Murdering everything with the Buffalo my JakobsGaige got. Really fun. Hitting enemies in their crit location is remarkable easy, even over 80 stacks of anarchy.

Couple quests with OP8 Maya, lurked in the Scarlett DLC for a bit, then ripped it up with OP8 Gaige and Zer0. Terra, Pete, Hyperius, Son of Craw, 3 tubbies, 2 in one Caustic run and one in the Badlands. Bunch of drops, overall good session.

Having hard time clearing op6. Farmed up some new stuff. Found out that at op5 with at level gear hyperius is even easier than at op0. Is it the bee crit at higher level?
Been a very unproductive day for me work wise, but been a reasonable one Borderlands wise. I did a bit of Hyperius farming to start the day, still trying for that Norfleetā¦Still no joy, didnāt even get any legendaries. Then decided to try my luck getting Krieg through the peak, managed that on the second try, so now Krieg is my second character into the OP levels. Does anybody know of any particularly good builds for Krieg in the peak, Iām going to check the Krieg master list tomorrow, but if anybody can point me in the direction of one that would be very much appreciated.
Did some tubby farming with Maya, then took her through the Son of Crawmerax DLC, nothing really of note to show from it though.
Finally I went back to do some more Hyperius farmingā¦I got 3 Hornets and a Sledgeās Shotgunā¦but still no Norfleet. I did manage to find out that I can kill him about 10 times without clearing the majority of the loot before my PS3 gives up and freezes, so it may be quicker for me to do a few runs without clearing the loot then just save quitting and running through from the start again.
I just upped my resolution to 2715 x 1527 with no noticeable side-effects.
Couldnāt do this pre-patch (though admittedly Iāve had nVidia driver updates in that time). Glorious. Everything is so crisp, and the text prompts are readable enough even with the downsampling.

Played some more story with my Maya reset. Blasted the bunker with nothing more than a Maggie, then switched back over to what seems like a never ending dashboard farming cycle for a ROM, so I can finish rebuilding Sal
I think I was running something similar to this with L. Reaper, L. Psycho and L. Sickle used as needed- also used Butchers to deal with surveyors:

Did some runs in Lynchwood at OP0 with my Axton looking for Dahl Efficiency skins. No luck so far. I also took the opportunity to try my Torgue allegiance and Babymaker/Fastball builds. Damn, changing your playstyle after so long is hard! I died a lot, but at least I got some practice with the Flakker and aiming Fastballs. The Torgue build didnāt work for me as well I thought it would, but the Babymaker/Fastball build was so powerful I didnāt even need slag to kill enemies. Still, I think Iām gonna stick with my Double-Up/Gemini build. Maybe itās just that Iām not used to those other playstyles yet, but my regular build still feels more comfortable and I felt a little too constrained by the weapon limitations on the other ones.

I found it helps to use the top cross hair line. If you line it up with the bottom of the top line, it will hit. Figured this out working on my fastball aim with the slagga equiped
I figured that aiming a little lower was better most of the time. Aiming down sights briefly with the Babymaker before throwing a Fastball just to correct my aim also helped with long distance throws. I also noticed that you can make a Fastball bounce on the floor right in front of an enemy and it will hit him almost every time. Itās a good technique for throwing while moving. All in all, the playstyle certainly forced me to slow my pace down a little bit, aim more carefully and wait for the right moment to throw one. The only problem I had with this playstyle is that it made me feel a little too exposed and too much like a glass cannon.
Youāll get faster at it as you get used to it. The crosshair thing has rarely failed me, although you do need to compensate for distance, and accuracy of the gun (for using the crosshairs as a guide). I have gotten to the point where I can single out a weaker enemy in the middle of a group and pop that one with the fastball to chain the bloodsplosion while on the move. Granted, with Krieg, a fastball and a slagga are pretty much all I use.
Edit: This is why I also shed a tear of joy when they fixed the Boll drop with the last patch. Finally a reliable source!!

Found the Firehawk with Zero Prime and did In Memorial(?)- no Fastball though (it was my first try since the patch soā¦). About to go to the Dust to see Ellieā¦
Finally completed TVHM with Maya. Managed to obtain an amazing Brisk Plasma Caster along the way and had the Warrior drop a Tumtum Skullsmasher and Alkaline Impaler (not in the same kill, though. Although, the Tumtum dropped before the moonshot kill, which is interesting). Farmed Hunter Hellquist for a The Bee and got a few. Was hoping for an Inflammable The Bee but I suppose it wasnāt meant to be. Regardless, a few more loot midget farming runs and maybe some Savage Lee runs and I should be more than prepared for UVHM!
Did 3 Digistruct runs at OP8. Results as follows:
- Sal - completed, got a non-elemental Avenger.
- Sal - Completedā¦ Or not. Killed OMGWTH, but an explosion dropped me after he died. /sigh
- Maya - completed, got a fire Butcher
Then did LLM runs with Sal and Maya, alternating. Nothing of note dropped, but my last run got me a midget that wouldnāt go below 90% health. He killed Sal 3 times. I could not drop him. Iāve never seen this before, or had trouble with loot midgets unless I screwed up. Wtf.
Unslaggable midget? Sometimes if you try to slag them too soon they become impossible to slag, and loot midgets have some intense damage resist.

Did a Southpaw run, trying to get OP8 Emperors. First Assassin drops an Emperor! ā¦ non-elemental Stoic Emperor, OP7. Ugh. SECOND ASSASSIN DROPS AN EMPEROR!!! ā¦ non-elemental Stoic Emperorā¦ OP7.
This put me over the edge. I laughed like a madman.

Just getting back into it on my Xbone after a year or so off, but enjoying the new drop rates
Last night running my new maya I had a slag deliverance and a fire bee grenade both drop in WEP, kept me up despite having to work this morning so I could get the levels to use them lol
And Cloud Kill is ridiculous, I kept one shotting the loaders I was trying to wound to get to the BW fight.
Finished off the search for the Firehawk and Cult Following with Zero Prime- got an Inflammable FotF on the first try. Now off to rescue Rolandā¦

Got my Maya from 25 to 30 in a single session.
Played in co-op with @Angelripper and worked on my JakobsGaige aswell.
