Anywhere without surveyors and threshers! ( seriously though, any mobbing map, slaughter rounds, all the Headhunters )
With a Legendary Binder ( really the mandatory SS COM ), you get a minimum 6/5 for Sweet Release - which gives gobs of healing ( and there’s easily points available for Elated if you need more ).
Because of the constant Ruin / Converge, I find I rarely need more slag.
However, my standard setup includes a Hail or Heartbreaker and a slag Pimp ( still does lots of damage, and great with Chain Reaction ). That way you can supplement slag & healing without losing damage output. I never use a Grog / Rubi.

Tonight’s visit to Pandora had Krieg pushing through the Immortal Woods. As expected, the dragon fight was tedious and super-annoying.
The four kings were no picnic either. One death at the start, with just the king and a skeletaur around, so there was nothing to second wind off of. Then it went OK-ish for a while, bloodsploding the first three kings with the assorted non-skeletaur riff-raff. But when the riff-raff ran out, the fourth king was kind of a pain. The fight ended with a second wind on the last flying head, with just a fraction of a second left on the FFYL timer.
But he’s opened up the Mines of Avarice, so next time I play him he’ll finally get his Grog, and I can see if I can finally take out Vora.

I’ve not uploaded gameplay for a while so here’s Samael’s run through WEP. Including one death
Skip to 1:21 for the start, I forgot to edit that out and can’t be bothered reuploading it
And for the eagle eyed ones among you, yes he does have $30m on Normal, I transferred over various OP gear that I didn’t want to give him some starting capital for his venture into murder!
Edit: Also ran into this guy on the next part.

Thirded! This is what I’m aiming for eventually once he hits 72 and has some good Deputy gear waiting for him. In the meantime, it’s all found gear which I like doing with Sal because of interesting gunzerk combos I can try out on the fly as random new gear pops up. For example, a really nice blue Hyperion shotgun with high-ish accuracy dropped, and I pulled out the low-level Ladyfist I got from NVHM to add its crit bonus to it. Wow, such ouch.

You just earned some bonus points with me, good sir!
I like this sentence too much. lol
Edit:
@SomeRandomGuy11 and @bew_ have these hilarious vids of them RAID’ing with vehicles. So funny to watch them try to maneuver to get in to some of the tight spots, like Terri’s narrow walkway. I was cracking up as they inched their way in. It’s obviously UCP shenanigans. good viewing…

Just wanted to clarify, the Bad Touch is a once-per-character weapon right? I ask because Samael could do with a decent corrosive weapon, about to go to Opportunity. I always get one in NVHM, since it’s less necessary after that (more corrosive options later plus stuff I can farm). It’s been a while though, wanted to make sure i’m right.

Affirmative.
The Good Touch is always available. Pretty annoying, huh?

It is somewhat irritating, yes. Oh well, it’ll solve my immediate problem at least
Edit: Only had to reload once for an acceptable one

It’s supposed to be, but when this was discussed at length a year or two ago, this appeared to depend on the platform. Some have reported getting one per play-through on the same save. I know on 360 it’s definitely one per save, so to get ones at multiple levels you need to pass them down from one character to another.

Interesting that there are variables between platform. I could have sworn that in the early days on 360, you could get one per playthrough, but maybe they changed it. Anyway, it’s probably best obtained in Normal anyway, since there are far superior alternatives in TVHM and UVHM. A perfect NVHM corrosive weapon.
It wouldn’t surprise me actually if it was designed to give players a decent corrosive weapon in Normal, where they are certainly more scarce than on the next two playthroughs.

That was always my assumption, too. If you haven’t got a decent corrosive before heading into Hyperion territory, it does mean you can get a decent levelled weapon. I’ve always found that both the Good and Bad Touch can be easily out-classed in terms of DPS by other SMGs/Plasma Casters, which is probably deliberate to offset the advantage of health recovery.

Salvester got up and antagonized Flyboy’s boys this morning. The time expired on him 3 times, once he had all the shiny stuff but hadn’t killed the escorts, once he killed the escorts but didn’t have the shiny stuff, and the third time he was just a second too late picking up the last shiny bit. Now it was time to go swatting wildly at Flyboy, except there was a cheater who put a large dirigible in the way. Salvester respawned twice looking for a safe place to plot. After he found the shed on the roof he chipped away at the shield and armor bars with shock and corrosive sniders. Ding, 63! After that slog he went to get a new Harold, because why not. He got 3 fastballs, 1 shock and 2 explosive, before he got his new Harold. Then back to Torgueland to prove his Badass Status is well deserved. Badassasaurus took some time, but got punched in the gut so hard that it coughed up a hairball that looked an awful lot like Piston. Piston went down like every thing else, at a rate of 9.8 m/s/s. He went for some victory tummy rubs from Moxxi at the Badass Crater Bar, and then decided to take a shot at Pete the Invincible. $8 million dollars in respawns later he decided that shock Fastballs and Unkempt Nozzling weren’t going to win that fight for him, and decided to melt a snowman a couple of times to try and feel better about himself. He settled in for a nap at Marcus’s shop. Maybe he’ll try for a new Storm Front before he cleans up some sidequests in Torgueland.

I spent the week farming for a gunerang and avenger, with no luck decided to ask for help with friends on my list. And good thing one has a level 72 fire and shock gunerang and avenger he can spare to me.
Then axton is off to candlecrack to finish off vorac, i can’t seem to get the timing right on using the gunerang, so i put on the bee and use the avenger this time, i used the shock one so that it can kill the chief and not let it transfer the shield to vorac. Use a norfleet to finish him off.
Done for now with Level 72 axton raids, i pick Gaige to start raidiNg with her, but notices that some off the missions did not update when i completed it in coop (no fast forward notice). So i speed run the vanilla game starting from the firehawk, completed the tina dlc starting from the hatred shadows. I need to finish other dlc before i proceed to raids.
Then off to the peak to do some coop with sun_tsunami, got a good run before i called it a day.

Like what? You still can’t farm in TVHM any more than you can in NVHM. As far as I’m concerned, the purpose of the Bad Touch is to be a TVHM corrosive weapon, since my characters generally struggled most in the mid-40s, right when loaders become the main enemies. Not coincidentally, the Bad Touches I’ve been passing down are 43 and 47.
Agreed about it not being valuable in UVHM, since you can just farm a new Hornet whenever you need one. I could get a 72 or OP-whatever Bad Touch now, but I don’t see a good use for it.
I ran into the same issue with Pete when my Sal was in his 60s. Something about the game just doesn’t let you do UVHM raid bosses below 72… For future reference, starting that fight with a Trespasser in one hand saves a lot of time. Any level will do (I use one at 50 from TVHM).

Yeah … yeah it was
I guess that’s the simplest way of looking at it, although neither myself or bew_ had the UCP going, rather just a single “thing”(don’t want to step where i shouldn’t) that allowed this and our games were totally vanilla. Glad a bloke like you could appreciate it for what it was, and it was a huge amount of fun pioneering our way through this to learn the what’s and how’s of it, and then on to the Raiding
