I always thought this was pretty obvious, but I’ve found that loads of people don’t know it -
In Meltdown, if you’re coming into a lane at the last second to prevent minions from entering your recycler, don’t just shoot them from behind, as they’ll just ignore you and continue funneling into the recycler. If you stand in front of them (between them and the recycler) and shoot them, they will stop moving into the recycler and start attacking you, giving you much more time to take them out. You’ll be taking damage, though, so it does have a risk factor. There’s also a point of no return where the minions will begin their “recycling” animation and not stop for anything, and it’s helpful to watch the recycling a few times to get a feel for when it is.
