Multiverse is a dangerous place. We checked. There is nothing interesting, except infinite agony. All gateways must be locked for good.

I must keep on the story in the context of single linear MOST BADASS cycle of sci-fi Mordecai, no matter which continuity defilevelopers from GBX will choose for BL3.
However it doesn’t mean bitches that chronology of narrative in this thread will become less chaotic!

My little Mordecai: championship is magic.

long story short, I needed to reify teenage version of Mordecai for a little flashback in graphic novel, I described this ruthless arena hustler like “evil twin of sport games dealer from TV show about the dog who likes classic books” dressed up like “larva of typical Epicmegagames character” with elements of “ethno-punk” style and my favorite old sneakers, and here he is - está mi campeón!

Before becoming a freak we know on wild wastelands of margin of the universe, this dark horse with an old revolver and team of other gone rogue kids has kicked everyone’s аss not only in sharpshooting competition. Of course, flawless victory of such exotic would be not beneficial to representatives of stinking corporations…

In a distant time separated by thousands of years of outer space travel, where Mordecai is already not so young, red-haired lady named Gaige(who likes stroggification porn) volunteered for slave labor on his scythid ranch just to hear some of those tournament stories about people who were dancing instead of looking only at numbers in inventory. Of course, the most exciting for her will be the one about duel with Ga’Gorib. One careless move could leave Mordecai without right eye and with crushed upper limb on the side, so he would have to wear ugly cyber prosthesis like on early concept arts for Borderlands 1, but the hunter turned out to be cunning enough to save all his soft human body parts and defeat the beast with a single bullet.

Tiny Mordecai’s teammate and a good friend Rahu abandoned his clan to beat at organized human arenas long before it became mainstream, because according to his insectoid-reptiloid-pacifist logic “it is much more kosher when the prey can remember how its life was taken multiple times”.

Actually I was going to tell a new joke from series “the funniest joke I’ve ever heard” (yeah, that very series with old classic joke about a severed head that flies around in Hell)

Actually it’s not quite a joke, It’s kinda technical sort of humor.

This picture was causing very strange sensations, not comparable to uncanny valley or something bad, nevertheless I could not understand at all what is happening to my mind when I feel something like that.
And then when I recalled that example with Tony from MCU, I realized that when a character who we accustomed to see adult is needed to be rejuvenated in story to that age when the skull is not yet fully formed and this character being based on his adult actor who was also at that stage a while ago but it was slight different and you also remember it… and yet you just do something with the textures of usual version we accustomed to see adult and, daym, this is really weird! So weird that causes unrestrained fun!


Mord is my favourite character by far so I’m supper impressed with your artwork.

Although it is quite simple to track them all (according to Klopotinsha who writes this) since all my notes obey single narration, I place here links for decency.

Turned out that it is not quite possible to explain the theme of the thread to «Handsome Jack VIP tour from the fourth episode of TftBL», so firstly I had to defend the thread from mobbing, I was even banned for a few days and have lost «community buttass» title.

Borderlands 3: Time for a nice, relaxing ride.

and made a special thread for it, lot of conceptual stuff to discuss!

Klopotinsha presents the homage on scene from Denis Villeneuve’s film Sicario, adapted for setting of satirical cosmic sci-fi western videogame Borderlands.

‘Don’t forget about The Doorbell’ (“The Doorbell” is probably another Eridian artifact)

The idea of such badass combo came to me because «the final boss» of original Sicario, Faust Alarcon, and main protagonist of True Borderlands, Mordecai Neverdying (do not confuse with shoddy Mor-decoy from BL2), were performed by the same ultra-amazing actor, the one and only Julio Cesar Cedillo.

The adaptation required some changes in the plot:

I don’t think that Mordecai would throw a deaf girl into a vat of acid; he’d rather shoot the barrel next to her.

And Borderlands version of Alejandro, besides The Lawyer-Childkiller, should contain details from other Benicio Del Toro’s characters like The Collector from MCU and The Thief from Star Wars. This mercenary is probably working for someone like Mr. Blake, and came to steal Mordecai’s rare pets and Eridian artifacts.

Of course, the son of Bloodwing, Talon, won’t let anyone distract Mordecai from his meal.

