VH1 v VH2 v VH3: Who would win?

Moze in a 2v1.

Amara 2v1, no eridium usage. Lillith and Amara would be a stalemate fight with eridium, Maya cloud kill off them both.

Mordecai no contest.

Zero would Bore Zane to death.

KRIEG WOULD KILL EVERYONE

Claptrap.

I’ll be using knockout 1v1 all combinations for comparison
This also assumes that all skill trees are unlocked, and gear from their respective games are available to them

Roland vs Axton vs Moze
Probably moze because of her infinite grenades and the durability while in iron bear. Unless of course, Axtons Grit procs multiple times – which is still probabilistic, so moze on the whole.

Lilith vs Maya vs Amara
Hard to say. Lilith has the advantage of temporary invulnerability, but Maya can counter that with her legendary binder build by using it on Lilith (it may work even in phasewalk since it’s not about doing damage) or on Amara and simply wait out her invulnerability. Amara has more strength but both other sirens have ways of matching her speed and may be able to evade her melee. I’d say Maya, given she has the most hax of powers with her mind control (and binder causes other enemies to aggro the bindee).

Mordecai vs Zer0 vs Fl4k snipers
The dude that becomes invisible and can see the other invisibles when it comes to an aiming match – so Zer0. That’s not even going into the fact that Zer0 is the highest DPS sniper among them (and highest DPS char in Bl2 outside of glitches), and a consummate sniper in lore.

Zer0 vs Zane
Zer0 is the highest DPS character in his game and Zane is the lowest DPS character in his. Zer0 also beats Zane in effective range, and also in close combat capacity.

Brick vs Krieg vs Amara
This is a difficult one  Krieg has more exotic capabilities but it requires a kill to activate and I don’t know if that’s possible against Amara or m************ Brick. Probably a tie where the universe explodes.

Giage and Salvador will win against most others, and outside of glitches, in a duel has the advantage of autoaim. As for Salvador, well he’s Salvador

I dunno about the individual matchups but imo the most dangerous characters in combat would be in order:

Fragtrap technically had the tools to deal with any threat imaginable(including stairs!).

Krieg literally can’t be put down.

Athena has some of the highest dps output of any character yet via Maelstrom (she has some of the best looking effects too!)

Gaige. If she is given time to pre-stack her anarchy has tons of damage and lots of tools as well(assuming the skills in LBT actually worked well, even tho they don’t).

There’s dialogue in the game (if you keep talking to Mordecai) about him beating Zero in a sniping contest/bet, if that helps.

If we’re talking real pvp:

Every stealth class always wins.
Press stealth - 1 hit kill anything.

No clue why this is still in the game its kinda silly.

Is there? Dang I must’ve missed this.

Either way, people lose in various stupid ways in borderlands (just see any bl3 cutscenes fights), but in a competent versus, I just don’t see the invisible guy losing a sniping match

As much as I see Amara’s/Maya’s name tossed around, I dunno if any of yall remember duelling in BL2 but Maya can insta kill anyone with phaselock and Lilith’s not so secret 880% corrosive melee punch? So how this would go down? I think: Lilith enters phasewalk, Amara and Maya cast phase at same time. Phaselock insta-kills Amara, Lilith exits phase walks using Strike/Radiance/Dramatic Entrance instantly killing Maya.

Winner ‘sadly’ Lilith.
(I think she could insta-kill Amara as well, even chasing her speed for speed)

How do you think it would go if Maya decided to use her thoughtlock skill instead of phaselock?

Since this is a CC skill, I think she can take the win if she uses this one instead of phaselock and uses the advantage to create distance between herself and the others. Thoughts?

Well you have an instant kill vs getting a “dumb ally”. She would couldn’t really distance herself with thought lock because she would need to try to kill the ally before it wears off. That could put her in more of a predicament because she can only use it once on that person.

It wouldn’t be dumb ally - here it would be one of Lilith or Amara both of which are valuable distractions.

Especially, the fact that binder doesn’t just mind control the target, it causes other enemies to aggro the target too – this is why it’s CC. With only three people, this disables both of them.

All the powers are oneshot against the vault hunters – they do too much damage and have little health. Even single melee strikes.

NOTE: Thoughtlock has a good chance of working on Lilith even in her invulnerability – she won’t take damage, but has no resistance to mind control.

Look at it from this side too:

If Lilith is thought locked, she could still kill Amara and be near invulnerable for Maya to try and continue damaging beforethought lock wore off. Then she can not cast again anyway.

If she thoughtlocks Amara, Lilith could still Kill Maya since Amara can’t see her anyway, and still have her near invulnerable period for Amara.

Lilith is OP on her siren abilities if you ask me vs what the others have. It is like an instant kill fade away with a near invulnerable phase after and a faster recharge time.

If Lilith is thoughtlocked, she kills Amara – but in this time Maya has created the necessary distance between herself and Lilith.

Liliths powers will wear off before closing the distance, and Maya is extremely efficient with snipers.

Liliths powers are op, but it’s short range means that it cannot engage an opponent with higher effective range – which Maya can exploit with Thoughtlock.

Also her recharge times are only lower if she can maintains kill skills – she can’t here, and without those, Maya’s skill have the fastest recharge time.

She has Hard to Get Skill which reduces cooldown by 16 seconds plus can get additional 30% reduction and that is without kill skills.

Mayas best best bet (in my opinion) on the two would be if Lilith went after Amara and Maya was 1st to scorn(if no ruin), phaselock(ruin), converge and cloud kill that way.

Liliths cool down after all the skills is still something like 15 seconds without kill skill activation (which doesn’t work here) and this is similar to Maya’s.

We are also assuming that they will start in a range where Lilith is immediately effective – if they start slightly farther away, say 100m, Maya outranges both opponents.

And Maya can force Lilith to go after Amara with Thoughtlock. She doesn’t need to scorn or anything at all, a single shot with a sniper when Lilith isn’t invulnerable will win this for Maya – and after Thoughtlock ends, Lilith won’t be invulnerable.

Remember she can always phasewalk prior to start of dual (which a lot of people did) and would be the hardest to thoughtlock between her an Amara. (hence why i think she would take maya out 1st as she would be her biggest threat)

All good because there will never be a right answer

I thought prep wasn’t allowed, because with prep, Maya simply use the flying banshee mod to create the necessary distance (and then some) to engaging – of the three she is the only one that is efficient at range.

Yeah it’s all good  I was just enjoying the discussion. Borderlands builds are fun to put against each other!

Or just have Maya tag into Recompense with a Warder mod and let Lilith 1 hit kill them both for the Amara win! Either way we agree, Amara maybe good in BL3 but can’t hold a stick to the other sirens :beers:

Oohh I completely forgot about that busted recompense with warder! Haha yeah, cheers!

Tyreen 》 Lileth
Troy 》 Maya
Amara 》 Both.
