In all parts of the game Borderlands (1/2/Pre sequal) I’ve bumped into this problem. How to fix this problem?
Notebook: Acer Aspire 5735z
Videocard: Ati Radeon HD 4500 Mobility
OS: Windows 10
The drivers is the freshest (13.1 Catalyst) (I’va tried another one, reinstalled, tried do it on 7/8 windows - same problem). Directx I also updated.

That may be the indication of a failing VLIW unit on your Mobility chip (is this problem occurring on other games?), a overheating problem (clean your laptop’s cooling vents; you may want to check the thermal pads on the heatpipes, but that requires you take your laptop apart). If you reinstalled the OS, it’s probably not a busted driver profile for the game.
Considering your machine’s age, a failing heat transfer (thermal pad) is the most likely cause.