By the way, this Alejandro can stay alive after this scene like the one from truly awesome comedy sequel «Wannabe Sicario» (Sicario 2: Soldado), only with holes on other places.
Talon just wants to play with new friend, but first he has to disable the cyber eye with tracking system, as daddy Mordecai taught.

Oh, almost forgot, this happens in location Jimenez. It’s a magical place!

Is Mordecai getting fatter with each subsequent drawing?

it’s strange for me why in the context of Borderlands people usually say only about conceptually not related post-apocalyptic Mad Max film series (only because of some superficial visual design elements), while there’s so many good films purely about BORDER LANDS (especially those that starring the actor of our favorite Mordecai)
Since the image of “Mordy” from BL2 not only hasn’t shown evolution of Mordecai character, but also fundamentally contradicted and was antipode to all key subtleties of it, the only opportunity to observe possible evolutions of this image – is to take a closer look at its source. Algorithms of Mordecai’s evolution can built through observing other Julio Cedillo’s characters.

On this homage to Sicario i wanted to emphasize the expressive features of elegant character who is already looking more like high rang commander of strategy than simple protagonist of shooter.

(daym, I want a prequel about Fausto as Action hero! … What kind of lawyer could make him panic so badly?.. – ♪ One toke, man! One toke over the la-a-a-ine! XD)

New stage of Mordecai looks so wholesome because he probably has more wide scale adventures than running all day like crazy in the wasteland, carrying six bus tires on his back…

I guess you could get a little confused about sequence, because subsequent drawings published here in the latest ~4 posts are about 2290s and 5260s, and Ultra-Thin version from 5250s was shown in previous episodes.

There’s no more reliable indicator of story epoch than size of Mordecai’s waist! ^ _ ^

By the way, thicc versions are much more complex and interesting to draw than bony model he has in released games.

A more voluminous figure, which I consider to be the most harmonious choice for a good BL3, can help Mordecai with getting into Eridians’ trust.
These “seashell golems” wear masks resembling human faces on special mounts, while their real faces seems to be located on torso (the critical point is on torso). Mordecai can get an advantage in dialogues with Eridians causing friendly Pareidolia with his belly.
This can be also a good trolling of stupid Void Lords who hate Life and scorn the Existence :bllol:

Many stages, ages, colors and sizes of Mordecai have already been shown in this thread, but yet the version of just BL2 without DLCs and modifications was skipped. (if not to count first person protanopic picture with polaroid)

I need to finish the thought that started back in 2014 (when i played BL2).

That thing that was presented in videogame Borderlands 2 under Mordecai’s name – it wasn’t just WASTED Mordecai with severe stage of sore throat – it wasn’t Mordecai at all!
After I got a closer look at this thing I no longer feel the “uncanny valley”. Just hope it was buried under the ruins of Helios station along with the rest of harmful lies.

Where was our favorite protagonist in those doubtful times…?

I guess Mordecai himself barely remembers the details, since his problems with alcohol seem to be a true fact.
But one thing I know for sure, he’d never behave like insensate crap.
And he would never try to shove Talon into a cage, and not only because he is not insensate crap, but because this method of transportation technically contradicts to logical variations of safe handling of such kind of flying life forms. Birds of prey of this anatomic design (analogically with known Terran species – something between a raven and secretarybird) are not able to climb and land on perpendicular surfaces same way like parrots or woodpeckers, such design is more set for rapid powerful jumps that, under the conditions of a cage, with hundred percent probability causes injuries of head, tail and other parts, not to mention huge stress. (the safest way is carry the bird on a hand with a special glove.)
Analogically with other Julio Cedillo’s characters who successfully show mastery and techniques of realistic interplay with horses, goats, cows, kids, narcos and other creatures; True Mordecai is able to show a lot of properly adapted details of fascinating falconry in conditions of sci-fi setting, making it Magically Realistic.

And according to canons of the genre in one of such scenes this song played in the background out of an old glitchy ECHO-receiver, which once belonged to Baha’s wife…

I think it also fits for ending credits, since I told and shown all things that i considered important to tell and show here for now (without spoilers).
I always put more energy into this than got back anyway (not counting attempts of energy vampires to take even more each time)

Hehe… It so happened that I prepared this post before the release of commercial product titled ‘Borderlands 3’. I was ready for the invasion of hideous monsters from a negative alternative universe … but it turned out to be just an ECHOnet show with cosplayers for stupid kids.

