Is it both Kid Ultra and the first of the new Operations campaign mission?

The only definite is the operation
But it seems highly likely that the content patch and gameplay patch(buffs/nerfs and other character/map/gear changes) would drop close to each other, if not at the same time.

  • dlc Story Op #1
  • new unlockable skins and taunts (free)
  • new PvP mode with 3 new maps
  • PvP maps modification
  • better matchmaking
  • new gear types
  • lots of characters tweaks
  • reactivating some fixed legendary gears
  • fixed a couple of bugs

Yes.

Face-Off-mode = PVP content

Story Operation DLCs = 3 player PVE content

I’m aware of all things you mentioned and that they are coming soon.
I was referring to when they specifically gave a release date for anything outside of Op1 and Faceoff
I found all of one Reddit post from 4 days that I missed that says they expect oct 13 to be good.
I expect they will be released at the same time as well I just try to stay away from equating expectation=confirmation
That often lead to disappointments

I’ve heard nothing of PVP map modifications, new gear types (there is new gear), reactivation of legendaries, or that better matchmaking is specifically coming on the 13th, although they change matchmaking constantly and we’re expecting new queues soon

Oh wow. That’s great! Simultaneously, you helped prove my point (which was based off of your point. Teamwork!) There’s still plans for one more queue change though I believe, to make the Incursion mode that’s competitively focused

They’ve stated a lot of those will be coming in October. I think it’s a lot of extrapolation given that Gearbox typically doesn’t seem to be doing multiple weeks of large updates, and rather include them all together (like the July balance changes landing at the same time as the map updates and their upgrades to hotfix capabilities). So it makes some sense to guess that if they’re coming in October it will be at the same time as the things confirmed for October 13th.

In fact that’s what I said was that it was highly likely and probably a 99% at this point. I just wanted to stay away from “confirmed” :slight_smile:
It ends up bring a lot of unnecessary hostility the devs way and they don’t need that.
