FL4K continued to sack Maliwan, this time successfully defending Atlas HQ. Had a loot heart drop a legendary FL4K mod - is this good for levelling?

Also got another orange spire from the corpse of K. Jr., this time a sniper:

Dinged the event SMG along the way, which popped up as non-annointed. Ah well, can’t have everything!

Amara’s turn. Watched Chadd do epic stuff, then went through the Jakob’s Cellars. Aurelia proved a bit of a pain largely because my only shock weapon was a bit underlevelled. She did have the courtesy to give me a double legendary drop though. I don’t remember seeing as many hearts through the map as it appears I broke, but apparently explosions will shatter them as well as bullets - and there were a LOT of explosions. Wrapped up with Graveward and then some more gear tweaking.

I think BL3 is done for the night - sensory overload has definitely kicked in.

Sold a bunch of Lvl 50 gear to make room in the banks and then ran the last 2 targets for Zero, Handsome Jackie and Sylestro/Atomic. Plenty of drops along the way but nothing exciting. The Lyuda from Zero came in as a cryo, anointed for airborne. At least it was single damage and at level. Will probably run up Zane next so it might be good on him.

No respawns tonight, in fact I don’t think I even took a knee. I guess I should start paying more attention to the modifier list in Sanctuary to figure out which ones make tough sessions. I’ve gotten into the habit of just looking at the one in the echo, which is misleading. Is there a way to see the whole modifier list in the echo?

I always assumed the Echo showed the current active modifers… Which is why I either play 2 or 4 and skip the mess that 3 usually is.

It seems I achieved don’t bother picking up loot if you can’t use it status with Zane - hit 99mil and the bank will take no more!

Looking for places to grind out those levels with Amara, she has no missions left for bonus exp… Also noticed there seems to be less Hearts than there was when I ran Zane through. Reminds me of the loot drops in the casino, absolutely nuts the first time and not so much for subsequent runs.

It seems like the hearts take a while to appear sometimes. They also have this annoying habit of disappearing inside closed crates and through walls. Anyway…

Zane ran through the missions in Konrad’s Hold finding much loot along the way. Assault on the Cathedral is the next main story beat but, since I have him part way through the Casino heist, I might take him back there for a bit. (Either that or just do side quests until I have more of the hearts I need.). Wherever he goes, I need to find an excuse to use this:

Then Moze came out of semi-retirement and resumed TVHM. Having secured coffee and burgers for the Atlas team, she headed to the HQ and foiled the nefarious schemes of Katagawa Jr. Oh, and looky what dropped on my way through Meridian Metroplex:

Back in time to finish Amara’s run from 20 to 30 before the event. Now with added Blitz she start to feel like a real melee character. Things went smooth and I’m glad to be done with Aurelia. … For now. Did had a good shock weapon though. Still not the ideal foe for an unfinished melee build.

Did the event and leveling up with my main, Zane. Got spooked by the ghosts and almost went to fetch my old (terror)Brainstormer! Inventory was already a total mess and it’s not getting any better. Some cool drops.

Back to IG-88. The new level cap kinda screwed my leveling planning. …30(Aurelian/Graveward) -> 38(End story) -> 45 -> lvl cap.
So 45 to 53 it was. Worked on crew challenges. Did “not so rare spawn anymore” mission when available. Also hunted a few of them to help the wife leveling up her Siren. Heard a few “Why you keep killing them” in the headset.

Got a bunch of Brainstormer world drops at some point. Was strange but always welcomed.

Now it’s Gunner time! (38 -> 46) Oh boy! Gear was good but slightly underlevel and let’s face it. I was rusty with her.
And totally space out on disabled Guardian Ranks.
Some nice drops from the get go and a visit from the mules and she’s READY TO BLOW!

Abused Giga for some gear for an hour, he was in a AAA mood - dropped 3 of 'em. 2 were annointed but nothing spectacular, it’s still a fine shield ripper.

Watch out for Pippie during the event, the annoying reptile had a gold heart today - yep got a pile o’ loot when I shot it, couples leggos too!

Dahl Zane in the Cistern of Slaughter throwing a cryo Hex. At one point I ran out of SMG and AR ammo (and didn’t bring any snipers)… had to finish that round with the Hornet (and occasional scraps of ammo that fell from the sky).

Moze dropped back to NVHM to complete the Broken Hearts challenges and accrue cash in the Slaughtershaft. Mission accomplished! Some of the legendary drops ended up in odd places; fortunately the LLM came to the rescue. Dinged the last two levels to 53 in the process, and I’m a lot closer to the penultimate set of bank slots.

That up there turned out to be a level 51 Trevonator.

