What did you do in your most recent session

No problem, it’s real easy to miss but they have quite a few entertaining conversations

Continued on DLC4. Just finished the Benedict area. Probably my favorite area mostly because I always like Hyperion related things.

Also found a couple of the side missions that were decent. Most have been pretty poor, but I really liked the Chess themed one.
P.A.T. I liked, but only because I was playing FL4K and could see FL4K relating to it. I do not think it would be as good with the other 3 VHs. Just my opinion.

Will finish the DLC tomorrow.

Are those panels how you open the force field on top? I did not figure out how to open this force field it is not related to the countdown as it is closed even when countdown is not over

Oh crap - I just figured out how to get up there the last time I played: figured it would be open during the countdown.

Maybe! Probably? Note - one of those panels is hidden in the cave/bunker section of that treasure room, which I similarly didn’t find until recently.

edit - did they buff FL4K’s melee? I’m crushing dudes at MM4 that I am certain I wasn’t before… no gear buffs, no bladed weapon, just whack with his pick. It’s gotta be Groundbreaker doing this.

2nd edit - confirmed! Here’s how to get in there:

There are twelve of those boards to break (yellow squares that will throw a damage number when hit, and thrn green). Three when you first hit the map:

Three at the second stage (the third one is on the wall above me - walk forward and look back to see it). The second one is on the ground to the right here.

Three in the room where you fight the final boss:

Three in the treasure room itself. I don’t have a good pic…

  • One on a platform at eye level on the left side of the room (you can’t miss it on the jumping path to the upstairs area)
  • One inside the little nook in the center of the treasure room. Note: FL4K can’t get in there because he’s too tall (Moze can, not sure about the others). He can get an angle on it for a shot by jumping and looking in at the right edge.
  • One inside the vestibule with the blocked doorway (face the doorway like you’re about to walk through, and turn around - it’s on the wall behind you).

When done, the four similar icons at the top of the treasure room will light up accordingly. In this shot, I have the first three done (green squares on the left), and the one on the right is still yellow). This will open the barrier to that room.

However! In an upstairs part of that room that you can reach with a jump pad is another little room full of chests that’s blocked off. I’m certain that if you get into this room before the full timer runs out, this upstairs room will be open as well.

CoV FL4K finished the DLC in meta-sans font (MM4, Dominance/Pet focused build w/ DE4DEYE COM, Purferator and Chukka as mains (Hydrofrost for FFYL, Face Puncher for distance Dominations), Porcelain Pipe Bomb, Moxxi’s Endowment for the XP, and I tried a Plus Ultra shield I found earlier in the campaign). Super fun! The final boss took all my AR ammo, and I was down to 38 pistol rounds before he died… was about to start in on him with the Chukka and some hot foot. :fire: :foot:

This is a huge, cross-map jump, and I figured my pets would sort of do their teleport thing and appear nearby, but Rocky here legit did the jump.

Barely saw this guy before Skag wrecked him… is he a regular, or some variety of loot midget?

Timing the Skag’s singularity so enemies are bunched up around a grenade toss is my favorite combat tactic with this build.

Rocky is leaping on the loader flagged in the distance, but he (or I?) will kill that Surveyor who happens to be in his flight path (like it will explode here in mid air). Total luck, but very satisfying.

Ran Benediction of Pain, and managed to open up two locked loot areas which was satisfying. Had some spotting assistance from my daughter, which was appreciated. That is some pretty dark stuff, that section.

No action shots, but this area looked like it might have been connected with certain DLC1&2 side quests. I didn’t see any marker for it though - did I miss something?

Nope, there’s no separate quest this time. Just those little easter eggs you’ve got there.
That said I’ve decided to be on a lookout towards the sky next time I run the area just to see if there’s not something more Mr. Sky related to be seen there. Doubt it but who knows.

It was nice to see him mentioned - I was a bit bummed out when he didn’t show up in Gehenna.

