Onya bloke  I was just about to do that  , but seeing as it’s your thread i guess that’s cool

Anyway, here he is at beautiful Wam Bam Island, so if you run out of Rid Rock you can go here for free and you might get lucky, but the Dexi method is faster for sure, and farming the Dragons will solve the Eridium prob :+1:

Just run back to the fast travel and travel anywhere and back straight away to level down the Badass Savages.

Hattie has pointed you in the right direction there :point_up_2::point_up_2: , and count me in :ok_hand:

I’m available today as I type this.

Add Adabiviak on Steam. May I ask where you’re calling from? (It’ll make it easier to figure out who should be host). I take it you have the Hammerlock DLC?

LOL, I would love to but I haven’t received it yet. It will be a glorious post, when it happens. Make no mistake, you will see a pic of the gorgeous cursed Shotty.

I took Samael from level 7 today up to level 19. Did a couple of side quests, didn’t get much on my way through but got these.

For Omnd Omnd Ohk, I don’t think you need a party for that? I farmed him solo in Low Gut Rut… took some time, but trying to choreograph four people in and out of a map will add a ton of overhead, no? Dexiduous’ pre-mob has higher chances, but the setup time (and Eridium cost) is rather steep.

Salvester went in search of a new playmate this morning. Some kind of Motorized Momma or something. He chewed on some power cables and swatted some switches with blinky lights until the door opened. While he was running g around the area she had set up for him he found out that he was more than a playmate to her, he was supposed to be dinner too. The strong survival instincts of an animated feline kicked in, and he proceeded to scratch, claw, and kick until she was done. On his way to get a new flying toy he found the door locked, so he did what any respectable cat would do, broke in to the office and stole the key. Upon reaching the Forge he got powerful lazy incredibly quick, so he curled up there for a nap.

Day 24 - Salvador maxed out his pack space, huzzah. Space always gets more important, especially when he inherits a bank full of level 50 starter gear from Axton, Zer0, Krieg, and Maya.

I’m noting an annoying habit of him zerking but not reloading his gun once it’s empty. It just sits there for several seconds of me wondering what the hell is going on.

Anyway. Salv starts promptly on UVHM after a quick stash shuffle (my gunmule also now has nearly all his bank space - thanks leprechaun), and charges up to Flynt, who drops Zer0’s rare skin. (Two down, four to go…) Sal continues to the Bloodshot Stronghold, his trusty fire Veruc making quick work of everything, and running him ever closer to Crouching Tiger. …and Skills to Pay the Bills, finally, in UVHM, I’m sheepish to say. Speaking of Crouching: about 1400 to go.

It’s a bug within Inconceivable. You either have to work around it or spec into F2tB instead.

My Future Deputy continues his trek through TVHM. Making his way through Tundra Express when a loot midget dropped this while collecting some fine booty for some stuffed bunnies:

Torgue grip with a Tediore TV on top! Ugly sight notwithstanding, it’s gonna let me plow through the next few levels (indeed it obliterated Wilhelm as could be expected.) A little throwback to the same old Sal DPUH (paired with a low level slag Rubi from NVHM in this case) play for the time being.

I never knew that. It really made me not want to play the character. I might play Sal again.

Anyways. Worked on the beloved Siren again today. Really started to feel the warm fuzzy feeling this game brought to me in the good o’ days again. Got a Homing Fireburst from a loot midget and did a couple things, killed Bunker and got didly squat. The Lyuda (Corrosive) melts him. Never used it on him, but glad I did.

Really liking the game again. Feel good about it

I think you should. There are very good ways to make him not broken - it’s way more fun to build him to be challenging.

My Sal ( I have my build posted in the Sal thread , for some shameless self-promotion ) uses no healing source other than the Brawn tree. This makes for a very in-the-moment play style that I like.

I used to scoff at Sal, but he’s in my top three now.

Is it a bug or working as intended? I thought it did that with guns that aren’t automatic, like Jakobs, Dahl other than Lascaux, and any gun where the player follows the advice of Cpl. Hicks and fires short controlled bursts. Or put another way, that Inconceivable only causes a reload when the player is holding the trigger down on a gun where that means something.

I second Jefe’s encouragement. Deputy Sal is awesome! :cowboy_hat_face:

Salvester has this problem too. As @Jefe said, it’s Inconceivable getting up to shenanigans on the last round in the clip. But Salvester loves the sound of impossibly long Money Shot chains (which is the reason I spec Inconceivable), and I do like to keep him happy. He only has this issue when he takes his finger off the trigger during those glorious moments. If he takes his finger of the trigger before the chain ends he has to reload manually, but if he fires until the chain ends the automatic reload does its job.

A bit of both probably - however, it can occur with automatic guns. A bit of searching found this from my bros @Kurtdawg13 :

and @DeputyChuck

( Edit - I just restated what @paulothead just said! oops - sorry! )

Yes, but you did me one better and provided the citations I was too lazy to dig up. :+1: for due diligence and academic integrity!

Tried out subsequence again, took Maya to do the next mission in opportujnity and was reminded why I usually sprint through it. Jack’s double got away from first attack because of all the turrets on the walls, then I got caught in an area with basically infinitely respawning War Loaders. Eventually found the double again who was frozen back at the first place, cleaned it up and on to the bunker. Not a fan of SS still, when it worked it was great, but I hated giving up so much healing and scorn. May have to throw on the grog or rubi for the healing and slag but I hate using a slag gun or moxxi weapons for most Maya play- feels like a waste of her awesome skill trees. Bunker and the fight up shouldn’t be too much of a problem, but it feels like more work. I want to like SS for a change of pace playstyle, are there any maps where it shines?

Tried some more sniper Zero and did so poorly in Southpaw I was reminded again why I gave it up before. Went back to stabbing my way through maps- hit up the badlands a couple times then went back to the dust. Double tubbies in a run and one another time. Dropped OP6 L Sniper com, decent stat boosts but probably not worth the extra shield penalty. A 63% OP8 L Ninja com to replace my lvl 63 one at 54%, that 9 percent is cool to have I guess, even though it doesn’t make any real difference.

Then learned that you can toss skins on the altar in Tina’s DLC so got rid of some maliwan elegance skins which eventually netted me my first fire storm. I’ve heard it’s good for Krieg, and with all his coms I’ve had drop, it’s almost like the game is trying to convince me to start a psycho. Have too far to take my other characters though- need to get back to Axton (normal) and get him through TVHM before I start anyone else