I see now that in the current scenario, my post may seem too brutal and surious (since it was written by an inveterate player of Borderlands 2009).
In order to avoid another misunderstanding, I advise to consider that Klopotinsha sets out her ideas in the manner of New Sincerity (Russian variant of using the term, correlating with metamodernism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Sincerity#Russia)

I’ve seen some sh*t, amigo. Cultivation of pusillanimity and total dehumanization of characters generated a different outcome for Borderlands story.
IN PREVIOUS ARTICLE I have compared the positive and negative endings of BL2. Personally, I finished BL2 with a good ending and I can’t even imagine what needs to be done to lower karma so low that bad one opens, so I’ve watched it at Youtubes.
Apparently, something was broken inside Gearbox judging by the rapid decline in the quality level starting with BL2 (while the games of the series performed by other studios, TPS by 2K Australia and Telltale’s Tales, were slightly better). Maybe this is due to the psychoactive radiation from decaying flesh of the Destroyer… or someone just became too greedy and initiated the replacement of professional talented employees with units, less demanding for good working conditions.
I didn’t expect it would look so… uh, “EA style”.

And yea, now they have abused even a young bird. I gonna call this monster Negatalon. Pitiable embittered result of mindless neglect and cruelty over animal.
The plastic mask hides injuries received due to the fact that Liebretch’s Mor-decoy, who can’t be trusted with anything, shoved his bird into a small cage.
And this nonsense with repaint in red… why? To spread stupid rumors that Bloodwing had sexual relationships with Woody Woodpecker?
Collar with spikes - is f* sadistic torture instrument. Because of this, the bird is not able to take care of its feathers, normally eat, sleep, fly (birds change the center of gravity in flight using their neck), percept the world around and so on … this literally makes the bird unviable.
Such image causes instant association with the problem of nature pollution. Illustrations like - a bird that dies because its neck is stuck in plastic trash - the second most popular version of the illustrations on the subject after a bird that is all smeared in black fuel oil.
Or maybe this wretched design actually does not symbolize anything and was simply created by ignoramuses who know nothing about birds.

Those who are even a little familiar with birds are well aware that their neck is a very important and delicate organ that cannot be limited in motion. Gps trackers can be attached to tail quills. Objects similar by function to dog collars can be dressed on bird’s tarsometatarsus (legs).

NIИ - The Day The World Went Away (Still)

This story with negative BL2 ending (out of BL1 canons) is somewhat similar to my childhood disappointment with the game ‘S.t.a.l.k.e.r’. When the game was in development (as Oblivion Lost), I’ve read several books written synchronously with the scriptwriters of the game and there was something amazing about it. But then the key part of the developers left the project, the concept of the game was replaced with something completely simple and meaningless, and the game with the final title Shadow of Chernobyl came out, well, how can I put this… it came out ПОЛНЫМ ГОВНОМ.

And a few years later, the developers who left that decaying studio created a real masterpiece - METRO series based on the books by Dmitry Glukhovsky (and he also wrote the script for the games) - and these games realized in the best possible way everything I dreamed about when was waiting for True Stalker. (By the way, Metro even has its own Black "Eridians”, reminding of little guys from Peter Gabriel’s OVO. And even a character who performs the function of local Mordecai. And the protagonist like Russian version of A. Shephard. And the third game of the series - Metro: Exodus perfectly embodies everything that I want from gameplay of good and right Borderlands 3! ЫЫЫ!)

So I better watch for the next adventures of Matthew Armstrong (creator of the original sci-fi Borderlands) and keep enjoy the amazing career development of my favorite actor Julio Cedillo (Mordecai NEVERDYING, PROTECTOR OF JIMENEZ, SWORN ENEMY OF AN INCUBUS!)