Thanks!
For the treasure room
What is expected for the middle one is to slam here where there is a big stain on the floor, it is slam breakable (so under used mechanism)
Also countdown apparently does not matter for this room nor the room inside

to open the room inside the room you d better get your glasses as you have to shoot extremely tiny panels

Not sure if they are all in the room I managed to light two big panels by shooting tiny ones

The hunt continues! edit: they all in the room timer is not important it only affects chests outside both rooms. Opening final room unlocks trophy Ye Who Enter

Good luck with that, we tried to find them on our own, but got bored after finding I think 9 or 12 and looked it up online.

I found them all, it took me a while probably the most difficult task of this dlc. Ye who enter trophee unlocked a well deserved 100.%

There is a video from Joltz that shows all of them btw

Exactly

Thanks - I’ll find 'em. :+1:

Got my Maliwan, CoV, and Vladof rep through there and up to level 65. Atlas is next (FL4K found a Hustler COM that looks like a hoot in Zane’s hands).

Eh… Does this mean Max Sky rocket crashed into Tannis construct of Krieg mind in so called neurally neutral space? So if Tannis materialized this abomination it is a public danger for anyone ending up unwillingly here. Until seeing what you posted I was thinking Krieg inner world was some VR simulation world under a helmet which I thought was not consistent with the fact that Tannis said you can loot stuff here.

Having just completed the new DLC, I’m still not sure exactly where we’re supposed to be and what’s real or not. But I guess that’s appropriate for a psycho? They do seem a little detached from reality in the rest of the Borderlands games.

Anyway, fought the final boss (yeah, definitely bullet sponge), got to both secret loot rooms, and scored a Wagon Wheel and a Rough Rider. Yay! Sort of. Interesting ending. I still have to go back and do some stuff - I skipped all the memory fragments, and apparently missed some map areas even though I was trying to be as thorough as possible. I think I also missed one side quest, as I keep seeing references to some person/creature/thing that I don’t remember meeting.

Maliwan Amara finished up the new DLC. That Frequency shotgun is incredibly fun to use. Atlas Zane started - hit level 65 at MM4 on a single Nanobot charge (dinged right before I finished Dr. Benedict). He should finish the DLC tomorrow.

Peacemonger was a room cleaner here. With Playing Dirty on deck, it does eat pistol ammo fast though.

PP Loader is, apparently, not rare.

So I’m decimating these Guardians (playing super aggressively), and these little sprites are stacking up… I’m trying to stay ahead of them so they don’t all light one dude up into Voltron or something. (I mean, I don’t think they stack, but it was fun to stay in front of them).

This fight (my fourth rodeo with this guy) was the first time I’d seen him actually rebuild some life… did he siphon off one of the remaining locals?

I love tagging enemies who teleport with Atlas guns - the bullets follow them through the teleport, and can’t miss. These shots were fired straight forward, and are tracking Lilith as she flies past me.

Tearing throught the dlc with Zane, I really like the Lovely Rogue AR (Evil Brick drop), it is the perfect fit for a speedy Clone Zane
Lovely Rogue is a shock sticky Torgue AR and sticky explosion have a chance to generate homing projectiles
Principle is to spray everywhere (no accuracy needed) as fast as possible with stickies and then on reload watch the fireworks do their magic

Naturally a double penetrating Lovely Rogue with Clone perform best, there is two of me only one of you we can make it work
Some added fire rate with violent Violence and extra projectiles with Playing dirty and it’s ton of fun! An underrated weapon for sure

Dat name

Homing projectiles form stickies explosions

Vs Benedict and build showcase

Random mobbing

My Torgue rep hasn’t made this run yet, but I’ve been saving my best Rogues for that Gunner. That does look fun. Are they homing? They seem to just spill randomly.

They are homing though not as far away as Atlas stuff, you mostly want to fill the field with those and nothing can take cover. I am not sure how well this gun performs with Moze, please do tell us when you will be there.

Tried giving the game a second chance. Went to farm an item, killed the boss, sat in a 2 minute loading screen, killed him again and closed app.

Seriously how hard is it to allow all boss to respawn by warping to the previous checkpoint. Looks like it will never happen. I bet they wont even try to improve the performance of the game anymore once the next gen consoles drop.
