Not only fun but remind me of Axton’s turret placement tactics. I wish the swap/dmg anointement was better. (stacks+duration). I just recently added the blow up thing.
So I had fun with Zane. Finished Bounty of Blood, some farming and just plain old fun. At MM7 the clone is shredding things with the Hellfire or Clairvoyance. Doesn’t seem to mind much for range or elements. Played a different tactic on Pretty Boy. Lob for the clone and I used it too at point blank range. Then switch to the clone. Breath of The Dying at range. The red bar last stage was down to a sliver with one shot from the Hellwalker. May have had help from an ASE anoinment.

Moze turn. Fun to play but this little thing struck me again.
Amarra have her Guardian Angel.
Zane have Old-U
FL4K have a pet that revive him
Moze have… A big chunk of metal as her only friend.

Gotta be more careful. I don’t mind much the respawn cost. It’s against boss in solo that hurt.
MM3-4 were obviously not going to cut it so she start at MM5 with Krieg’s Fustercluck.
Evil Brick and Mordecai were a pain. At some point I wasn’t sure I’ll make it. I hate AoD atttack. Ah the joy of “non-descript” builds!
Evil Lillith cost one respawn. Shaked but not stirred.
Can’t complain thou. I had a Mayhem 0 Likeable Rascal in my inventory from the playthrough with my wife. Did a search online and found it’s sister. Lovable Rogue. Sent FL4K collecting one. Found a Spring Epicenter and a Razez Boom Sickle later.
Standing in front of LocoMobius and not looking forward to it. Even less to the last boss.
I’m learning thou. Found out (or remembered?) you can trigger the Rogue stickies by swapping weapon. … To the newly acquired Boom Sickle!

Plus Utra with ASE on the belt. We’re doing this IB. Only 5 more they said…

Moze log: Supplemental.
Whoa! That went… pretty well.
Did I said I also have a set of Faisors? Might not be almighty 10 top tier but I love thr tchunk tchunk tchunk in shotgun mode. The corrosive did it’s job. Good timing with IB.

Tediore Zane got past Agonizer 9000, and even managed not to die there (although there were a few VERY close calls). Got to Clone capstone, and now struggling to figure out what to ‘give’ him from my Tediore arsenal.

After reaching Clone capstone it started to feel silly not to deploy the second action skill, so I am back to sending out Drone there as well. No longer wearing Big Boom Blaster, so it was a factor too - he now sports a Frozen Heart Aurelia dropped for him. The best relic he came across so far was a green one that imbues slam with radiation novas, so he does slams here and there - La Cage of Tinks was hilarious that way.

Vladof Moze rolled Negul Neshai, and Bagronked her way through it (between ammo drops: used a Pushdug, Monarch, and a Droog otherwise).

Fly my army of Seekers - soften that target up before I finish them with a zap fron the ‘gronkinator.

Hey FL4K, I got this for you for World Rabies Day - you can pick it up at the vet when you get your freakin’ pets vaccinated ya lazy bum.

Finished Krieg’s Fustercluck with Moze. Psychoreaver wasn’t much of an issue beside taking forever to bring down.
Just crazy how she changes with a few more points (57 -> 65), Mayhem rescale, and a slightly different loadout.
I love the Loveable Rogue! :exploding_head: Soften 'em at range. Switch to either the Boom Sickle or Corrosive Faisor to rigger the stickies and finish what’s left… If there’s anything left. Also good to quickly dispose of the cryo sphere. Iron Bear is an unstoppable killing machine (now) especially with a Plus Ultra equipped.
I love the DLC and everything in it. Of course insane Krieg dialogue is awesome. Way better than a random nipple salad. They manage to sell me the Kreig/Maya thing which I never was a fan of.
It’s what’s not in it I like less. After playing Jack’s Casino. (Still as good as when it came out.) and Bounty of Blood. You really feel the lack of content. We got 4 solid DLCs. Too bad the last one fell short.

Anywhoo… Sent her to Tazendeer Ruins. See how she perform against Maliwan troop and if it worth farming Sylestro & Atomic.
Crazy.
Last time there, at Mayhem 3. Progression was tedious. S & A fight was long and hazardous. Now at Mayhem 5 she chew Maliwan Heavy like fresh bread and decimate the troops like a true badass.
Sylestro & Atomic fight was short but she went in FFYL. Just gotta be more cautious.
Yup! A few more runs on these two. See if we get what we want. If not, no biggies.

The dice came up CoV FL4K who ran the Cistern of Slaughter, Maliwan Takedown, and a random jaunt through Lectra City.

I love a good barrel kill - this Spiderant just turned into a flying corpse when I popped that barrel under it.

I like the Kong as “RPG Shotgun” The risk of being in close range (because it’s wonderfully inaccurate) and potentially eating that shot, plus the risk of no real damage if I whiff makes up for the good damage on impact with a charge.

While Dominate still doesn’t work properly, I can manage by pointing my Skag at a specific target with the Attack Command (so it ignores them) and Dominating a handful of enemies (who all turn on themselves/die out). I think I usually maintain three slaves at most when doing this… hard to get more, as they generally time out/die before I can snag a fourth. (This is just a gross melee kill).

