Maybe that build is interesting for you:

Torgue Moze finished DLC2, but it was not all smooth sailing - Tom & Xam gave her quite a bit of trouble, being very good at destroying IB (unless it was my own Vanquisher rockets  ). She is now exploring Gehenna, trying to catch up with Cryo Zane. Edit: she promptly acquired Contained Blast, Spade, and Harold within 5 minutes of playtime in Blastplains, so I suspect she will now spend more time outside of IB, which seems to be really OP for mobbing.

Speaking of Zane - after picking up several goodies like Lightshow, Flipper, Beacon, Star Helix etc. through normal play (even without ‘correct’ anointments), he’s more or less unkillable on M11. Bellik Primis was pretty much evaporated in no time. May be the game is easy after all…

Thanks! That is informative. He focuses a lot on cooldown, but it’s hard to argue with that damage. :grimacing:

I think I got her ironed out with a couple point tweaks (trying not to step on my Maliwan build’s toes too much, and that was made before the purple tree came out, which has some good perks in it for this).

It feels a little overpowered to use my “On Action Skill Start…” anointed Frozen Heart for this, but dang if freezing them in place 1) keeps them from shooting me while I float there helpless, 2) keeps them from squirming out of range, and 3) fires Free the Soul shards on kill. If anyone is not dead, punching them fires Unweave the Rainbow, and a kill fires Expedite with a shot at Combo Breaker. Here are some shards from Free the Soul (seems finicky about proccing).

More importantly - I have been looking for one of these almost since the game started. Kind of wish it had an element, but the damage is pretty good without, and that anointment will work.

In my last session, I crashed Slaughterstar. d:

Wave 5, drop ship came in to drop in some mekka on the back landing pad. I tossed in a radiation Cloning Hex, Phase-slammed to trigger the ASS Frozen Heart, and fired a 2 mag cryo Hellwalker shot straight into the Ballista’s midsection crit and got a fatal error.

“I’m just too good; that’s the problem…”

I don’t think this game has actual Godliaths… I spent quite some time trying to level one past, “Ultimate Raging Badass…” rank, and I’d see them kill several enemies, do the level-up animation, but remain there. Has there been a confirmed sighting of a legit Godliath? Also, I’ll see one face-tank a Hardened Zealot throwing the actual rockets (not the one-off nerfed pellets) at them, and not bat an eye. I kited one through a mob of Jabbers, and it got killed right away.

Torgue Moze made a bit more progress on Gehenna, and entered what I would call a ‘midlife crisis’. Her gun arsenal (Harold, Spade, Lob…) is no match for what IB is capable of - you enter new area, bunch of bad guys spawn: I can either spend decent time killing them with Harold (everything else will take even longer) or jump into IB and quickly wipe everyone out with Vanquisher pods, spending may be 20% of fuel. Kormash died in 3 volleys or so,

Jump out, look at loot, move ahead, repeat - even without investing much into cooldown skills, IB is available again quite quickly.

Piloting IB with Bear Trooper more or less trivializes combat here, perhaps I should try another COM to make on-foot Moze more competitive: need to find a Mine Sweeper perhaps.

I was bored so I pranked the early quests in dlc3

If you slide into drunk William instead of punching him, he goes into a ragdoll state stuck in the ground but continues to insult you nonetheless

I figured I could put my foot on him to try to shut him up

And that’s a BIG foot

Then I killed this guy, you can punch him around all over the place

And then you can revive him :joy: meanwhile the other one continue to jump to avoid bullet

then I punched his stupid hat and still heard the bullet sfx which was hilarious, yep totally bored today…

Torgue Moze rolled Desolation’s Edge, and hit it with an Echo (radiation), Thumper (corrosive), Bearcat (radiation), and Satisfaction (fire) with a Blast Master COM and some Toxic Revenger relic (had a good mag size buff).

She mained the Bearcat, swapping to the Echo for ranged enemies and Thumper for major corrosive damage (the Satisfaction was my “oh crap” weapon). The Bearcat had a ‘next two mags on ASE get bonus corrosive damage’, so because I wsa rocking the Blast Master, I made sure she didn’t need to reload to maximize both of those (Means of Destruction, Cloud of Lead, and Redistribution kept the mag full without issue… Bearcat throws a lot of splash, and in a pinch, a grenade would top it off). I spent a lot of time carjacking everyone until the area was clear, and did the Bad Vibrations side quest.

Tricky to catch these guys in the air…

…but satisfying when you do.

I took an Eridian shot to the teeth, thinking I’d slide in at them under fire.

Got my first plasma coil from the arms race. Shock/rad with 50/150 rad anointment. Gave it Moze. Holy cow, now I know what the hubbub is about this gun. Really OP and is comparable with Moze’s 50/150 flippers.

