You do realize we will visit Promethea in Borderlands 3 right? So I rather have them somewhere else. Preferable some planet we won’t visit.
Yeah, but we don’t know of any other hell planets in the Borderlands universe yet. I’ll update when our Lore fills in more

‘Yet’ probably being the key word there.
Uh… you do know there are fire-resistant shields, right?
Sure, but I’m obstinate and not going to farm a good one for 2 encounters. I’ll just skip 'em.

My worst experience is going through Borderlands The Pre-Sequel. On TVHM. Before the patch that made the game completable. I was so massively pissed off at that bug that broke the game. And at least as I remember it, they needed way too long to fix that. A game-breaking bug at launch? Bad enough. But not fixing the damn thing for weeks was infuriating. Still, I did not and still do not hold any grudges against 2K Australia. They made a good game with some big flaws, but a good game nonetheless.
I didn’t bother with a “good” one… I just got a green-rated off Zed’s vendors.
You’ve convinced me, I’ll give this a try, Kleznya is almost to Hidden Journals.

Resist shields, even the lower grades, usually run 25-30% reduction… That said, if you find an adaptive shield, they’re useful… but risky. They can have better resist percentages, but (as the name implies) they adapt to the last elemental damage taken and reset after a period of time. So I wouldn’t take an adaptive into Caustic Caverns.
Having to restart all my characters (I had 3 max level characters) in BL1 back on PS3 because when I originally played through the game I had it downloaded from a friend, so when I bought the game along with all of the DLC myself none of my previously created characters could save. I stopped being irritated about it at the beginning of PT2 though when the first desperado I killed outside the gate of Firestone dropped me a hellfire, and I got to literally set the world on fire. Having to grind Lil, Brick, and Mordy back up to level 69 did suck though.
That sucks… But, hey, you got to show the Destroyer Brick’s secret “Punch-You-In-The-Face-Til-You-Die” fighting style again!
(And, yeah, that’s how I killed the Destroyer. No guns, no grenades, just triggered action skill and started swinging until it died.)
Thia is officially my actual headcanon, now.
have had one bad experience recently was that i had found a good revolver in BL1 that had a high ammo regen. i was happy. the next day it was nowhere in my inventory as if it never saved it.
but few weeks later ive got 2 of the guns now. so id say thats a win
Clipping/Collision Errors. I get so tired of walking/running along and next thing you know you are stuck walking place. The best two examples I can give of this are: 1. “The Dust” after you blow up the Hodunks Billboard with the Tire. The scraps from the sign cause the player to get stuck trying to walk over it. 2. “Thousand Cuts” the ramp/bridge that leads to the raised turret that you use during the Flag Defense side mission. Trying to come back up that ramp there is a floor plate that apparently didn’t get caulked or setup in such away that the player can transition over it smoothly. Every so often you get stuck there. There lots of other spots like this in the game. Just poor level design that should have been caught during play testing.
Playing Borderlands 1 and 2 was pretty bad.
I’ve only had that problem while playing Zer0. Curse of the dainty robo-foot.
I’ve spent hours trying to get Vermivorous the Invincible to spawn. I’ve done every suggestion I’ve ever found. He’s never spawned for me. Ever. I’ve only got the Norfleet because a friend gave me my first one and then I used VIP points to get one at my OP level. I know Hyperius the Invincible can drop it as well, but I’ve only ever managed to beat him with friends so I can’t really solo farm him.
Oh oh! This doesn’t really count as worst, but it was hella lame.
My friend and I were farming Pt1 Craw forever because it was fun. We thought, hey, let’s go try your copy of PT2 craw! So we did. And we won. The fight was a little harder, but honestly, was more tedious than difficult…and the loot wound up being worse!
Seeing my framerate actually drop considerably when crapping a few hundred scorn orbs at once with maya on BL2 thanks to net code snafu allowing skill spam in the face of lag. But atleast my client didn’t crash like everyone else’s did. :3
The loot is the same; lol.
So yeah - you can definitely get worse in a PT2 than a PT1 run.
As such, going for 45 second PT1 runs, vs 3 minute PT2 runs, seems a no brainer.
On topic, my most recent bad experience was slogging through all of the Roborevolution DLC (PT2), killing MIRC, and then dealing with Clappy falling out on the wrong side of an untresspassable fence.
I spent a few minutes sliding off of MIRC’s corpse, popping off Orion bursts until I got him.