One of my favorite tactics with Gamma Burst FL4K is piling on as much AoE damage onto some enemies as I can by pinning them to an area. Here, Gamma Burst is microwaving them, the Eridian Skag’s singularity is keeping them locked down and throwing some damage, and my triple Jump grenade is pouring on repeated radiation doses. (Usually I prefer a Quasar for this, since it’ll help keep enemies in the zone with a second pull, but this grenade is strangely satisfying to use when all the bounces connect).

Saved my pup several times with the Friend Bot COM and Gamma Burst… I owe it to him after repeatedly sending him on suicide missions to gnaw on Wotan’s leg.

Landing the Gargoyle’s slower goopy shots on target is super fun. Wotan’s about to eat it here.

Among other things I did that.

If you or someone you know are stuck there on PS4. Visit the thread or give me a call. Just remember to specify it if you send a fr directly.

So yeah. I ran Bounty of blood again. Picked a lvl18 Siren ready to liberate Atlas. So 3 weapong slots and no Artifact. She was already loaded and the drops there are great. Rushed thru it up to saving Vintage the second time. It went faster than I thought it will.
Back on Sanctuary I thought I might as well continue her storyline. Atlas HQ is always fun. Too bad we can’t replay that section once the story is done. But at lvl 24 and the mission at 17. It wasnt much of a challenge against the Miscreant, Stonethrower, Spade and Flipper. With a Splinter for seasoning.
Back on Neon Arterial ennemies were just one level below. Probably the or at least one of the hardest Rampager fight I had. Kept falling at a sliver of health.
Beast is gone.
Vault is open.
Thanks GBX I didn’t had to watch the scene again.

Just saved Wainwright. Now debating if I continue. Work on another VH or start the Riding to ruin TVHM save right away.

Vladof Moze ran the Slaughter Shaft. I’m still crafting a build around the Leech. Specifically, she can bank two tazes with her mag size buffs, which makes them recharge faster with her other skills. If I nail someone in the head, it will throw a constant stream of crits for “free”.

These can shower the enemy in grenades with a Mind Sweeper COM, recharge the taze with Redistribution, constant Experimental Munitions bonus, etc. Redistribution, now that it fills health, can turn her into a surprising tank (even without crits).

In the game, however, I was assaulted by a constant stream of triple-health-barred enemies, so I didn’t get to use that much (a Boom Sickle, Cold Shoulder, and Ion Cannon were plan B). She did run Konrad’s Hold backwards to get some unfettered taze time in.

Very aggressive for me Iron Bear work.

While I suppose the physics in BL3 look better, they’re not as… dynamic as BL2.

Tazer shot to the face. Hits from this guy will knock me to the healthgate, but Redistribution and the Leech’s own life steal completely refill my health in maybe half a second. I need practice catching enemies at range.

Split my playing time over the weekend between PC and Xbox.

On PC Torgue Moze liberated Hammerlock and is about to push further into Eden 6. She’s doing OK, with most of deaths caused by self-damage, I think I have a single pellet Kielbasa with a ginormous splash radius, which hurts.

Tediore Zane made his way past Troy without too much trouble - he would like to get a few more guns with homing MIRV gimmick, but these are refusing to drop for him. Just made it to Nekrotafeyo and is about to lay some hurt on Maliwan there.

I just did a small respec on Moze yesterday to add Torgue Cross-Promotion. I was afraid of the 2X radius. Having played Axton with a Kerblaster, SwordSplosions and even the Fastball. I know all too well about Splash self damage!
So far so… not too bad. :open_mouth: I did down myself once or twice with the boom sickle without much issues. The real problem seem to come from the Spring Epicenter. Which I use mainly to heal/proc Vampyr. In other words. Already low health and no shield. If you happen to kill the last target in the meantime. Down you go.

On topic:
Pushed the leveling Siren story up to liberating Reliance. Her over the top gear is slowly falling behind. Which I don’t mind much as you can’t activate Mayhem until you finished the story. Got a few decent drops along the way. She did upgraded her shield once or twice. Now sitting at lvl29. (From 18)

Got back to my “follow posse help center” project. I need a TVHM save. Zane already done it in TVHM. Amarra and FL4K on normal. So I sent the designated volunteer, Moze. Have to send Santuary III flying first. After some bandit spine extraction she just made it to the Ascension Bluff.
I really, really like the Lovable Rogue on her. The stickies that turn into homing missiles! Even missed shots provide some damage. Switch guns to proc them and watch the fireworks.
A tad op for Mayhem 5 mobbing but I don’t mind at the moment.

Finally got around to doing the Krieg DLC on my Xbox. Waited awhile since playing through on PS4 showed me that there wasn’t anything interesting gear-wise (for me) in this DLC so.
But did it anyway, normal mode at Mayhem 10.
And yawn. With Zane and the elemental modifiers it’s straightforward. Boss fights aren’t too much, and the final fight is just too simple for Zane. Since the big guy is always there, you can always score hits, so you’re always regenerating health, and his attacks don’t do much as long as you just keep firing. Only risk is running out of ammo. Which I did for my Light Show, so switched back to the O.P.Q. and finished him off.
Oh, and I did die once, when I cleared the room and went to release Krieg from the torture couch. I stopped, of course, to press the button and release him, and Floor is lava was still active, set me on fire, and killed me. One would think that it would be simple (thinking as a programmer) to turn FiL OFF once all the enemies are dead, wouldn’t you?
I will not be replaying this DLC.