Punched an Anointed Zealot, shot him with the Hellwalker, which sent him flying, and then punched him against the wall (he actually flattened against the wall in ragdoll.) So satisfying. d:

Both Cryo Zane and Torgue Moze finished DLC3 - Moze barely broke any sweat, and Zane did not do too badly either, just took him longer to take care of Rose and Ruiner. Tracking Vanquisher pods are super useful for Rose and other fast or flying targets.

Cleaned up bank a bit, mostly via lower level characters grabbing goodies from it to sell and load up on SDUs (why can’t I sell from it directly?). Will probably keep only max level items in there from now on (and truly rare purple stuff).

I’ll move on to DLC4 with both of them next, or may be will wake up an Amara (probably melee one) to take her to 65 as well.

Jakobs FL4K turned off his pet and did a slow burn through Lectra City stealth style across the rooftops. Both of the Anointed husks in this shot were one-hit kills too. I do stack everything at my disposal into those shots though, but I do enjoy this playstyle. It took a while, and I did blow my cover a couple of times by walking into enemies I didn’t notice around corners.

After that, they went through Tazendeer Ruins. If you wait for the enemies to teleport down out of the drop ship and nail the turret on the ship while in Fade Away before the ship leaves, the shot wil roast the troopers too (well, it’ll roast one, and Hollow Point will wreck the rest). Did this on the second incoming ship too.

I managed to defog the area around that enemy challenge without defogging the way there. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

What happened to my name here?

Torgue Moze finished up DLC4 (died to Psychoreaver a few times, mostly by walking off cliffs). Now facing a dilemma - stick with allegiance to mop up remaining quests and content or try something else, e.g. Sapper, Flare, or Mind Sweeper-centric approach. Wanted to explore Heavy-only play, may be with Auto Bear for support? Just need to see if I can minimize reloads somehow, these things are slow as molasses.

Cryo Zane is almost halfway through DLC4, right now thoroughly enjoying Brainstormer for his mobbing, very effective at freezing stuff and keeping skills up.

First of all I would like to Thank the Necromancer who pulled my lifeless persona back to the Forums.
Or maybe it was a sudden uptick in Powerlevel requests from BL 2, no matter it has brung the forums to my attention again.
Have had my FL4K up to 65 from almost the beginning of the Level change, been using it to 100% everything, acquire all achievements and generally just running around killing things in M10 and occasionally when my friends complain I use the easy mode M11 (they don’t like the modifiers in M10).
Just got a Moze to 65 last night, did farm Arms Race for a couple levels and netted a Frost Dark Army+ at level 61, it’s still viable at level 65, but much prefer one at level 65 in Molten or caustic, well back to farming Arms Race.

I’m really digging Phaseflare for both my Maliwan (elemental focus) and Hyperion (melee focus) Sirens. My Maliwan rep is built fully down the Mystical Assault and Fist of the Elements trees, so only has enough points in the Enlightened Force tree to get Cold Hearted. The stock Phaseflare hits harder than the other 'flare-based Action Skills (don’t care about healing, so no Glow Up, the elemental beams from Shooting Star don’t seem like a ball of fire (and given the reduced Phaseflare base damage), though Light Fantastic is wonderful, she’s not taking points out of her other trees to get this.

That said, my Hyperion rep is loving that Action Skill (Light Fantastic)… keeps the orb locked onto flying enemies as long as I can hit them. I’m also getting pretty good at keeping the orb from getting stuck on world obstacles, and it hits wonderfully hard. Here I’m pulling it towards me because these knuckleheads got in the way.

I was wrong the Dark Army is a level 60 M10, but it does hold it’s own decently at 65 M11. That moze found a “Investing Green Monster level 65 m10 class mod”, it gives bonus caustic damage to any gun Moze is firing (Bonus damage increases the longer the gun is fired). Tried it out with a Molten Infinity and was getting both molton and increasing caustic Damage, may have found a good use for infinitys.
Now I want to try it with a molten Dark Army (65 m10) going to have to farm for it first, unless anyone has an xtra laying around)) and see what happens

Tediore FL4K rolled Sandblast Scar, and (after a relatively uneventful run of defogging stuff), ran Konrad’s Hold.

Hitting Rakk out of the air at distance with an alien-barrel shotgun is very satisfying. I mean, I could just do a reload toss (it’s got a Deliverance reload feature), but this is way more fun.

Giving the Exterminator grenade a serious run. While it’s got a damage bonus for Varkids and Spiderants, the repeat bounce appears to work on anything. It was interesting watching a swarm of them beat Varkid mobs to death.

