary throughout the playthrough and it was never there. For those who do have it before the end be happy that you do. Otherwise tvhm is a snorefest slog to go through

Idk about you guys but I went into tvhm right after I unlocked it and I was about a 33- 34 and I got wrecked 20+ times just working on first couple story missions and yes I could still kill them ok enough but when you get a badass on one side an anoited on the other and it takes less then a clip for other enemies but 10+ just to kill one of them you can’t do much but mine also maybe bugged and I don’t know it yet

Dang did you do any side missions playthrough one lol? I was like level 40 at the end of normal and I only did half of them

I did some I may have been a little higher level but I went back to my regular playthrough and turned on mayham mode and did some challenges and stuff got to level 40 went back with better guns and such it helped but not against anotied or badass foes they still rip me apart unless I hop in iron bear and guy shot them with my mini guns and hell still takes like five mins to take just one down with iron bear and me going at them I feel they may be bugged or just overpowered

Honestly I suggest playing mayhem in normal mode til level 50 and getting some gear then trying tvhm. I didnt have the bug so I couldnt go mayhem during tvhm and cheesed all the way through it

Ya I haven’t made it to sanctuary for the second time yet to see if it is bugged or not I was just going to do tvhm then mess with mayham after that witch would make sense make it an one time unlock and then upgrade it through tvhm and for people who fond it easy could have turned in on instantly and got there challenge and others can wait for it till they are ready