What level do you play at? Specifically, are most of the nice blue/purple weapons anointed such that the anointment text covers the reload behavior, so you have to actually pick it up, fire it, and toss it to see what it does? (Is there a way to tell by looking what kind of reload behavior they have?) I mean, that’s what I did until I found some keepers.

This Zane is still leveling up, so only around L30. As such, he does not see any anointed guns (I am convinced they do not drop in NVHM at all) besides what Earl might offer.

So, I actually see their gimmick listed on item card for now. I found quite a few with MIRV trait, but only a couple with homing MIRVs. And yes, it is annoying that anointed versions hide that important info.

I threw in a support ticket in for this a few months ago (it hides this text for all guns, so one cannot tell what tracker type Atlas guns have, what alt fire a Vladof gun has, etc.) Guy said it was forwarded to the devs, where I imagine it’s on a pile of other, more pressing things to fix.

edit - Tediore FL4K took the P.A.T. MKIII out for a spin through Lecta City and the Trial of Fervor. I did not know that P.A.T. came with a burly railgun in turret mode. :flushed: , nor was I ready for how cute its dialog is. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: P.A.T. doesn’t ■■■■ around though - straight knocked this Badass on his butt.

Fragged

P.A.T. knocked this guy into the sky and fired on him in mid-trajectory twice before he died and flew out of the map (you can see the remnant of the second shot on the wall).

I have a Wattson shield with “on Action Skill Start, trigger shield effects”, so firing it launches four grenades out front whenever I fire off Rakk. It’s a level 57 thing but with OK Boomer on deck, those grenades are brutal (can’t wait for a Level 65 one with the next event). It’s kind of like a WTF shield with manual controls. This is the spread from up high.

If I catch an enemy in a confined space though, where they’ll eat the full force of all of these, they get shredded. This guy will be insta fragged here in another step.

Two things: a close up of one of the Wattson grenades, and a wonderful bite mark out of the enemy’s health from the previous salvo of grenades/Rakk.

The Hog of Fervor… I’ll just dance around him, feeding him with Rakk, shield salvos, and attack commands (launcher Jabber). Also, FL4K’s left hand is missing a little finger.

Started the game after a couple of weeks and finished leveling Amara to 65. Decided to get started on Moze’s journey from to 60 to 65 as well and got her up to 64 by just completing some crew challenges that I’d left undone and clearing some fog of war away from maps that I hadn’t fully explored on her yet.

What are these torches in Ambermire? You can light them up but that doesn’t seem to do anything.

Anyone notice something missing from this picture?

Oh, and is there a Tannis-fish easter egg on this map? There’s a part of a beach with some barrels with different elements in there that looks like it could be that again and I hadn’t heard of one in this game so far.

I would say a Typhoon cache?

There is and sound like you found it.

My action skill indicator disappeared

Well, I’ve found the place and thought about it before too but I’ve never triggered the easter egg itself. What’s the order?

Honestly. i don’t know. Don’t remember doing it myself. shame shame…

But I did found this on Map Genie.

The order to shoot the barrels is - Fire, Gross, Shock, Radiation, Ice (essentially, shoot them in clockwise order)

Finished campaign with Tediore Zane - the last few guardian-infested maps were mostly dealt with shock ‘MIRV’ pistol and shock MIRV grenade. While wearing Transformer

Got no anointed items again in NVHM. As a quick experiment, after getting Mayhem artifact I disabled Mayhem, but still saw few anointed items in vending machines. So, I suspect they won’t drop/show up in vendors UNTIL you finish the story and get Mayhem contraption. I still think it would be better if anointed items dropped in NVHM - after all you are fighting anointed enemies on several occasions, let them drop some goodies!

Next I’ll probably wake up my R4kk Fl4k, and will try to get new Peregrine COM for him in DLC4. I’ve heard it’s quite fun with few grenades.

Original plan when I came back was to have Zane at MM7 and the three others at MM3
Yeah, things changed in the Borderlands.
Mayhem 3 quickly became kid mode. So MM5 it was but even that is now a cakewalk. Everyone will play at MM7 for now. Will simplify bank management especially with the Blood Harvest and Terror anointments. Even thou Zane is already looking toward MM8.

Moze is still in love with her Loveable Rogue but MM5 one, while still effective, could use an upgrade now. Evil Brick and Mordecai were an absolute pain. I didn’t put much thinking in her Mayhem modifiers and she had Boundary Issues. It was ok for mobbing but not against Evil Brick. Switched it and much better now.

Started the event. things definitely changed in the Borderlands.
Last year I was leveling character so it was a pain. Even for Zane who was at 50 it was “the new difficult map”. Got a decent Terror setup in mere minutes. Something I never achieve last year. Run through the map like a madman and chew Haunt like a big marshmallow.
