What made you sad today?

I hate admitting this now but it’s clear I desperately need anti-depressants after all. It’s gotten especially bad recently with more frequent and longer episodes. It’s a losing battle. And yes, those thoughts are there and ever so strong.

Will continue to keep to myself for a while, who knows for how long.

I thought Luna was you (avatar mix up).

Offer still stands though.

The drive home apparently.

In a bad headspace right now. Too much time to think, I believe. It’s an… interesting experience being half aware of an episode. Alternating thoughts of “It’s not worth it, the best you’ll ever do is break even, why ■■■■■■■ try anymore.” And “you know you, it’ll pass in awhile find something to do or think about.”

Let’s try tv reruns and stale pizza. That brings everyone out of dunks, right?

Gearbox is taking their time on other games even though they should be making the final Brothers in Arms game that that promised us almost ten years ago.

You know the Quebec City studio is working on BiA, right?

I know. But it wasn’t an “about time” moment for us. They knew they should take up with their promise but we then understand that they wanted to take a break from the game since it was one of their hardest one to make.

Hearing the news does make me happy.

Reading between the lines, I think one of the things that needed to happen was reach a point where a clean break was possible with the publisher for the previous games. I remember Randy commenting that the publisher was pushing for a different direction, but that now the IP is in the clear so they can pursue their own vision for the game.

I’m forced to work strait on threw christmas all the way to the 27th. I am not sure how I am going to break the news to my family yet. Depression is hitting me hard right now.

Its a big holiday but it’s not about the date on the calendar. Your family just wants to spend time with you, even if that means Christmas happens on the 28th in your house or the night of the 25th instead of the morning depending on your situation.

That really sucks! Ames is right though - carve out an alternative time to celebrate with your family if you can (we’re doing our usual family Christmas on the 28th this year). Can understand you feeling gutted about it though. Make sure you get some time off and a rest at some point.

We did Christmas at moms on the 16th bc she works the entire christmas week.

Luckily my dad doesn’t have to work on Christmas.

So we can celebrate with the whole family.

A very sh*tty birthday, so far; but, hey, it’s only been three hours since i’ve gotten up! Things can get better!

Or much, much worse…

Blows party favor.
