Number of legendary weapons (not counting DLC 2):

Atlas - 5
CoV - 8
DAHL - 21
Hyperion - 18
Jakobs - 24
Maliwan - 25
Tediore - 11
Torgue - 26
Vladof - 12

I think it’s just because Vladof doesn’t make weapons which use the shotgun or SMG ammo pools.

Vladof makes great weapons. The following have all been “meta” weapons at some point:

  • ION CANNON
  • Lucian’s Call
  • Lyuda
  • Sickle
  • The Dictator

Maybe some of these are no longer “meta,” but that changes over time, and what’s good today might not be tomorrow (and vice versa).

tbh, the shotgun ammo pool is the reason, i am not using certain weapons

Well the Sickle is an AR, so ammo isnt a problem lol

Faisor, Dictator, Sickle, Lucian call (which is pretty okay with certain build/annointement), shredifier (with right annointement) even the Lyuda (even if I never managed to make this weapon work) …

Vladoff is far from being the worst manufacturer, look at Atlas and Tediore if you want a huge disapointement

Tediore got a huge buff with the Anarchy shotgun! Totally agree about Atlas though.

“Huge buff” : They made 1 weapon that is sickly overpowered and as the same time a real pain to use (Yeah, I one shot everything but only after i’ve spend 1 minute shooting at a wall, and then if I die I have to restack again)

i still stand with it… the infinity (anointed) is the best weapon in the game (allways has been haha)

never run out of bullets, with fire rate increase it’s an absolute beast and with the right anointed it absolutely shreds everything :smiley:

on zane i’m using a normal infinity with increased fire rate and 100% cryo anointed… as long as there’s stuff to shoot my killskills (through mod) and skills never go down :slight_smile:

Yeah I’m with you, a good infinity with sntnl cryo100 is my go to, the dps is great because no time reloading when bullets aren’t firing, and paired with electric banjo it’s great for procing lightning chains.

Except it’s not in any top gear lists as far as I’m aware, and there’s a reason for that… There are better options.

With the newest DLC, Dahl, Tediore, Maliwan, and Jakobs all got great weapons… CoV for a couple okay ones, but the manufacturer as a while gas a gimmick that limits it’s potential regardless. I don’t think Vladof got any Legendaries, at least as far as I’ve seen on 1.5 runs through it. As someone mentioned above, reverting, it at least softening the nerfs to Lyuda and ION Cannon would be a start. ION Cannon only gets used in 0 ammo build/as a FFYL weapon anymore. Lyuda is pretty much never used it top builds anymore.

I get this attitude and tbh I tend to run just OK builds or good ones but ones I like but meta builds are always great to have when you just want a quick farm they have thier place and tbh my fave fl4k build is fade meta as I like snipers alot and its one of the few builds that allows it mind you I tend to swap out meta weapons most of the time to use what I want purple Dahl snipers tank man’s shield and so on so meta build but non meta weapons lol

I don’t understand your fetish with the infinity.

While it’s okay-ish for some build and the right annointement, you can do so much better with pretty much most weapon in the game, and even some purple considering the “infinity” shooting pattern make it worse at scoring crits.

Especially considering Zane kill skill build have massive reload speed bonus, meaning reloading is not a massive DPS loss.

Vladof isn’t in a bad place, most of their Legendaries are good and quite a few are Top Gear material.

Jakobs is better, but I don’t think any company compares to Jakobs in terms of Legendaries.

I loved Jakobs in 2 (and TPS) actually. Still one of the better companies with a true Wild West feel.

Jakobs in BL3 is better than they have ever been but they really went too far with those filthy, sacrilegious elemental and fully automatic guns. :laughing:

lol funny thing is the companion is one of my favourite guns as its basicly the closest thing to an old cowboy revolver same thing goes for greed from b2 both elemental but I wanna be a cowboy so hell yeah lol
