So compared to the last 2 borderlands i have noticed a big decrease in the amount of vending machines present. Is anybody else kind of irritated with this? I know i am considering im always having to drop loot because my pack(currently holds 31) is full. They went from being present in almost every new area to barely there and you have tk fast travel just to empty your bag thus causing you to have to run back to where you were, fighting enemies along the way again and possibly refilling your pack again. Its just annoying and i miss vending machines being more common.

They definitely seemed to be more common in prior games. I’ve made it habit to stop and sell/refill ammo everytime I see one now too because of it. Wouldnt say I’m irritated by it though it just made me be more mi dful when they are around.

Vending machines are way more common in previous games but at the same time now you can buy the ammo expansion with credits and not eridium.

My advise to you would be to spend more money on those…
i never had a real problem with the ammo in this game

Despite the lower number of vending machines, the new fast travel mechanic means that selling all your excess items is way faster than in older BL games - as long as you’re on a map that allows vehicles (fast travel to vending machine, sell, fast travel back to your car). However, on maps that don’t - such as Skywell 27 -, it’s indeed quite painful to go through one or even two hours of playtime without seeing a single vendor.

The first few maps and normal amount of vendor machines. Once I hit Athena and got one in the beginning was annoying and nothing around the boss. So far in SkyWell I have not found anything. I find more malwin/red chest than single vending machine. Make me feel great amount of items but no vendors to keep money flow to a trickle. Like someone forgot to add them to the game.
