I’ve been watching the Watchmen series (finally….had tossed in the towel early when it came out) and was very pleased to discover Trent Reznor did a bunch of the soundtrack. However this was a bit of a stunner at the end of an episode.
From Zambia and damn are they ever good.
I’m not normally a fan of strict transcriptions of performances - especially jazz ones. But I’ll make an exception for the brilliant performance notes on the score:
“fat cluster SMASH!”
Steam Powered Giraffe actually change the lead vocals around a bit.

The wife asked me to identify her ear worm which turned out to be Total Eclipse of the Heart. So we threw this up on the TV and had a little Bonnie Tyler karaoke
She took lead, me harmony/backup.
Oddly, right after we watched Bridesmaids in which they kept saying “turn around” — apparently coincidence.
