Unofficial Community Patch Thread

Oh I know the issue already
It was just a part of code left unchanged

It was changed to a Vladof Barrel in the previous patch
Except that it did not spin in 2.0
Thats fixed now

Evil will be smashed.

That Blood Euphoria skill looks interesting. But, I’m unclear on something. How does it work with multiple kill skills deactivating simultaneously? Does the effect stack for each skill that deactivates, or is it one trigger regardless of how many kill skills deactivate?

I believe all kill skills have the same duration, so there shouldn’t be instances where you have skills deactivating at different times.

So, is it meant to heal after a fight, or in between kills? And, would one kill skill be enough to get the full effect of the skill?

Whenever any Kill Skill ends, you heal. That’s basically it.[quote=ā€œmetaknight987, post:893, topic:1557735ā€]

Yeah, but it’s better to have multiple Kill Skills to heal multiple times since they don’t activate at the same time. If you have Blood Bath and Fuel the Blood (and they’re both active), you’ll heal twice because two Kill Skills ended.

Oh no with Krieg theres definitely gonna be killskills ending at different times

Due to Blood Bath/Fuel the Blood/Blood Overdrive

(mispost… will repost when the text is edited)

??? …I disagree…maybe you are seeing something I am not…

He buffed Gemini for an additional 30% Damage

and

Resourceful will still get a full 25% Cooldown in addition…to the 50% from the Engineer

And Crisis Management will still get it’s usual 4-5 points as you pass down the tree to Gemini.

So it really has zero negative effect on the classic 26-15-26 Double Up/Gemini build from what I can tell…excxept the Turrets are much stronger…sooooo better. At least to me

What he has done…at least to me…is make Nuke and Ranger attractive options INSTEAD of Gemini…which they weren’t before. And Resourceful was unused if you went down the Gunpowder tree.

Plus…I initially thought Crisis Management was a good skill…but when I thoroughly tested it…the gun damage boosts kick in soooooo sparsely (especially with a low delay shields (like a 2.0 Blockade) that it was virtually useless. The addition of damage resistance makes it relevant once again…AND it really fits logically in the Survival Tree.

I did a run through Southpaw using only the Turrets and two grenade mods. The turrets have the potential to do a serious amount of damage if they focus their fire on a single target. They were killing Iron Clad Psychos and Badass Psychos very fast.

What is sad is the Engineer Com itself is so little used because of the SINGLE passive of Cooldown only. It NEEDS another passive…maybe two…to compete and make it just plain WONDERFUL for the two Turret build.

I’d personally add Shield Cap or Shield Recharge Rate
Or
Additional Turret Damage

Now THAT is a mod that is PERFECT for the two turret junkies!

Maybe I will do on add on modā€¦ā€œThe better Legendary Engineerā€

Or turret duration would work.

yup…but I don’t know how to do that one…LOL

Maybe @the_Nocturni knows

The good thing about the Legendary Engineer is Battlefront. And the cooldown to manage it better, of course.

Here’s the grenade and turret run I did earlier.

You know what I really like about all the Axton changes…well…at least one of my favorites…

I have bitched for years about the lack of an Explosive BoA…and how it is a disadvantage for an explosive based character.

Well… @shadowevil1996 @adudney @the_Nocturni addressed that by:

  1. Moving Resourceful to a logical and easy to get to location in the Survival Tree
  2. Giving Ranger 2% per point
  3. Giving a 20% Cooldown bonus to Nuke
  4. And at the same time buffing Nuke and making it EVEN MORE attractive with the additional buffs

So…in one fell swoop…they have totally counterbalanced Axton’s lack of an Explosive Bone Relic AND made going down the tree to Ranger and Nuke a TOTALLY viable option…

Which it just wasn’t before…at least in my book…

More variety of builds and options…LOVE IT!!

Did you ever alter Death Mark? I see text modifying it, but don’t see it mentioned in the notes for any of the patches?

edit - or Vel0city?

2nd edit - anyone take Captain Blade’s Manly Man shield for a spin? How is it hitting for you?

Manly Man shield does 8500k against slagged targets with a explosive relic
With Axton and Scorched Earth taken(on op8 ofc)

It doesnt scale with melee damage btw
So imo its something to finish a weak enemy off
Rather than melee an enemy to death

The explosive immunity is great with weapons like Bearcat/Boom Puppy/Bonus Package/etc.

Bew_ has some videos with it

Youd still want to be careful against DoTs tho
Or take Forbearance/Asbestos

Edit: vel0city and deathmark was not modified by community patch
However it is included in the patch file, since the patch file contains all base game hotfixes

Edit 2: right now there is a bug with the Manly Man Shield where if you melee crit with it
Instead of doing double the body damage
It will actually do the damage it used to do before patch

For a fix pm me
Or i left it as a comment in one of Bew’s video where he tests the Manly Man Shield so look there I suppose

I wonder if I can speed up Gaige’s With Claws as I think it’s rather slow… I have been searching for a value to modify and found it. The original value was -1 and when I increased it, the attack got slower. However when I decreased it, the attack speed stays the same. Anyone knows why?