…forgot about this guy. :grimacing:

CoV FL4K wound up slugging it out with seven Anointed at once (two Psychos and five Fanatics). I have never seen that many at once in a fight so far. None of them were Militants, so it was actually fairly enjoyable, though at MM11, with a smattering of other Hardened/Badass Zealots and Militants around, it felt like a takedown. I took a knee a lot, but managed to do it without dying. :metal:

I was packing a NoPewPew, Mr. Caffeine shield, Gravity Snare and a Quasar. The NoPewPew can throw a lot of crits on enemies suspended by the trap, which fed Fuzzy Math which kept my shield up, which let me reload that rifle super fast so I could burn straight through the peak fire rate.

Here the five grenade trackers you see in the HUD are all those homing orbs of death the Fanatics throw. I got a second wind in the middle of them and was physically trapped between them because they were all in such tight orbit around me. Also, I love the Critical Thug. If the shot doesn’t kill the enemy at first, the sticky will throw another shot, so you get a moment of anticipation where you can savor landing a crit at distance with that thing, and then BAM, some other rando in the mob eats it too.

He also made a run through Skywell and took out Katagawaball. Here the Globetrottr is working its shields over.

Torgue Moze ran Jakobs Estate. This is a dual shot from a Badass Zealot that went right around me. :grimacing:

I did not know the Hotfoot Teddy chained like this. It auto aims to the center of mass, so it’s difficult to catch crits with it, but it’s a fun little roaster.

She also ran Jack’s Secret and took out the Fabricator at MM11 with an Impaler and corrosive slams (after working the shield down with grenades and a Spark Plug). A Blast Master maxed out and some AoE buffs on the relic (and some time) did the heavy lifting. They were throwing enough damage that I could heal from the Health Gate back to full by sprinting for a moment to feed Rushin’ Offensive (corrosive slams near the Fabricator’s foot almost inevitably knocked me to the gate). It was dicey, but fun. Iron Cub was strangely useless, sitting in the corner out of range of Salamander, and peppering it with its fire assault rifles. Thanks buddy.

Cryo Zane finished DLC4 - Psychoreaver was a slog, as usual, but pretty straightforward. Once done with it, he dipped his toes into Arms Race, made a beeline to the boss and did score a coupe of relics, Death Rattle and Holy Grail, I think.

Arms Race does bring a decent adrenaline rush - and yes, Tediore is quite helpful there (as well as transfusion grenades etc.

Torgue Moze explored True MTD, had no issues whatsoever till Valkyries, but then IB quickly applied a lot of self damage (need to learn how to keep distance from baddies), and Moze did not last long on foot. It felt doable, though - I never beat MTD before, just never tried, but perhaps now is the time.

Same Moze dabbled in Slaughterstar and through first two rounds did not have much of a problem. Could not move further, though, since last stupid Nog or someone got stuck somewhere in the metal floor and I could not get to him.

For a change, Gunslinger Zane (pistols only) was called back into duty and finished Nektrotafeyo story. He figured that MNTIS would be a decent addition to pistol arsenal, and also relied on help from a Clone. I think he was mostly rocking Maggie and Hornet, not paying too much attention to elements.

After finishing the story decided that it’s time to go directly to M11 and go through all DLCs with it. Somewhat annoying that vendors on Sanctuary do not switch to M11 after you enable it in Echo - so he tried GunGun and several Golden keys. As luck would have it - not a single pistol :frowning: . OK, I guess he’ll have to travel somewhere. Probably will start with DLC1, to get a Seeing Dead perhaps.

Have you used that? Like if you die and it gives you an automatic Second Wind, if you unequip and re-equip it, does that reset it? I can’t believe it would, but haven’t tested it out. I was torn about this relic at first, but apparently every time you get a Second Wind (after your first freebie), you get the buff. Well, I’m still on the fence about it, but still.

Random stuff - this is the second chest I’ve found that’s not in the Borderlands 3 Interactive maps. After my first report was ignored (and an exit that’s not mapped right), I stopped caring. They’re still right enough for most things… I’m mostly excited that I found out how to get to this chest without a vehicle.

Hitting my stride with my new CoV build (gave Gamma Burst to my fourth FL4K, picked up Gravity Snare, and built all the way down the purple tree). Specifically, I’m getting the cadence of a Quasar, Eridian Skag singularity attack, and Gravity Snare to condense enemies into a spot where it’s easy to hit them all with the (surprisingly small) sweet spot of the Sawbar. I miss Gamma Burst for this, but CoV weapon ammo consumption needs Gravity Snare (specifically, Forage)

I do need a tad more practice catching enemies in the sweet spot for Vosk’s Deathgrip (but it’s wonderful when it works). Anyone using the singularity half of the gun for this?
