Well.. I think I found why HW1R Mission 8 is a cakewalk

I’m very glad the mod community is checking source files.

Im not sure tbh, theres other missions in the game that has player1reinforce and they all seem to say the same thing so i dont think it has anything to do with cpu reinforcments such as what you seemed to think was needed and wasnt there?

Yikes. That’s an obvious bug. We’ll get a fix for that into the patch queue and check other missions for similar goofs. Thanks for spotting this!
