OP7 is the hardest run, that’s why  OP8 has random spawns, that can match the difficulty of OP7, but it’s unlikely you’ll get all those bad spawns at once.

Maytastrophe took the beginners stroll on the Peak this morning.

It was kind of pleasant, strolling along, the scent of digistructed blood on the mountain breeze. She said something about getting a vacation home there, but I convinced her to wait until she gets to know the area and its residents better. Kriegtopher will have a look around tomorrow morning.

Lord of Death got basically the same spawns as before on his quest to do an official OP8 peak run- and met the same demise, at the hands (or rather guns) of Doc Mercy. The Doc kind of surprised me when one of them lept to the top of the small blockhouse- it was a move that I totally didn’t expect, which threw off my plans of catching them with a couple of Quasars into a tight enough grouping to try to B0re… Oh well, another chance will be made later. Also, started another mule- a Sal named Big Salle- thru normal and have reached WEP with Doctor’s Orders active. He’s a bit lower level than the other mules I’ve run so far so he might actually struggle against higher level enemies- we shall see…

Yes, I learned this lesson the hard way too! I also had never seen Saturn jump on top of one of the small blockhouses until a very recent OP8 run I did with Sal!

Dr. Colt and Huckleberry (Maliwan), the Sirens, finished Lynchwood, killed Bunker, and rescued Angel in NVHM. That was a long Bunker fight.

Did some mobbing with Zer0 and the god finger for ■■■■■ and giggles and my god it’s ■■■■■■■ horrible with my play style I have not had ammo and nade issues like that in a while but I’m sure if I made some adjustments it would be a lot better

Finished Bandit Slaughter round 2 with 13/15 critical kills. Now I want to reset it

Those don’t matter. You get literally nothing for doing them :stuck_out_tongue:

Question: the Coach Gun almost always fires twice (the second shot with terrible recoil) while I only pull trigger once - is this fixable?

Trying to make it more challenging :stuck_out_tongue: (EDIT: the ironic thing is, now I have difficulty passing round 3) But the game doesn’t recognize some of my critical hits, even when enemies died with CRITICAL :unamused:

I can not for the life of me figure out why this is occurring unless you’re playing Zer0 and have Two Fang max’d.

I’m using Xbox One controller on PC. Would this be the cause?

Yeah sometimes the controller goes nuts.

Finished Bandit Slaughter round 5 with 20/50 critical kills (video still uploading). It got very ugly when a group of rats rushed to me (worse than rabid skags, I think). Thankfully I were not hit by any rockets :yum:

Today Krieg continued clearing side quests at OP4, since the peak solo will be a mess and i need to wait for my Maya partner before blazing it up properly. :sunny:

Going through Monster Mash Pt 1 and 2 was pretty quick. A jump at Eridium Blight led to an encounter with mr. King Mong but he dropped nothing i’ve been farming him for (namely the NONONO skin and a Baddaboom).

I decided, after my 280hrs of Krieging on PC, to accept for once to help Mal becoming human. Being under Hyperion Contract mr. K fended off bandits with fireballs and Minecraft blocks, shock from his Storm Front world drop, and some corrosive peppered here & there. The limbs and clothes went on Mal like a glove (with the hand still inside it).

Fighting Mal was easy (thanks world drop Gub), and he offered his Fibber. The issue was, i KNEW Krieg needed the shotgun barrel, but i had NO IDEA what it looked like.
Hence i decided to chance on the Hot Button Fibber Mal offered.
Fired it out and… that was the right barrel!

Then Hiro went of for more BBQ defending Slab Tower, but two failed attempts made it clear: he had to take a break.

Next is Starting the War at the dust, and off to Sawtooth Cauldron to capture flags and advance to Toil and Trouble we’ll go!

Note: @Kuolemanlaakso gotta love these Flak memes

Salvadorable continued the hunt for eridium, which was very successful.

Zer0Danger transferred a bunch of heads and skins to the official heads and skins mule, and acquired some extra level 50 items from said mule (Love Thumper and an Unkempt Harold)

MayaHelpYou bumped off a body double and literally stole his face and voice, melting copious numbers of bots, constructors, and engineers along the way. Made it back to Sanctuary and sent Clappy on ahead for the next part of the mission, then also partook of gear shuffling.

Now if only my spread sheet software didn’t keep crashing on me, I could update my notes and advertise my spare gear!

Continued to mop up quests/map exploration in Hammerlock’s DLC and nearly there. Just some elusive creatures that refuse to spawn now. After that I just need to do the side missions for the Torgue DLC and finally get that last achievement!

After that it’s time for DAHLvador. Probably Monday before I pick him up again - kinda intense combat!

Killed Pete at OP6 in a not-so-cheesy-way with BeeHawk + Leg. Cat :yum: This is my first successful UVHM raid boss kill without using any glitch. Basically I was running circles around this scaffold to avoid his novas (still got caught a few times):

Then I just dropped down to OP0 for quick crystal farming - 3 minutes for 10 crystals, not too bad…

First (failed) attempt at Dukino’s Mom: hip-firing Hail is OK, but my shield is constantly depleted and I couldn’t heal fast enough (EDIT: no, the problem was the pacing)…And she cannot be slagged?

Nope. Best method with her solo is Bee + Corrosive Lady FIst, aim at her mouth walking backwards, kite her around the rock. Have a chain lightning and Grog for if she uses the shock balls, to stay alive through it.

Here’s my OP6 run from a while ago, i’ve linked you to the Dukino’s Mom part

I’m in no way a great player but it works, as you’ll see
