Got Maya to OP3 solo. The Flakker did it’s job nicely.

Thank you very much! Despite the fact that it’s slag, I’ve been finding excuses to use it. Varkids beware!!!

Right before I read that post, I had just been experimenting with the start and bot phases, using a Hornet for the bots. That worked pretty well. Good punch while saving SMG ammo. What I hadn’t tried yet was an AR. Your post reminded me that I pulled a corrosive Severe Shredifier with Maya a few days ago, and because Seraph items are so bad, I’m going to look at a corrosive Lead Storm for the bots, as well.
In the meantime, I’ve refined things a bit and got 4 more kills. Evolution, incendiary Tattler, Retcher, Retcher. Very happy with the fire Tattler. It’ll go to Maya.
Right now, I really want to work on getting more damage in before the bots.

Reached Bloodshot Dam with Axton on his OP8 run. Beat Master Gee with Sal (on OP0, truth to tell- I hate that fight
). Now just have to do the Tresure of the Sands again to get the achievement for the Capt Scarlett dlc and I’ll have them all for this game…

Managed to just scrape Zer0 through to OP3 legitimately (last time I used the Rising Shot stacking glitch and wouldn’t let myself move up to OP3 before I did it properly). I did struggle a lot though, especially with the surveyors. I got downed at the end by Assassin Reeth and had about half a second left of my FFYL timer when I finally downed him with the DPUH. I definitely need to rethink my strategy and build when I eventually try an OP3 build
I also started another 1Life Zer0 a couple of days ago and have just managed to get him through to the start of Bloodshot Stronghold, going to try and make my way through there this afternoon.

I’m having the same problem running Axton to op3. Those surveyors are wrecking me. I need to find an elemental bee that makes me immune to shock.
I say bee, because I did try my level 71 transformer that is shock immune, but I was running out of bullets and it was taking forever to kill things. Plus skags and spiderants don’t shoot bullets so I’m not gaining anything by wearing the transformer.
I’ll try again soon though. That’s what we do

From my past experience, the best thing to use against the surveyors is the fastball. due to recent patching, boll actually drops it now.

My shock butcher makes quick work of them.

Actually get your system down and you dont NEED to pre-damage him. If it works at op8, it will work everwyere else. But, it is nice to have the head start. I usually end up waiting out a downcycle on the last minion because Hype is about to start jumping, and I dont want that before I’m ready.
My predamage is this: turret, immediately slag crossfire, beehawk in face til he healthgates me with novas. Run away and start circling. I can get him maybe 10 -12% if it goes well. But I can do him without the headstart, also.
Oh, and I use a corrosive shreddifier, which i consider a high-end spinigun, and it works very well on the minions. I only use the pimp when the ar ammo is gone.

I have it down at this point. I’m making the reads, managing turrets well, managing space well, etc. My focus now is just speeding it up. The Shredifier definitely helps in the early going. I like the Pimp for the last minion because I have a good feel for how much damage I’m doing with it, so I can often drop turrets by Hype one shot before his shield drops.
We’re basically doing the same pre-bot phase. Works well. I just want to see if I can reduce my overall time. Granted, it’s very fast once I get to the last bot.

I used Double Up + Gemini, used my turrets to draw aggro from ground enemies, and used a Hornet to kill surveyors. No grounded shield, just a lot of jumping! Lol

Holy hell last night was a good loot night. Did a few runs on the train with Sal then Maya and got the following:
Tediore Allegiance Relic with mag size and damage (didn’t really neeed this, but now I am thinking of making a tediore build out of it)
Tumtum Skullmasher
Trickshot Maggie
a new Bee
Corrosive Lyuda
a new, shiny Jakobs Quad
a NE Stalker
A handful of leg mods for Sal and Krieg that I didn’t need
That was about five runs each per toon,
Then took a jaunt through frostburn, got two tubbies. One dropped a crappy cat mod that has worse stats than the level 63 one I use from time to time, but the other provided me with my very first leg Binder.
Tis a fine Mercenary Day season indeed.

I have been doing that pretty much. I think I really just need to be more aggressive and not So laid back (for a lack of a better term). A lot of it is poor timing on my part . I have been trying to farm an op2 DPUH or hard Harold. Mine is level 71 and I fear it’s not doing it’s job for op3 battle.

It may be the opposite. Instead of being more aggressive, maybe try slowing the fight down. I like to get the turrets down and then get the surveyors to follow me away from ground enemies. Whether that’s falling back to a previous area, breaking line of sight, etc, the idea that works for me is reducing the number of enemies who are able to reach me.
Using the double Scorch + 4 surveyors spawn as an example, I drop turrets to get the attention of the Scorches, then turn and run a little to make space. That puts the Scorches far from me, and gets the surveyors coming at me from 1 direction, which makes it easier to manage them. I find it easy (now, after practice) to kite the Scorches while I clear the surveyors.

Hmmm, I like the sound of that. I’ll pull back and pick them off. I’ll give that a whirl next time I get on (hopefully tonight)

Made it from just after Flynt to entering Wildlife Exploitation (TVHM) in 2.5 hours on my Krieg. Next session I hope to get to the Warrior or beyond. I feel very confident in my grasp of Krieg’s abilities and playstyle, and look forward to taking him into UVHM.

Was doing a co-op one-life with a buddy of mine. Got through the Dust at lvl 12, and were heading back to Bloodshot Stronghold, when my friend decided he was going to slow, hit turbo on his vehicle and drove right off the cliff.
On the other hand, our new lvl 5 characters are doing OK so far.

With my OP2 Axton I found a Thunderball Fists made short work of the Surveyors, especially with the Bee

I think I may actually have an OP2 one on one of my characters, I’ll have to give it to Axton and see how he gets on with it when I take him through the peak tomorrow.