I helped a forum member to get from about level 18 to level 52 and gave him some desent stuff for level 50. I run the slaughter shaft on M3 four times. He let me loot first then he took everything he wanted. I emded up with 3 legendaries which i will never use. I picked them up only for the reason I dont wanted to get out of it empty. RNG yey

Zane went back to Voracious Canopy to complete the side quest there and finish his collection of hearts. Both successfully concluded, as well as clearing the Typhon cache:

That infinity will go to FL4K for now I think. Also picked up a legendary cold war COM which I’ll have to take a look at. I’m finding COMs rather difficult to decide between, at least while levelling.

And finally Amara went back to Splinterlands for the mission involving Mouthpiece’s successor. Got up to 80% hearts and grabbed another level doing that. I think I’m done with BL3 for the day though - the fatigue, it is real.

Vladof Moze, Melee Amara, and Hyperion Zane (all in their teens) filled their quota of broken hearts. None of rewards were anointed, but that’s no biggie - into the bank they went to wait for their rightful owners.

Started new Splash Moze - she will only be allowed to use weapons with splash damage: Torgue, few Maliwan things, I think AX-88 pistol from Atlas, heavy weapons, and Duc, if/when she finds one. Any grenade/shield. Heavy focus on blue tree, I suspect. There is a L11 Big Boom Blaster waiting for her in Sanctuary

Gave up on Giga, he’s been stingy since the last event ended. Decided to pick on Freddie, possibly due to his style choices, instead . Sure it’s more “work” but he’s been big on dropping the Cutsmans, Cutsmen?!? I nabbed 3 in half a dozen runs, no they’re not annointed but they are level appropriate so I’m not complaining! He also seems to drop mostly annointed gear for me…

Took Amaranth to Jakobs Estate to do a Zero target and hunt hearts. Then headed to Voracious Canopy for a Hammerlock hunt and more hearts. Wrapped up her leveling with Graveward before returning to the canopy to break more hearts. Lots of them were turning into gold skulls tonight. Sometimes 3 at time. Unfortunately most didn’t drop orange.

It’s been a while since I ran her so I had forgotten how much damage she can take and give out. That girl’s tough! Had also forgotten how fun it is having 4 or 5 enemies all phasegrasped at once.

Back at Sanctuary she unwrapped her gifts from Maurice. What a nice anointed Wedding Invitation. Made with her in mind.

So we went and thanked Maurice before calling it a night.

Leveling up Schmooze the Gunner.

Day one: For some strange reason she had the “head in jar” and mouthpiece 2 missions started. Shouldn’t be and I don’t like them that much but… So she went to the base of the broadcast center. Nothing there. Look at the mission log. Still haven’t picked up the head. Oh well. Start the climb up the center itself. Only to find a locked door. Didn’t picked up the stuff for mouthpiece #2…
So yea. Lot’s of wasted time for not much. I try to stick to the type of gear she’ll use once at level cap. I love Torgues on her but when a Maggie drop!

Day two: Kept doing crew task “in appearing order”. Main part pf the day was The Anvil. Because stupid me forgot the infamous radio to sabotage. Whoa! Place is always crazy but it was nut. Had to thank Iron Bear for saving my ass a quite a few time. Gear is good. I used a very nice Q-system (among other things) that double as a Lyuda and jackobs rifle. But Atlas and Jackobs don’t do splash…
As for the sabotage operation. Was confident as last time I did it in one easy shot.
Not this time. A couple fumble and one respawn.

She eventually made it to 46 so it’s the Siren turn to finish the story. Boy is normal mode different than Mayhem 2! She feel like a beast. Quick run through Devil’s Razor and Splinterlands. Completed Carnivora and gut it out. Stated Konrad’s Hold up to The Slaughter Shaft. Time to take a break. Drop some gear in Sanctuary’s chest and call it a night.

Troy will be down before the sun set.

Busy weekend of shooting hearts. I took my four vault hunters and got all the hearts they each needed. My best item from all that was:

I was disappointed to see that the level increase does mean I have to re-farm gear. I took Amara, who is M4 capable, to fight Graveward and it was a slog. I didn’t die but my level 50 gear was not cutting it. I was running out of ammo when I finally got him down.

Aside from that I have named my new Zane Spinaltap. I still have not turned in the Fuse quest and I continue to pop them spines.

I was hoping I would one day be able to pop Troy’s and Tyreen’s spines. But alas, I think that is not to be. Even basic CoV bosses like Dumptruck don’t have a spine. I have confirmed that Mouthpiece is spineless. I am willing to bet that all CoV upper management are also spineless. The higher you go up the corporate later the less spine you have it seems. Sad but not surprising.

Ran through Athena’s to get the last hearts I needed for the Wedding Invitation got one with ASE +50% bonus shock Dmg on the next two mags. Got this thing on Zane and it is nasty can’t wait to get my Fl4k to 53 and really shred with this sniper

Also I have heard much talk about it but I picked up a Wagon Wheel with +100% cryo on my Zane and it shreds through everything on Athena’s it was insane definitely a underrated gun imo