It’s quite surprising actually ;]

As for METRO, I’d recommend to go through all three games. This series has much more in common with True Borderlands than one may think, speaking about the framework of script and the key topics to which the first two games of both series are devoted.
Except that Borderlands was about mentality of real borderlands of Texas placed in cosmofuturistic sci-fi, while Metro shows Russian mentality (starting from Muscovites) in post-apocalyptic setting, and the triquel of Metro doesn’t suck.
M:2033 is cozy like original BL1. I always love to imagine as if BL has an option of stealth walkthrough that at the end gives a choice to stop the opening of the Vault … Well, not with its current narrator. Marcus would never tell about hostiles who don’t seem like absolute monsters and how dexterity and inventiveness helps VaultHunters to avoid using of guns, because main accent in his stories is focused on adversitasing of guns. I bet Mordecai himself 100% cannot remember the brand, for example, of a pistol that he mechanically pulled from under someone’s corpse to shoot off a head of armed cannibal psycho rushing towards him…
And the sequel, M: Last Light (or as I call it “Метро Cасайт”), seemed to me real boring for the same reason BL2 did… too much timing wasted on worthless antagonistic a-holes instead of theme of “Eridians”. And the character that performs the functions of local Mordecai was spoiled… BUT! Just a bit, certanly not as much as Mord in BL2; only Khan’s visual appearance (head of the model) was made so-so, but his (original RU) voice and the story was perfect! Perhaps the main difference between the character of Khan and Mordecai is that Khan is not so egocentric and he lets Artyom to play the lead role, while True Mordecai would prefer to keep all Eridians for himself… да, M: Last Light is good, despite that first part of the game was stuffy and boring as BL2, the patience pays off when the story finally comes to the theme of local analogue of Eridians (known as ЧЁРНЫЕ).

And the third game M:Exodus continues the good ending of sequel and, as I already said, it perfectly illustrates how the good true canonical triquel of Borderlands should be done (regarding the artistic and philosophical values ​​of the original BL1); as for the quality of story, as for quality of technical aspects, as for gameplay features.

And I recommend to play Metro with original RU sound, especially in Exodus.
Dub really spoils the ambiance; making Russian characters on their homeland for some reason speak on broken English with preposterous accent. Dub also ruins the part of the story; in the original voice acting much attention is paid to the characters who have particular ethnic accent and/ or specific manner of speech, intonations, which tell a lot about the path they came through long before disclosing of details of characters’ backstories. Actually it is also an important element of gameplay: listening to the voices you can assume which of characters are going to be hostile and which are going to be friendly… or at least not too much afraid of Artyom if he shows up on light with lowered gun to see something interesting. And there’s nothing to worry about if you cannot independently understand Russian speech: the game has subtitles, and even if you’ll miss something, it’ll only add more realism to perception of the story because the protagonist is shellshocked and regularly receives high doses of radiation which effects on central nervous system.

Actually I’m tellin’ all this because in Exodus you need to listen to Melnik’s voice!
And don’t forget to pick up the guitar and plush bear on Volga.
And press [D] to hug your wife.

This is so symbolic that Alpha Kyle Reese from the zero/initial/unchanged universe of the Terminator was performed by Julio Cedillo! (Michael Biehn in T1 performs Standard Kyle of the third timeline)

By the way, I had a thought to draw a chainlet with dog paws on Justin Perry’s neck, but in this universe it would look like he ate them … has anyone wondered why in this game people don’t use dogs to detect terminators?

Wow wow! What if Mordecai from Borderlands turns out to be Marcus’ father? You know, like Reese and Connor (i just keep making parallels with BL1 voice actors from TTDOF). I love Pandora’s realistic isolation. It is the final destination. The last frontier. One way tickets only. I signed up for surious sci-fi satire, not some fantasy anime with internet memes and toyish spaceships. That’s another reason why i don’t need “Terminator Genisys“ from the creators of Buttborn! :wink:

I like to return to old stuff of the late 90s / early 00s, when, as a rule, developers put their souls into video games, and did not follow the path of least resistance.


I’ve played the second one many times, loved it, the only negatives were some glitches on ps3…

Guess what!? I got voice sample of REAL Mordecai performed by Julio Cesar Cedillo for Borderlands 2!
My precious treasure!
Found in Borderlands 2 game files and converted into common format by an ally.
I wasn’t digging in BL2 voice files by myself because there’s too much eridium slag.
But remember i told often about rudiments of scripts and many things that show what this story supposed to be…
How i imagined this voice while looking at the subtitles that was yet meant for him.
And now i can hear it with my ears for real. It feels amazing.
Unlikely to be able to find the right words to describe how amazing it is, i decided to make an illustration of this moment.


Otter eyes never lies.
I had to remove some flesh between skin and bones to emphasize the story points like unsuitability of conditions for human living on severe planet Pandora and the consequences of meeting face to face with the Old God…
Isn’t it wonderful that artist like me can perform such creepy anatomical digging to emphasize the story points and there’s no need to starve the actor for real ^ _ ^

Of course, for the times of True Stage 3 Mordecai should be healthened to his normal condition.
I guess I have already spoken that I really want to see full motion capture from Julio in AAA project with CGI.

