m4 takedown completed with Moze, for once it was a relaxed pace, dropped this thing I keep seeing mention everywhere: the Kyb’s worth, no annoint though, is this thing usable without annoint?
Killed Billy , unexpectedly dropped the raging bear com in 3 runs only! Super pumped!
TVHM Skywell easily completed with Moze and IB. For the control room, I cleared the entire first round with IB then exited to guard Rhys-ball at the console. Next round I switched to my Lucky 7 and shredded everything with it. After punctuating K’s yacht, I kept the Lucky 7 out and destroyed K-Ball. Seriously - the first bar went down so fast, it never got any rockets off. And with a Transformer shield, I could just stand in front of the thing and Lucky 7 it into oblivion with ease. The Lucky 7 is my new Ion Cannon 
Finished the casino with RoboCop, nothing worth mentioning dropped - the usual rain of classmods from Jackbot. Found it odd my pet didn’t jump down there with me, just a glitch maybe?
I did go back and spend another half a mil getting to that statue in Jack’s Secret but I got it 
I am an idiot. I upped my game to M4 to hunt for some Cutsman. I play for about two hours and it was really tough. It was like my build was broken (I am running Gamma Burst) and the enemies are supposed to ignore me in favor of my pet. But I am getting pounded. Found two cutsman (first one was absolute crap), found two saw bars, better relic, ect. Making progress, but so difficult. I think it is just M4. At the end of the session, I go to clean out my inventory when I notice that I don’t have my Red Fang Com equipped. Instead there is some crap Com in its place. So my build was broken. Put the right Com back in place do one more run, so much easier. Still tough but more doable.
DOH! So annoying. lol
did a pretty decent boss cycle run M4 with Moze, i skipped Shiv, Mouthpiece 2.0, Aurelia, Warden (cuz i forgot he existed), GenIVIV (cuz i forgot she existed) and the DLC bosses. got a lot of legendary anointed gear.
It has been a revelation to me how much better, and easier to get, anointed gear is on M4.
Tried my BM Moze build that I used in the DLC on M2 on Giga in M4 and he kicked my bot bad! Had to switch back to Bloodletter and DW & Shield trees… Kind of a drag since I was enjoying duel miniguns.
Dropped Moze back into NVHM to see if I could finally get a levelled Electric Banjo. Lo and behold, first try! Tried a few other rare spawns on Eden-6, but only El Dragon Jr dropped a legendary. Got a pizza Echo Skin world drop as well. The shorter one of Heckle and Hyde actually disappeared on me completely - I think he may have jumped off the edge of the map rather than cough up a drop!
After that I hit the first four proving grounds just to run through and grab stuff. That was actually a lot of fun, and I did manage to get a couple more legendaries, including additional class mods for Moze and Zane.

Thanks to the scaledown event, just finished my first Takedown with my girl Moze. Loving the new Takedown skin.
Well, at least I can say I gave Mayhem 4 a shot but neither my gear or build is quite ready for it yet. Doing much better at Mayhem 3 though but the Anointed (or better, Annoying), Goliath and BA enemies are still troublesome- going to have to try some actual strategy rather than just going in with Iron Bear blazing…
Edit: managed to reach Tyreen the Destroyer in Mayhem 3- good chance to try out a weapon I’ve never really used before…
Ran the last two proving grounds to prove I could do it, and got some nice drops. I still needed a bit of cash for something so I ran through Athenas and got a drop from the Cumberpatch (!) and Traunt. Finished up with a quick run through Jack’s Tower and now have 20 extra bank slots that filled very quickly. Just one more bank upgrade to go…
Took more than a few tries but took out Tyreen the Destroyer in Mayhem 3. Will try Maliwan Takedown but first need to create a new character to take stuff out of (and make room in) the Bank- Moze Zambique is carrying way too much crap (including a legendary class mod for Amara). Also have Mr Torgue’s next Slaughterdome ready to go…
One of the great side benefits of the shared Bank space is you’re much more likely to use old gear when levelling up a new character as it’s so easy to do. And it gives you a chance to experiment with gear you forgot you had. I’ve just been having a blast with my L25 Hazardous Sellout on Moze and she’s now L32 and it’s still wiping the floor with everything. Think I might just have a suicide planned for when I reach L50 on the second playthrough…
I cruised through Wotan without too much trouble with my CoV FL4K and my Atlas Zane, but he’s been strangely difficult for my Vladof Moze… have failed maybe half a dozen times so far with this one character.
I actually beat him last night, but the game didn’t register the kill… this is the little runaway brain lootsplosion, where you can still see the live quest. Off the minimap is a red skull with an up arrow in the middle of the map… maybe part of him flew into the sky box?
Of all the Legendaries I’ve gotten so far, this shield is my prize… should be able to slide into an enemy, wreck them for some serious damage, and have the full shield right back. I do this now with my Torgue Moze (built down the Shield of Retribution tree).
Got ganged up on by a couple of these hounds… normally fine, but maybe a tenth of a second after this frame, I’m at the healthgate.
This is true. My latest session saw Zane grab a bunch more stuff passed down from Moze, and drop a bunch more off for Amara and FL4K. I’ll have to sort it out a bit better as I now have something like 5 or 6 purple pistols all in the same level range. Still, levelling characters can always use the extra cash!
Zane did an Ambermire side quest and took the opportunity to run through pretty much the whole map. Red Jabber is still being stingy.
Steamrolling the path to Wotan with Vladof Moze now - 0 for 12 kills. 
Yeah it seems to be by design, I agree probably for that reason (a spare one for a co-op partner). It was something I noticed back before the game was even released when I watched streamers playing preview builds of the game that included that section of the story. If it was some weird oversight I imagine it would have been something easy enough to have fixed by now hehe.
Did you kill the bottom half first? I’ve heard that if you don’t kill the upper half first it can glitch out like that (I always kill the upper part first after having heard that.)
Since the dual events started, I’ve been farming the heck out of certain enemies in trying to get anointed versions of stuff I have. Since I’m mostly playing Zane at the moment, I’m trying to get 100%-bonus-cryo-with-SNTNL-out SMGs. Also been running the Takedown a ton, finally got a Kyb’s Worth but in the wrong elemental flavors (no cryo) and anointment (passing it on to my Amara who will make better use of it and its melee anointment.) Also got a Re-Charge Berner with 50% bonus radiation damage after ASE, a decent upgrade over the regular Re-Charger he was using.
A reminder: when you kill Wotan, destroy his corpse’s legs! You get another lootsplosion for each one you break. But his corpse disappears pretty quickly (about as soon as Lorelei stops speaking to you I think) so hit 'em fast!
Tryed to farm a new lvl 50 night hawking with no success yet 
Tried to do Takedown during the scaling event. Got stuck in a jump-pad in the final arena, unable to leave at all. Immediately got shot to hell and couldn’t see anything to 2nd wind bouncing up and down endlessly. 
Even at 1 player scaling I can’t do it. 
Maybe turn off the jump-pad when the player’s DBNO?
