How are you ever going to play BL2 again after witnessing the greatest thing it could ever produce?
If anyone ever dares ask me why I love BL so much, I will send them that image with the knowledge that if they don’t appreciate it, I most likely do not wish to continue contact with them.
I’m not sure I can continue adding to this thread after @xmngr’s Chubby Midget Moment… surely all further reporting of life in the borderlands has been rendered mute and unnecessary? Nonetheless, I shall try to go on!
Did some good work with my ‘green and white only’ Axton. His name is Pádraig Pearse, because of course his use of those two colours gives him a partial resemblance to the Irish flag. That could technically allow for orange - legendaries - as well, but it suggests an unrealistic level of wealth 
My game doesn’t seem to be appreciating this restriction, however, because since beginning I’ve had a spectacular number of legendary drops, including in a vendor… Will post some pics on the Item Finds page. Thank goodness for Claptrap’s stash.
Element Zero is determines not to advance until he gets a slag Evisceration Rubi so I started Reverend Pain in UVHM and just reached the area where you get to see a midget ride a bullymong- not as great a sight as a tubby bandit on a midget Goliath but hey, it’s still early…
That thing took me 4 hours to get.

Lol, nonsense, you were a credit to team! And you’re always guaranteed to get the good loot playing with that character
I’ll see how it goes past NVHM, but so far I haven’t found an immense loss without rare items… green and whites are often weaker but there are a lot more of them so you’re inventory is constantly being updated. It’s quite refreshing to “get creative” and not rely on those wonderful uniques.

Finished off Midgemong with Reverend Pain and am about to start the long trek to see Capt Flynt- as opposed to the short jaunt to see Star Trek from the collection I got as a gift…

OK so not the biggest deal, but I did it in about 15 minutes… Also still on, going to try for better DPUH, RL, Bee, exp relic, Gunzerker Com.
Cleaned up some missions with axton today, then headed over to the peak to try some things and possibly get op2. Gears a little lacking so wasn’t too determined. Got slammed around way more than I should have. The struggle is real.
Got Reverend Pain to Sanctuary and found a level 53 Thrusting Unkempt Harold int the car trunk-chest of the camp where you retrieve the power core. Floundered in my attempt at taking down terra with Memeemee and failed yet again to get a slag Evisceration Rubi with Element Zero. Will try for another ROM with Liae today and maybe take another shot at a HoT with Fero…
Put some time into Axton and Sal yesterday, put a level on each of them. Nothing too exciting.
Had a really good run through Bloodshot Stronghold with my Leatherneck build. Uploaded the results to youtube afterwards with a few rookie mistakes but otherwise I am happy with it.
Did another UVHM run as Melee Zer0 for the 1,005th time. Did some shenanigans with Nurse Maya (it actually works surprisingly well in solo play. I don’t even need to use moxie weapons.). Thought about playing literally any other character. Didn’t. I also found a Logan’s gun in a chest but immediately threw it off the nearest cliff before I saved a screenshot.
I love using legendary nurse in solo play, especially with the rough rider. It’s not my usual build but it’s a nice change and great to not rely on Moxxi weapons.
Finished off all the side missions leading up to visiting the Firehawk for Reverend Pain and broke the mold on my usual play style by visiting the loot train- got a level 54 L. Hunter from it, so when Element Zero finally stops goofing around and gets his slag Evisceration Rubi he’ll have a nice orange jacket to wear (he’s only level 51 now at the end of TVHM…).
Got Sal to OP5! I think I need new FotF, DPUH, and Derp too, before I go further. Or maybe just the FotF its level 72…
Started doing runs through Bloodshot Stronghold for a video for my Maya build. First one went well but I might try a couple more before ultimately succumbing to the Lazy Side and uploading the decent run I have so far.
Took axton from OP2 - OP5 today solo. Pretty productive day. Really want to finish it up asap and start to rebuild my inventory!