You know, this nine-second speech has more value than the entire released game!
(I aware that some care more about quantity of Sirens and plastic guns, than about specific features of the story - they deserved Borderlands 3 which they got – Jajaja!)

First of all, Julio’s nine-second speech correctly reflects character evolution of Mordecai and his role in the story, supporting it with proper emotion. True Mordecai has no time for sadness and apathy. According to his personality revealed in BL1, logical change in the emotional state of the subject in the context of BL2 events should be manifestation of righteous anger and decisiveness.

Further - it creates the environment, makes it work.
Mordecai is not talking to those hastly crafted spineless morons from released BL2; the playable protagonist(s) with whom he speaks can be trusted with a serious matter.
And the Warrior - The Warrior didn’t worked until he named it: in released videogame it was not a big deal, just unmemorable easy trash npc that instantly dies for no reason … but after hearing how REAL Mordecai speaks about it, hell, so many thoughts - amazing global concept!
And True Brick who’ll give supplies must be not less badass than Justin Perry from The Terminator, and he’s nothing like release clown betrayer who hangs around with crappy Decoy in anime cosplay show.
Yes, this Mordecai’s voice record was intended for completely different game.
Perhaps, cold dubstep with anxious clank of metal strings is not really suitable as a soundtrack for action from this (non-Hyperion) point of view… it needs more warmth and passion.
The Moody Blues for mood example:

Looking at the situation from this angle, I want to note the similarity of the visual design of the Warrior of Pandora with the Guardians of planet Shear (known as the Monsters in game Evolve) except the last ones were made of flesh… drawing an analogy with Titans-created races of Azeroth, we can assume that the Monsters used to be like The Warrior until something, like “infection by The Curse of Flesh made by OG”, happened to them. However i prefer to percept them as just big awesome animals like Wild Gods, then i assume the Warrior could be created by their image and likeness… Whatever. Accurate knowledge has been washed off by the ages.

The legends are true. Hyperion corp was intended to take control over the ancient Eridian golem, but they made critical mistakes in the launch, trying to charge the Warrior with soulless artificial “Blue Hell” energy driven through negative biofield of sick cybernated psionic monster, ironically named Angel.
Besides, the golem was contaminated with eridium slag.
Mordecai’s idea about taming The Warrior became no longer relevant, the complex mechanism was irreparably WASTED and had to be disposed of by conventional methods – in lava (same as the “Vault key”).

But Mordecai still got the chance to practice a little later, when Eridian Watcher came and dispelled the boredom of Athena’s horror stories.
By that time, Hyperion mole Marcus Kincaid was exiled from Sanctuary and, consequently, was no aware about details of the following events.

And I have told these events in The Most Final Epilogue to Borderlands2 : Legend of the Elder Mountain, the Wild Beasts and Hobo Spirit (partly narrated in 2014-2016)
The thing is, Pandora is of great strategic importance to these naive aliens, but since the planet was “contaminated by hostile naughties”, Eridians couldn’t get the full access to their facilities. And since their Warrior was destroyed they needed a little help in “spring cleaning”. True Mordecai’s Soul Core perfectly fits to channel proper mental connection with wild animals of Pandora.
The Watcher noted that the horde of small meat creatures have coped with everything much more accurately and effectively than one stone giant would.
Hyperion Corporation suffered huge losses and they had to explain it somehow.

And it is actually pretty handy that so-called “Borderlands 3” was trash that absolutely ignores the lore and canon of previous games and, moreover, dilettantishly contradicts even itself within its own narrative: all this simply reveals Marcus Kincaid as completely Unreliable narrator and gives a green light to clean up Bоrderlands 2 story from all irrelevant garbage.

For example, Project “Jack” : i always told that this worthless nothingness is nothing. And now I doubt that behind this nothing could have stand even worthless nothingness. I don’t think there was some programmist John or any natural person. It could be absolutely fictional thing that existed only in Hyperion propaganda: media content in ECHOnet, agitational posters for Hyperion employees, billboards, poor dummies like Timmy, virus in Rhys’ cybernated brain, and other purely artificial things.
It’s not in Mordecai’s style to take vengeance on some particular person, he rather fought with faceless mass that have done more bad than any OG. A big commercial organization that worked on killing Bloodwing: biologists, engineers, miners, military, office plankton - a lot of people who might not have even realized what the hell they were doing. And because of this stinking bureaucracy it may not be even possible to find out who gave the orders.

