Like many Pandoran challenges I’ve come to love challenging buzzard kills. I got one with a Fastball the other day… most satisfying.

I’m trying to farm a Rubi for the OP8 collection. Figured it’d be best if it was Slag and bladed, preferably with Maliwan grip… needless to say it’s taking a while!

I just got slag + bladed. Bandit grip is meh but I can’t be bothered farming anymore for now!
Earlier today I did the LOTR easter egg for the first time I think ever. I have footage of my run, although i’m not sure it’s too entertaining

Also, on explosive Axton or Krieg (or Sal with Double Your Fun) they can be incredibly lethal
My OP8 Axton actually has one, and with his explosive buffs…

Hey guys. Many of you know about my haiku thread but you gotta check this one out ( sorry - the link messes up the format - it’ll make more sense when you view it ) :

I used to confuse Wizards with Sorcerers until I found them in Magic Slaughter using shields, teleporting, and spamming projectiles faster than the Necromancers or Fire Mages.
Sorcerers don’t do those tricks apparently, they just have their shiny ice and shock attacks. They also like to bleach themselves.

Wizards only appear in the magic slaughter @Adabiviak and @diator1730 - they are given name changes when you advance in modes - much like other enemies. But, as for that enemy exclusively, they only spawn in Murdelin’s temple (aka the Magic Slaughter).

Thanks for confirming! @Vinterbris too should know.

No prob
I was curious myself so I checked it out because you would think sorcerer and wizard would be about the sane right?

I ended up doing three bunker runs on my level 72 Mechromancer- Amber, and then finished up Where Angels fear to Tread Part 1 and 2 then finished up getting the explosives from the saw teeth. Productive day all things considering. I was super upset since no sham or bitch…no skin even so ya I’ll do three more runs when I get home from work in 2 hours.

I did not know LLMs could spawn like that. Interesting. Though as hattieinduni said, that sounds extremely dangerous. Might try it with Krieg or Sal sometime, I guess.
On topic - another fairly short session with Krieg today, partly because I’m tired, partly because I’m just not keen on doing the next steps for most of my characters (WEP for the 12th time - meh; Axton - meh; Zero - meh; finishing the Tina DLC with Gaige - some good content, but also my second-least favorite map in the entire game…
).
So Krieg blew up the Beatdown, with no real problems except when he died. A cowardly “badass” knocked him into FFYL then ran away and hid for the duration. I hate when they do that. Then a bunch of bloodsplodetastic bar brawl rounds, blew up Pete, rescued Moxxi, and visited her bar. Technically Pete was a bloodsplosion too, but by the time the spiderants came out he only had a sliver of health anyway. The red chest by Moxxi had a decent blue Coach Gun for Sal/Gaige to use someday. He also picked up a purple Ravager with poor parts to replace his old Ravager.
I’m still pondering what to do next. Could continue and face Motor Momma, or take a break from Torgue to do the Wedding Day Massacre or something.

I’m pretty sure that’s the Lair - but what’s your least favourite?

I used to. You confirmed the spawn locations.
However I still cannot find an evidence for sacrificial altar Badass Wizard spawn. Just keep farming the Magic Slaughter for 4xMMs then.

Got Gaige up to Where Angels Fear to Tread in UVHM and at L56 am starting to get to that point where weapons don’t last very long and suitable replacements are few and far between. If I hadn’t farmed for a Hornet first I don’t think I’d have been able to get through Opportunity.
Deathtrap is also looking pretty potent now. Pretty aptly named!

This is where I find the vending machines (Torgue and Seraph) to be extremely helpful. Even if you don’t usually use the gear they give you, there are certainly some very good options in the meantime until you get to later levels.

Yes I’m religiously checking the regular ones now but nothing too special just yet. Keep hoping!
Don’t have any crystals to check the specialist machines and haven’t started DLC yet, though

To be honest just the Torgue stuff can help you faceroll most things

Amen to that. Until now I’ve been lucky with Torgue ARs and they’ve pretty much carried Gaige since at least L35 or so. Have a L52 Purple Spitter which has rocked but is now starting to show its age. Your post has just reminded me to maybe pay a house call to Savage Lee

Funny you should say that, my Gaige is only level 23 at the moment, but ever since I found a nice (as nice as a green can be) Torgue AR, everything just kind of… dies
Speaking of which, I just jumped into her game and did the Safe and Sound mission so she can get a Heartbreaker, her Triquetra is becoming a bit underleveled now so felt like replacing it.
