One of the things I dislike about the artifacts is, for me, I’m often more interested in the prefix than the suffix. But as far as I know, only the suffix part has dedicated drop locations, and I use the term dedicated loosely.

How broken/OP would they be if both tables were used to determine the prefix and suffix? One could get a Cut-purse Knife Drain for instance, or an Otto Idol Safeguard. Or even a Snowdrift Grave (though that might be going too far).

The point being, then each affix could be assigned a designated drop to allow for more farming opportunities. I would prefer a way to farm each “half” and then make my own artifact, but probably will never happen.

A simpler solution might be to just have dedicated prefix drops as well as dedicated suffix drops.

That might solve the issue with getting a specific prefix. But considering the current state of dedicated drops, I would not want to rely on it.

But I also want the option to mix and match within the same list. I don’t understand the logic behind the two separate lists. If anything, I’m more interested in the abilities on the prefix list, rather than the suffix list.
