You’ll get it bro, hell mine was missing a line but had ammo regen and I still use it to this day for craw killing. I actually got it from craw but it’s a pretty rare drop from him from what I’ve seen…

Busy day. Wrapped up all the rest of INAC DLC (except the stupid achievements. Does Mordecai’s ransack help in collecting the bobbleheads and the like?). I got to level 69 just before the end.

After that ran the Angelic Ruins in Underdome to complete the second Prove yourself mission and earn the final skill point. I didn’t really have any plan as to where to put it since I have everything covered so I threw it in to Riotous Remedy to witness it’s badness with my own eyes when I play next time. I’ll probably boost my Out for blood to 4 points when I’m done laughing to RR.

I’ve still Ned’s to complete and some sidequests to do in Knoxx and then I’ve done my first ever 100 % completion of this game.

Nope :frowning:

Aaand I gues Swipe doesn’t cause any of them to pop out either. I might not bother with those achievements then. I’ve only ever seen 1 bobblehead. Getting 10 is going to take ridiculously long. Then there’s the other collectibles that aren’t too usual either.

I got those by basically farming Hyperion Dump over and over. A massive number of dead claptraps later, and not only did I have everything but I’d also picked up some really nice gear. I alternated the dump with thingy - the map where the factory full of claptraps is - which also has some nice red chests in it.

Same here. It shouldn’t take too long with that method, iirc.

Yeah, the initial waves pretty much respawn if you run a circuit - a bit like Lynchwood in BL2. Actually some pretty fun mobbing!

I guess I could try that. It’s just that between completing all of the part collections on 2 playthroughs with 2 characters I’ve seen only one bobblehead ever so I’m not too thrilled about the drop chances.

I guess I could do some Ransack runs there after I’ve wrapped the rest of the game up.

Oh yeah, also what did I do in my latest session…

I completed Ned’s and all sidequests around those parts. I used a Hellfire for most of the DLC which brought my SMG proficiency quite near the maximum (I think it’s 45 now).

Tried farming the pack three times to get my relics to level 6, I’ve picked up several shock ones but none of the others. I got a ton of berserker relics but finally received fire and explosive relics. Still need to go back there to farm the missing acid relic.

Jumped into Knoxx’s and turned in the Moxxi quests. Finally got past Ajax to complete the Bugged sidemission. Found a lance chest I never knew about. It’s accessible by jumping down from a certain point in the high ground of the Bugged mission. Then I completed Super Marcus Sweep while I was around. I can use the last quest to farm the armory if I want to but I feel like I’m pretty well decked out already.

I got those by going to MINAC on PT1, going into the little cave thing on the far end of his combat arena, and then switching the TV input to watching Netflix for a couple hours. The suicide exploders can’t get to you in time if you’re in that cave, and after a couple hours are up, you can waltz out, blow up the underleveled MINAC, and stroll around collecting all the things that you need for the achievements. This method can also be useful for taking out a chunk of the last collection mission for Tannis too.

It’s not the most exciting way in the world to do it, but it’s effective if you’re just trying to get the achievements done.

That’s genius, I’ll have to try that while I’m going for a walk of something.

Completed Local trouble mission today and got my SMG proficiency to 50 right at the end of it. I was supposed to also go tackle a couple of rounds off from circle of duty but I just forgot to go there when I completed the other quest and save and quit out. Another time then.

Are there a some European PC players around here BTW? I’ll probably ask in the online section at some point but I was just interested in gauging interest for forming a group for doing the long Underdome arenas. They get so boring and repetitive that getting a group of 3 or 4 would spice it up a lot. 1 arena / weekend or something whenever everyone is available at the same time.

Farmed craw, and ran the farmory a few times. Craw was apparently feeling generous today because he dropped me a Bessie, and the max titan COM I was looking for. Didn’t get anything noteworthy from the farmory though. Also ran the Knox DLC on my Brick, and started Claptrap’s DLC.

I did something today that I had never done before: I did a full clear of Rust Commons East, trekking the whole map on foot. Firing up a Bloodwing-build Mordecai, I started with Slither, hoping for a Hornet Dove (lol), but got nothing. Then I killed all the scythids outside that area before moving to the spiderant and bandit camps near one of the altars. Cleared them out, and then the bandit camp heading towards the Middle of Nowhere. Got a Bastard from one of the Bullies there, but it had the HVY body so I sold it at that gun vendor.

I headed towards the Middle of Nowhere, killing the spiderants off to the right as you approach the Middle of Nowhere, and opened the red chest back there. Still no loot, and nothing good in the vendors by the bounty board either. So I continued down towards where you pick up Green Thumb, killing all the scythids and spiderants along the way, before climbing up towards where Claptrap has to lower the bridge for you. I noticed a spot off to the right a little bit that I hadn’t seen before, so I went to explore it. Bunch of scythids, and a couple of skag piles that looked to be the ones that always drop some type of gear. So I’ll keep that in mind for future playthroughs.

Anyways, I crossed the bridge and killed Helob, who got me a level of Eridian proficiency, and cleared out all those spiderants, as well as the ones by the Catch-A-Ride. Then I went into Taylortown and killed everything there. Kobb dropped a purple Spread Roaster, which I quickly sold, as I find spread launchers to be pointless.

I headed up to the church and cleared out that area, as well as the second satellite camp, and the bandit camp near where you get the valve for Green Thumb. I checked the red chest on top of the ridge, but got nothing out of it, so I continued on. I reached the area of the road, just before the Old Haven transition, where a bunch of Agitated Spiderlings attack. Bloodwing made quick work of most of them, and one of them dropped me a great, dark orange, S&S Crux upgrade. So that was sweet. Used that for the rest of the run, killing everything else on the map, and by the time I had finished, I had bumped my Eridian proficiency by a couple levels and my shotgun proficiency by 4 levels. All in all, very productive and a lot of fun mobbing.

I picked up my soldier-focused Roland build last night for a bit. Roland needed to complete the Gully in order to finish off the small rounds of Moxxi’s Underdome. I died 3 times in the opening two rounds. Off to an inauspicious start. But I regrouped after that and knocked out rounds 1-5 in one go. No notable drops, but now I have the small rounds of Moxxi done on each of my level 69 characters. Next up is MINAC!

Freaking killed my hardcore-mode Lilith. Blew myself up with a Jakobs fuel tank after cleaning out Jaynistown. Fark!

Well I’m going to keep playing that character because i don’t feel like starting over.

Forgot to post, but last Friday (the 5th) I got the urge to pick this back up. Almost exactly a year later! (Sorry, phone pic)

Never got around to doing the DLC, so I worked on the General Knoxx one. Pretty cool hearing Athena’s dialogue and recognizing stuff from TPS.

I believe I stopped when I got to Lockdown Palace and I’m lv. 40 now; saw my first Loot Modget of BL1, a Truxican Wrestler, which made me laugh.

Did you catch with BL2 connection with this mission?

I took my turret-build Roland for a spin today. I picked up to hand in the Treacher’s Landing mission to Earl, and then started making my way to Krom. I fixed the Middle of Nowhere Bounty Board, and used my vehicle’s rocket launcher to clear out the turrets on the way to Krom. Once I got into the Canyon, instead of going straight for Krom, I went off to the right and got the Claptrap mission done. Dinging 25 let me use the Anaconda I had been holding on to. Next session will definitely see me take out Krom and get some more unheard dialogue!

I took my Lilith (lvl. 66) for a run , and took out Krom last night.

I like that mission and do have a soft spot for Krom’s Sidearm. It’s pretty powerful against Lance and I often use it if I don’t have a Defiler or Crux.
