You’re doing way better than I would be!
Naaahhhh. The Peak favors familiarity. I just run it a lot.
Do you actually need to be on the shed roof before you jump for that?
Apparently not!
But you still do it right? It’s like not picking the onions - why on earth wouldn’t you?
Dahl Commando rolled Sanctuary, picked up the Safe and Sound mission, and eventually wound up in Caustic Caverns. The Lascaux is great against Crystalisks, and let me get the Harchek’s Revenge challenge.
After doing the math, I am no longer astonished by Maya’s super-fast blimp kill. Short version - the Bee is insanely powerful. Which we all know, I just hadn’t seen the results so dramatically before.
The Krieg TVHM blimp fight a while back was mostly firing from the elevator as many people do, running out for ammo resupply or getting a better angle. I don’t recall ever being in danger of dying, it just took forever. He did try using one of the turrets, which was nice for the few seconds before it was destroyed.
Tonight, Zero did A Train to Catch (minus turning it in). His squishiness continues to annoy me. Health regen skills at tier 4, argh! There’s a reason he’s my last character… No real difficulty doing Tundra Express or killing Wilhelm though the latter was something approaching a “normal” fight rather than the cakewalks Sal and Gaige had. Now level 15, and I can finally start vendoring some of the guns I’ve been passing down from one character to the next. More bank space!
Then Maya did a couple rounds of Fink’s slaughterhouse, working towards the Hail.
Lord of Death finished Where Angels Fear To Tread, became the Bearer of Bad News and helped Doc Zed collect some animal parts, which allowed him to reach level 71 (he also got another L. Killer from a tubby skag with better critical damage bonus than his current one). Will now pick up the various side quests in Eridium Blight and save the quest reward quests in Sanctuary for level 72…
Once my 5th Maya reached 72 I decided to turn her into my main Vermiverous farming monster hunter. After all the testing i did a couple of years ago, i’m using the Blockade with Leg Siren and SotA to max the shield size and recharges. Takes a few hits from Badass varkids, it’s simply the best shield.
Doing this solo if obviously harder than previous 4P glitch, but it’s still doable. Caustic Caverns is now my No1 place for doing it, because the Crystalisks allow you easy kills and give you a breather whilst evolving.
Try and only allow 1 Crystalisk to be present, wipe the others out using a Ladyfist. Once Vermi attacks the Crystalisk, it allows you to pick your place away from him and exterminate…
If any Siren nOObs are interested in the build and items used, let me know and i’ll put a guide up in Maya’s forum.
…I love it at 54secs as she shrieks, “That’s a Badass!”
After leveling Zorg (Gunzerker) to 57. Spent almost a week to reset it’s BAR challenges. That’s what you get when people “help” you level up! … And don’t you dare call me a cheater because I use Normal & TVHM to do it. It’s time consuming enough as it is. Then add an hour or so to mopped up remaining challenges close to leveling up. (Ok, you can call me on these!
)
Next step; Leveling Tiny Tatas (Mechromancer) from 37 to 47. Should be a walk in the park.
Went to the Torgue Arena to finish the DLC story and I can’t kill the ! Nothing I have seems to work and I can’t get a second wind if I go down as the SoB rarely fires the nukes when you need them!
If stuck, cheese it from behind the concrete barrier; use explosive weaponry, and try and hit the barrels on it whenever you get a chance. Duck back out under the door to recharge shields and avoid massive rocket attacks. Don’t back up too far though - you won’t be able to make it to the vending machines without a health reset.
I know to cheese him but I kinda want to take him down legit if possible!
Swordsplosion on any character should do major damage- Sal, Krieg and Axton can bring their own particular set of skills to bear for even more fun…

Hey! I was running out of inspiration!
Third night in with 12-Gaige (place-holder name until I become wittier - don’t hold your breath). I am slowly getting the hang of it. Point of pride : I haven’t reloaded unintentionally once. I’ve got to figure out Discord a bit though.
She’s soon to bump 66 - I’ve got a no capstone general build that seems to work ok. I basically just avoided the skills that suck and it kind of built itself. Capped Anarchy @ 250 for now.
Did some gear collection last night and then tonight tore down to take care of the last mission : Terra. Well, I died a few times, cause that’s what I do best, but took him out on the 4th or 5th go. Then back to Tannis
(side note - both of my Maya’s sport the Tannis head - I seem to have this thing).
Now with no missions ( including the DLC’s ), I’m faced with a full reset ; or doing stupid things like Vorac. Anyways, I’m sticking with her until 72. Looks like Zero’s going to wait a while longer.
Didn’t have much time to play BL2 tonight. Sal visited Eridium Blight, did several map challenges and Jack’s side quests, reaching level 26. Apparently my equipment storage for this level range is not very good. Quite a few excellent corrosive options since this is when past characters hit BNK3R, but not a lot for flesh enemies. Sal’s making do with a purple NE Hyperion SMG for now.
Then I did round 3 at Fink’s with Maya. Will finish the last rounds tomorrow.
Lord of Death did the side quests in Eridium Blight (save for dueling Mal) and didn’t quite reach level 72 but did get a Big Badaboom from King Mong. After scouring the area for more XP I did a save and reload and hit the usual route of loot train, The Dust and Three Horns Valley and finally hit level 72- also collected a L. Nurse, slag Deep Veruc and L. Engineer along the way. Will now take the rest of the Sanctuary side quests and finish those off before visiting Quano Grotto… @Jefe- I too have a 12 Gaige, except I spell it 2x6 Gaige
).
Finally got past OP4. Now, time to restart my file and play through Captain Scarlett’s DLC and to the Lady Fist.
I also got my Axton to level 42. Slow and steady.
Finished off NVHM with Maya, farmed the Warrior for Eridium.
Started TVHM, and TTAODK on the same play through, currently on the Mines of Avarice (I think that’s the Unreal Tournament map, actually, but you get where I am) quest. Gonna leave it here so I can come back when I’ve finished TVHM so I can pick up the Magic Missile for UVHM.
Currently on A Dam Fine Rescue, so I’ve got a while to go.
Also been addicted to the slot machines in TTAODK, I want that pearl dammit!
