That’s nothing. I come from paper & dices gaming so I use (mainly)… Paper and pens!
I do have a few spreadsheets tho.
I’ll probably go a little more hi-tech with BL3 as my inventory (For which I don’t have any "records. Working on that.) is getting out of hands.
My wish for Borderlands 3? Better inventory management… Which I know won’t happens. Not on consoles anyways.

Haven’t played in months, but all the recent talks got me itching to play again, so i took Axton who months ago had plans to play a build type I’ve never done(full on slag and swap) from killing flynt to rescuing Roland. Farmed a new Harold and fastball before stopping at lvl 54

Let’s just say I’m super rusty and went down/died a lot

As a general rule, I tend to go no further than 35 in Normal with any character. It’d be nice to be prepared for TVHM and squeeze out as much mileage out of Normal as possible but you gotta move up at some point. That’s why unless I really need/want a Legendary after Normal (in my Axton’s case, a Veruc, and a stronger Dahl SMG if possible), I just head up to True.

Sounds somewhat familiar. I don’t quite go to the same lengths, but I did write a custom program for BL2 research purposes once. Since you’re a programmer and there’s a saying about programming languages like “know a few, know 'em all” (because the concepts are usually the same), let’s see if you can figure out what it does and how it does it. :wink:

Did you report it to discourse.org (the platform) or just here? Because I’m not sure to what extent the Discourse folks check the feedback thread here.

I reported it here, codinghorror (a Discourse dev) answered by giving me proper tables (which was what I wanted to achieve back then; I abused the monospace property of code blocks to emulate them before), but clearly ignored the actual bug.

Well, I wrote a lot of commercial software in the '80s in FORTH, so I’m a leg up already here. I’ll look at this when I get home, I’m in a work meeting now. Yes, I look at the forums when someone is droning on without any end in sight during meetings.

over the past few months in which I’ve been absent from the forums I’ve gotten everyone to op8 except for kreig and gaige. I’m thinking of taking gaige next, not sure. She’s at 44 and kreig’s at op2. we’ll see if I get anywhere with the goty edition of borderlands 1 coming this thrusday

Did all the side missions/ locations for Scarlett’s DLC. And i gotta say, i will never step foot in it again. Never liked that DLC at all. Was always get my Pimpernell and get the hell out. This past session of trophy hunting just furthered my hate for this DLC. The Sandskiffs… Who’s idea were those?? Hate the environments, the humor is in bad taste throughout the DLC imo. By FAR the worst DLC i’ve played in any BL’s. Okay not by far, Campaign of Carnage is pretty close.

Okay sorry had to rant. HAAAAAAAAAAATE IT

I quite enjoy driving them, but the weapons on them are as pathetic as the ones on the Fan Boats. It’s easier to take out enemy skiffs by ramming them into sand worms than hitting them with the primary weapon!

Maybe you just have to be British to appreciate it? :uk:

I made my first Axton after all this time. Really is a fun character. A little weird at first, but damn is he powerful. He can use any gun in the whole game as good as Zer0, with none of the glass cannon ■■■■■■■■.

He was hated for ages by the community; didn’t help nobody used him, and the Reddit/anywhere communities said that he’s really not as good in TVHM and UVHM, which isn’t true. That’s just his turret, and you should be shooting anyways.

He can shoot a sniper as good as Zer0, he can use a Jakobs pistol better than Zer0 can usually, hes a badass with Hyperion shotguns, which i normally hate, AND he makes Tediore guns like The Deliverance actually fun to use. He’s not a character made for the most powerful equipment… he’s the powerful equipment.

My problem with the sandskiffs is how easily they blow up. More often than not leaving you stranded.

I just don’t find any of it funny. I know some people like Shade but i find him disgusting in every way. I really just don’t like being in that DLC lol. Won’t matter, with as many hours as I’ve put into that game, I think it may be finally time to retire from it in 2 days. At least for the foreseeable future.

I really really do not like Captain Scarlett DLC in general. It could be worse and has some great coding and optimization and art design, but there’s nothing there to stay for. Dehydrated crazy man, and 4 decent guns. And lady who is a giant flake.

Agreed, doesn’t seem to go with the feel of the rest of the game. Glad to have no reason to visit it again. I’ve been doing this with all DLC’s… going through from the beginning and doing EVERYTHING. I enjoyed every other one. Seems like i saw something i didn’t remember before. But finishing that one felt like a chore. It really did.

It’s an outrage!
Spent all day. At least 12 runs. before I got my first Storm Front. Got a lousy lobbed one. That’s only good to kill goldfish.
If the “turtles” were all 10% drop you should get one every 3 runs.

I’m ready to start a thread on it asking someone to start a petition to nerf it.
