Well if you guys wanna play with me Id certainly love to have you. It would make the first play through bearable. Also none of my IRL friends play Borderlands so Im very lonely. 553 hours solo in BL2.

Jakobs builds are great on ammo, but they truly rock because of the Crapshooter COM
Putting Tombstone on a COM was just insaneā€¦ they dropped the ball there IMO

its not that they put tombstone on a com. its just that tombstone is broken (in a good way) as hell. ive seen hot lead kill bosun.

Yes, but if it was limited to 30% chance, those strings of sparks would never happen.

In short, it couldnā€™t be RELIED ON to bring the hurt in unconventional ways. It would just be a DPS increase.

In regular use, tombstone is even less horrifying as getting crits on your own would still be a good idea, so you would get even less of them (since Tombstone does nothing on shots that are already natural crits)
I bet more people whould ADS during showdown if crapshooter didnā€™t exist :smile:

true. still wont stop me from freezing an enemy and shooting them with a luck cannon from far away. two sources of damage increase is pretty neat.

Quick shot is nice, but itā€™s not as good as what you get out of a crit. I think of quick shot as more of a ā€œif you are already planning on not ADS, why not take this ?ā€

In a world without Crapshooter and Jakobs build, Unchained is MUCH better.

true. but in a boss fight scenario, (say, eclipse) its good DPS and heā€™s big. personally, on an automatics build, i take both.

Iā€™v only ever been on discord in the 'random talk" sectionā€¦ and only on mobile (since its not available on either of the OS I have at home) so my knowledge of it is limited.

Melee-Athena is just so much fun and bloody like hell, and Nisha is such a nasty b*tch on battlefield :cupid:

For instant speedrush-feeling IĀ“d choose Nisha first, but imo Athena is more fun at highlevel^^

Itā€™s late so maybe I missed it but I saw you ask for fast.

A hybrid Elemental/Melee Athena will be zipping all over the place once you get BR. If you have multiple enemies grouped together in the air, you can hit all of them with separate BR shots before you land which is hectic but fun. I think my max air combo was 5 or 6 before I fell in the Holodome but Iā€™m sure more can be landed. Even on land just BR to everyone and hit them, snap to someone else, rush them and their five companions. Youā€™ll be all over the map and never standing still.

If you donā€™t want to be totally godlike, donā€™t use her Aspis at all and you have to play very quick and smart to not die from sustained damage. I did this when I finally got all my gear at 70 and it was much harder than I thought it would be, but I had a fun time wrecking everyone and still being really challenged.

I think a Boomtrap Claptrap might be the character you are looking for. Heā€™s reliant on kills for healing and he always seems to be on the verge of death, yet still manages to push through. I find that I have to move constantly, either to evade any bad Tediore throws or to close the distance between my enemies for my Ravager. The random nature of Clappyā€™s AS makes for some chaotic situations as well.
