Unofficial Community Patch Thread

No exactly. One thing Axton can do fairly well that Gaige can’t is health Stack. Also none of Axton skills are counter intuitive like Gaige’s. Quick Charge is an awesome kill skill that gets boosted by a lot of different class mods, and gives you some serious shield regen. Quick Charge, Willing, Preparation, Healthy and even Able all have great synergy with each other making Axton a survival beast in some situations. Unstoppable Force and Blood Soaked Shields contradict each other, and Fancy Mathematics is health dependent where Willing is not. Also Blood Soaked Shields is essentially a kill skill with an unnecessary penalty. Gaige doesn’t have any passive health regen, which either greatly effects the different gear she can use. I’m just saying that the unnecessary stipulations and penalties for he different skills are unnecessary

I will agree Gaige isn’t at all a bad character, she just needs some help to make more build and load out diversity.

8 Man Digipeak with infinite looping black queen spawning more black queens? Sounds like an idea.

Wow this video is hilarious! This mod is crazy as hell. Who’s OP now?! This is what we call a gamebang!

In order to avoid a repeat of 3.0’s bug shenanigans and such, we’ve been pretty thoroughly play-testing the patch, hence why it isn’t out yet. But it is (most likely) coming soon, as a majority of the things we were testing for have been tested.

Just to be sure, I need to exec Patch.txt every time I launch the game, right? And what are the rules for multiplayer, do we all need to exec Patch.txt with the same settings or does it only matter what the host does? Thanks!

Exec it every time, yes. For safety, have everyone activate it.

From my experience…it usually follows host but if you want to ENSURE exact same experience with all players…ensure they all load the patch and that it is EXACTLY the same patch…not a user modified version.

The filter tool settings on the host will normally supersede all in most instances…but there are some weird happenings on occasions.

Thanks for the Patch 4.0, but I’ve an issue with the new patch: Stomper’s barrel is missing.

It’s been a long time that I didn’t play BL2 and I don’t recall adding any mods that affect the Stomper.

We fixed it yesterday, turns out I goofed a typo in the barrel. We also fixed the Infinity’s spread and some other things in the mean time.

So many things, thanks to everyone who contributes to this!

… the Bunny … removed the Self Damage.

Bunch of pansies

Made the Naught an optional replacement (can be enabled with the Filter Tool).

I basically gave the Naught stats to the Cracked Sash to make it actually unique, instead of just being a decent Tediore shield with no apparent reason for being unique.

Removed the Self Damage of the Cradle, made the shield toss faster and set the Shield Recharge Delay to a fixed 0.86 seconds.

Is the damage buffed, or did I miss that? If it hits like an Asteroid Belt, even without the aggressive homing, now we’re talking.

Buffed the Pot o’ Gold. Has a chance to drop Eridium now and a very rare chance to drop an Eridium Stack.

Oh cool! I’m still not sure how many people will wear it into combat (as opposed to letting some enemy give them low-level DoT to siphon off some Eridium), but I like it.

Buffed Captain Blade’s Midnight Star’s damage by 200% and increased its Blast Radius by 68.75%.

You ain’t got the balls. Now it’s the curse of the cackling modder (or did you remove the self damage in some earlier patch)?

Made the projectiles of E-Tech Spikers and the Dahlminator detonate instantly.

I’m extremely interested in this because I want their detonations to last longer for the way I use these, and when I get around to finding the timing variable, I can just alter it. I might double the stock value? We’ll see.

Buffed the Logan’s Gun.

You’re all crazy… maybe it’s got some synergy with Maya that makes it hit harder than others, but I seriously keep this in the bank as my high-end weapon.

The Torrent returns as an optional replacement for the Emperor (can be enabled with the Filter Tool).

Yeah, I never let that go; this was the impetus for me to figure out how to manually maintain the patch file.

Double Up: Increased the Turret Slag Chance by 50%.

Oh weird, it wasn’t 100% before? I’ll take it.

Overload: Now also boosts Ammo Carrying Capacity by 3% per point.

Man, you guys are really trying to get me to put points in that skill

0ne Sh0t 0ne Kill: Now appears in the buff bar.

Thanks… I always wondered why that wasn’t down there.

The patches have been updated to 4.0.6 so far, fixing multiple issues like the Stomper having a missing barrel or the Infinity’s spread pattern not being reduced. The crew’s working on resolving issues with skins and such, BL2 can be very weird at times.

I don’t know if it’s the 4.0 patch or what is happening, but for some reason, my friend and I are getting heads and skins for the wrong class. Ex. I made a new siren and the head and skin I spawned with were for the gunzerker. While paying my mechromancer, I was getting psycho head and skins.

Like I said, the crew is working on that skin/head issue as we speak.

Also, the Buffalo, Elephant Gun, Pocket Rocket, and Bone Shredder should be getting tweaked in the next mini-update. Buffalo had a typo that caused it to have way more damage and crit damage than intended. Elephant Gun was given some extra crit damage, Bone Shredder was nerfed slightly more so it wasn’t better than a Tattler, and Pocket Rocket’s changes now actually apply (along with a boost in bullet speed).