Can you imagine REAL Mordecai saying that he dislikes eating? Jajajajajajaja XD

Meanwhile, in the good universe of True Stage 3 era, Tiny Tina grew up into beautiful young lady: daring and kind as classic Disneyish-Miyazakian princess, who masterly mastered all types of equipment and weapons as real cosmo-western hero and able to mesmerize with her bizarre speeches as the messenger of Eridian shaman.


Mordecai many times offered Tina to pick the best of his elite Scythids, who can be grown into the fastest Runners, winged Flyers, or even a bulletproof Tank!
But Tina always refused, called them disgusting squealing creatures, always adding - ‘Of course, except you, Horse’, when Jose was about to spray slime on her…
And then she suddenly changed her mind and chose as her pet the most ordinary, unremarkable Crawler with a slight developmental delay.
Tina made this decision absolutely spontaneously when she noticed that appetizing dish on Mordecai’s plate was still moving…

Tina’s steed’s name is Salsa.
The Scythid got such name because he was already poured on with this Truxican sauce when Tina decided to save him out of Mordecai’s plate, even regardless that Mordecai already stabbed a fork into him. The thing is that Scythids are well adapt, can even have elemental effects themselves(fire, electricity, corrosion, etc.) and usually survive even when they are cooked for two and a half hours at a temperature of 400 degrees (Celsius). The young Scythid Crawler named Salsa did not resist during this process and even considered it a great honor and the only meaning of life - to be converted into energy for the favorite human of the Scythids, Mordecai, who inspired them for conscious evolution.
Besides, The Collective Intelligence of Scythids considered Salsa “defective” and not suitable for anything else.
Salsa did not feel the pain while he was cooked or when Mordecai stabed him with a fork, because The Collective Intelligence of Scythids, after several experiments, realized that when they feel pain and do squeal, Mordecai loses a desire to eat them.
Salsa has moved by accident due to congenital anomaly of the nervous system that would not affect the taste in the opinion of The Collective Intelligence of Scythids… and he was itching all over because of the hot sauce.

Unfortunately, I have no moral right to avoid writing a social commentary about how Tina and I are disappointed that in Marcus’s foolish cosplay show she was portrayed as some kind of dumb infantile hysterical harlot.
In case with pinche Mor-decoy - it was at least a complex disinformational derogatory construction showing a negative image exactly opposite to real Mordecai, a literal listing of the antonyms for the basic characteristics of the original character: Mor-deccoy is a dull, passive, cowardly weakling who cannot be trusted with animals (ecpecially birds)
But the way they treated Tina is just a primitive that cannot be correlated with her real image anyhow. (And, not to mention the face, her visual design totally sucks - where did the rabbits come from in the cosmo-futuristic sci-fi? From the Internet of the 21st century? The Rabbit is an extinct species of creatures from the planet that was forgotten a long, long time ago.)

In the dark times of BL2, 13-year-old Tiny Tina was a conscience, hope and generally an advanced person - almost the only new character who perfectly understood what was really going on.

True Tina - she’s a real psycho! This means that she is different from the “majority”. And while the majority of wannabe-psychos become infected with all kinds of diseases through promiscuous sexual intercourse, she, on the contrary, believes that chastity and monogamy are pretty badass.
Actually, she doesn’t think so literally about this - she is always busy with much more important things.
However, she likes one guy from the new team of Vault Hunters. Interdimensional wanderer who mastered the language of race X, and then also D’ni (he has really cool diary!), and although he came from completely different time and culture, he perfectly adapts to the conditions on Pandora!
Besides, according to Tina, he’s a ‘cutie’, and, by the way, physically he is same age as her, and yes, he’s a human! Of course, first of all, she would like to become ‘supergoodfriends 4 life’ with him.

Mordecai paid attention to Tina’s interest in this newcomer, and began to give him more quests. Tina even asked Mordecai not to send him on so dangerous missions, to which he replied that why shouldn’t she just go help him then - with the good team it would no longer be so dangerous… But it is another story.
