I switched my Amara to a Ion Cannon build with the Spiritual Driver. I then proceeded to do the whole Moxxie DLC. The Ion Cannon is a pretty fun build, though running out of ammo is a bit annoying. Why do Zealots get to spam rockets but I don’t? I was surprised that the build worked pretty well. Though for big bosses I needed to mix in other forms of attack because you just run out of ammo too quickly. Regular enemies do go down in 1 shot even on M4 (not all of them just some).

After killing Jack-bot I then decided to farm the fabricator. Trying to get a better Ion Cannon. No luck so far. The annoying thing about that farm is that there is no vendor there so I have to open up chest after the kill to keep my ammo pool up.

This is after killing the fabricator. Not sure if that should have been part of the drop or if it is part of the fabricator after I kicked its ass. Either way it amused me.

I just finished some farming on the fabricator and had some good drops. I experienced the same ammo issue… then after my last run I looked at my map before leaving and it showed a vendor machine up top but around the corner and I never saw it. I heard they put one there… will have to check on that to make sure I saw what I saw… got two 2x with nice anointment corrosive and fire…

I saw a video showing a new trick to refill your rocket ammo using a tourge gun (not sure which right now) and any shield that adsorbs bullets like in bld 2. I have not tried it yet it is not a main weapon for me. Pretty sure this was intentional if not then it will be patched :acmaffirmative: :boom:

IIRC it’s right beside the respawn station before you go down - very convenient way to clear out your inventory before going back for more!

I am going to have to look again. I don’t remember seeing a vendor near there. I am using the Big Boom Blaster. That combined with Spirit Driver and Anima and I can regen rockets. Not quick enough for a boss fight but it works pretty well. I wish I could keep this up better but the Ion Cannon is too hungry.

The grind for the +5 donnybrook seein dead continues as the game taunts me with everything but this class mod. So far I have gotten at least 5 different really good nukems and only 2 decent class mods from loco chantalle. Starting to think these +5 legendary coms don’t exist if I haven’t seen others

On a lighter note I went for a quick jackpot kill before I got off and got a god roll craps for my Zane has the 100% cryo anoint and I’m loving it goes to show my luck is used on everything but the stuff I need/want

Tina one-shotted an Anointed Maniac when she nailed him with this grenade (he just sort of sat in it until it popped).

Another cov circle of slaughter with Zane, fun time, lot of legendaries, getting the hang of barrier uptime, fire infinity with consecutive hits anoint is surprisingly efficient damage wise and as well to proc good misfortune.

Killed the Fabricator a bunch more. Time for a break I think. Sadly he did not cough up the Ion Cannon I wanted. The odds were not in my favor.

I did find this which is nice but I don’t have a build for it right now.

Just hit max level with my first Zane. Happened at the conclusion of Under the Meridian, which is way too early, I’ll be looking for the (minor) level cap increase.
The stat meter in the character load screen tells me it took one day + 19 hours, of play time to do NVHM and far enough into TVHM to max out. And he hasn’t done any side quests in TVHM.
He also has only died 3 times, one time out of pure stupidity by getting stuck right when the thruster fired in the Skywell and getting toasted to death.
Which means, of course, I think I’m a-gonna try 1Lifing BL3 after all. Zane seems well suited for it, I’ll see how the rest of TVHM treats us.

With the impending level increase I decided to shelve my characters and I started on my Zane, last of the four, and first of that name.

I find it very amusing to do the fuse quest but not pick up a spine. They literally pop out of all the CoV each time I kill them. It’s glorious.

yeah, the Carrier is a current mainstay for one of my Zanes that I’m leveling, it’s 7-ish lvls under him and still holding up
