Huh. I get it, but I think it’s very…weird.

The irony is this is why I love ShockSploder Mind Sweeper. The shock tears up the shields and the minis burn the flesh.

Interesting topic, thanks for all the testing! I’m currently searching for a reliable way to get my shields back up, as my MIRV Hex simply can’t handle the job anymore after the nerf. Tried Stormfront with a Transformator, but the results were almost non-existant (guess due to Bloodletter and Deathless as has been explaind above). Currently using a Cloning Ghast Call, which seems O.K., but not great. Now I will try out Moxxis Bouncing Pair as it combines Tranfusion and Generator effects. Thanks again for the insights on Transfusion effectiveness, will be interesting to see, whether the Pair can outperform the Ghast Call.

I’ve heard good things about the Nagata, although haven’t tried it myself.

Hmm, I absolutely hate Longbow grenades, as they miss half of the time due to enemies jumping aside…

I’ll take the range of longbow over anything else any day.

For bosses, I’d invest in a good Cluster F*ck grenade. Chuck two and see how it goes. For mobbing I run singularity grenades. It keeps enemies in one place so I can splash them, and also makes for easier ups to the Vampyr percentage.

Rain parts ruin singularities though. With a rain part, it drags the gravity field upwards, leading to 100 meter punts of mali…wans…

Hmm, I just remembered, that one of my mules should still have a rad hopping MIRV grenade on them. Splits into 3 MIRVs on impact, hops three times and each hop drops another three MIRVs. Stored it away after several suicides in close proximity, might come in handy now

…I kinda want that on my Zane.

I swear, epic grenades are loads better than most legendary grenades. Just the way parts can interact.

Anyways, I’ll try to test shock on breaking shields later. I…I just gotta figure out how. All my characters get bonus elements. Oh. Amara on Shockra should be flat enough.

OH! So wait. Is KataZer0 really really low health?

I haven’t tested properly but from the dozen or so times I’ve killed him he seems to be low health and shields.

Just got this image

From 3 minutes worth of testing I managed to reproduce your observations.

Thanks for confirming. I think mine has a double generator roll and longbow. If I wasn’t having said issue, it would be BiS for my non Vampyr BM build.

Agreed, as is though I think I favour pure Transfusion nades.

I can’t find one that does enough damage. And 30% of said damage isn’t enough as I don’t run MoD to keep resupplying them. So I can’t spam them.

In my current set up the Big Boom Blaster looks after itself and I use this to keep myself above health gate.

Though I’m not sure there’s any config that would be good enough for a Bloodletter build.

I have a Front loader with turtle that gives me 14k base capacity. At rest I’m at 45k shield. I really don’t go do much, but just always looking for better options. My first BBB I tossed way before the QoL patch, because I’ve never enjoyed those type of shields. My current one has a really low capacity, like 5-6k 4k low. So I don’t always run it.

I’m running a 5k BBB and with 2 TRL and Tenacious Defense I find I can keep it active ~95% of the time. That protects my health and a single nade is seemingly always enough to get me the 3500 is health required to get above health gate by which point the BBB has kicked in again.

I use a WTF and mostly just use FFYL to get me back up… Vampyr is just to keep me alive longer to make sure the timer doesn’t become instant :joy:

To be fair. I do use a Transformer for most bosses. And an Alchemist. The exception is the Traunts.

Glass Cannon Life!

I steer away from self shock n just pay attention to whats hitting me with it, and keeping them alive till im done the group. If it gets the same status as the bl 2 tranformer someday; itll be swapped out for a backham from a mule. But still, between 14 and 20 explosions from 1 grenade seems to be enough to refill the whole 40 k

Oh. I never purposely self shock (Alchemist excluded), because Fire in the Skag den at 6-8 points (depending on my COM) means self shock also means self burns. And I’ve not committed to an ElProse Mose. Though then I’d be pure glass cannon. My best healing during a boss was cluster f*cks at Tyreen. I think they might not have worked during her Immune phases though.
