That’s a keeper! Try it instead of the Monk - the extra speed is fantastic. Also, its boost to Hard to Kill makes passive healing with the Rough Rider or Evo/Neo extremely good.

My max stats list claims it should be 974638.

So I just went to farm a new Flesh Crunch COM and Explosive relic for Krieg, did it with Sal. No luck yet but I just got two legendaries and three e-techs in one train… Wow. Today is the day to farm I think!

I will definitely do this. I’ve also been looking at your Striker build. I like the idea of using mostly Jakobs and am trying to ween off Moxxi. I really like the idea of a Triquetra/ROM combo but I’ll have to do a reset to get an OP8 Triquetra.

Looks like a bit of farming is in my near future.

@Jefe i’m curious about trying alternative versions of the Deputy Sal build, as it stands I just use the standard Grog+ROM with the Evil Monk… I’ve never used the Legendary Berserker COM I think maybe ever but i’d be curious about trying it out and maybe dropping the Moxxi stuff… Please advise :slight_smile:

The pure build starts to falter after OP4, but those runs I did with kbk were obviously OP8 (with Triquetra & ROM). The purple Neutral Evil Monk is the one to get for the intense stuff.

This is the spec for my Striker build to go with either the Leg Berserker OR a purple Neutral Evil Monk. The former for better survivability (from better passive healing from Hard2Kill ; and from increased speed) ; the latter for DPS (although having Asbestos at 4/5+ and Sexy T at 8/5+ is pretty remarkable). The extra speed from the L/B makes a huge difference in playstyle.
(The points in Huckleberry are for dual Maggies- move to L&L for shotguns).

It doesn’t have to be Neutral Evil, but Neutral maximizes the right hand to ensure maximum M$.

Brawn gives enough healing that you can ditch Moxxi. This means two shotguns for max DPS. The best balance between mag size, ammo consumption, accuracy (crit potential) and DPS is the Triquetra and ROM. A Quad or Bushwack could sub for the Triquetra in a pinch. And a Coach or Striker can sub for the ROM.

Slag can either come from grenades (low level MMs or whatever) or you can use a Pimp or Slagga in slot three. kbk uses the Slagga but I find the Pimp to be more reliable (plus it should boost crit a bit more). A great combo turned out to be : Triquetra / ROM / Pimp / Twister. The Twister was handy for its penetration gimmick for Nomads and the like.

If it wasn’t obvious, only a Rough Rider or Evo can be used. Preferably RR but I use the Evo in heavy elemental areas.

Triquetra would have been something i’d have used, although I do also have an OP8 Striker, guess I could mess around. I’m going to try this later, thanks for the info!

Been a few days since reporting on Ymir’s progress.

He’s now at level 49 and has just gotten to Arid Nexus. After getting that save point to Eridian Blight, he proceeded to farm Mong for a new B-Boom. His extreme stinginess resulted in me gaining 1.4 levels just on him alone! Anyways, got B-boom.

Backtracking a bit, he sprinted through Clan Wars to farm a Slagga (at lvl 43). Settled on an Akurate with matching grip and Dahl stock - although I’ll get him a bladed one once level 50 somes around.

He’s been running a melee build most of the time but respec’d for Bore for Slappy and the Bunker (for XP farming).

Remember I said the game doesn’t have axes fit for a dwarf/goblin/orc? Well this is straight outta LotR. I actually would have liked a Bandit ot Torgue stock for a slightly more badass look, but I’ll take it.

A Bone Shredder will be coming up very soon but once he gets to 50 he can get a Tattler from another character - and possibly a Punchee too - but may just refarm the Order.

I should try the COM again. Using purple NE Monk now since I had difficult time adjusting to the massive speed increase while Gunzerking with Legendary Berserker.

Should look for a Rough Rider as well.

Also i’ve never used the Infection before but randomly on the way to farm a new Rough Rider I noticed this in the machine, damage prefix and matching grip. Bought it anyway, is it any good?

I liked it at levels 30 and 50 for Hellborn Krieg. The DOT was good for Elemental Empathy heals. I don’t know about any other toons or levels though. I plan on getting one at 72 when NightOnKriegMT gets there. I’ll report back when I have more information.

Farmed up a Rough Rider, from an exceptionally tight Bulwark. 25 runs to get two Rough Riders, the best of which being this one.

It’ll do for now, it gets very boring farming that!

Didn’t had much time to play lately. End of session. Piston still found enough time to kick my rear a Few times. Wasn’t to happy about it. Either I killed myself from behind the concrete block with thee Kerblaster. Or it was plain old bad timing. Tried it “out in the open” once with a Ruby and Fastballs. Was a little better but thrown too many balls and these dont regenerate. :expressionless:
Ammo are running scarce too. The Kerb is a beast to feed. Tried a purple Spitter I just found. Fire rate start too slow for too long for BARex movements.

Stinkpot? Why not? Not too shabby base damage. Doesn’t crit :face_with_raised_eyebrow: but the Kerblaster isn’t optimal with a Bee either… And not looking for DPS if I am to cheat the cheater. Tested the dmg/ammo. Seem fair compared to the Kerblaster. Trying to forget I already know the Kerb came too short…
So I tried it.
Was working fine. Definitely much safer to use behind a wall ! (I have to thank’s my beautiful(s) once again. ) These girls are the hidden Bee BFF. Pair the twins with a Phalanx Shield and they’ll give their cousin a good time! I mean… :blush: buy their cousin some time…

And yes. Reality is something you c’ant (always) escape.The ammo thing… I found an “alternative” before. I should have one now. Now I’m just waiting for @Kuolemanlaakso meme…

Felt safer from behind the wall and the DPS ! :laughing: By the time I spent thinking maybe I should just go in the arena and end this faster. BARex red bar reached it’s end.
Now I know I can farm a Slowhand. At level :slight_smile: Worst case scenario I have a fully loaded Kerblaster to mop up what’s left. :joy:

Just swapped a yellow jacket with matching hyperion grip to my mechro. I do believe in the LBT tree so to speak. Also got a freshly farmed shock deliverance (extra large), a chained lightning, a black hole, a stormfront (lobbed 0.7), and not to mention a DVA Stalker. So we shall see indeed. I think a Twister run is in order. I also got a longbow acid bonny. Cool.
