I totally agree. BM is not ideal for swapping because of the timer. BM is also annoying for save/quit farming bosses.

I would love a BM alternative that’s less restrictive but maybe not quite as strong. Mind Sweeper is our best option but it’s more restrictive because it isn’t timer based, it’s literally an awful com in some situations.

Mag size isn’t nearly as important though if you have forge. Just need it on Artifact for BM. I usually swap my com and artifact anyway. And maybe a wasted slot, but I have mag size on my BM com so I can avoid iron bank and spec click click easier for MS.

I also carry a small mag high damage version of a gun for MS and a medium mag lower damage for BM. Then a rad gun for shields, and a launcher.

I pretty much always get forge. I’ve been pretty much using this for M10 with a MS. I only use Iron Bank because I’m not using just one manufacturer.

That’s pretty much what I use but I spec StE and specialist. I sometimes use a fire weapon and it’s just convenient to not respec against a flesh bar. Specialist is just because it makes a nuke strip shields better.

Don’t forget or underestimate the buff to scrappy. Now people have a reason to spec it, and those five points are helping with recoil and precision in a way that is massive. And with MS the more you crit, the better!

I suppose that might help some people new to mind sweeper and really going for crits.

I’ve never had an issue just pulling down slightly for Borderlands recoil haha. I suspect a lot of people that keep killing themselves with TCP and MS stand totally still when they aim for crits. Good tip for them though, move around. Scrappy might help them a lot more.

Yeah Scrappy is just a no-brainer now. Free 30% wep damage and QOL that helps make moze feel better.

Haha I know… But I made an assumption by the amount of people struggling with self damage and Mind Sweeper / TCP. To me it seems like people are standing still to try and hit crits easier, while with scrappy it actually helps your aim to move around, avoid damage, and boosts your own damage.

I don’t know maybe my assumption is wrong.

Uh I dont think green monster is useless at all lol.especially with the monarch the thing shreds more than blood letter for sure especially if you get lucky and get one with points in click click.

But also you asked if people are using mind sweeper over Blast Master and green monster. I answered your question, yes for green monster and no for blast master. Go run M10 TTD with green monster and tell me it’s on the same level as blast master. Is it possible? Probably. Is it going to be as good? Unquestionably no.

Single point is all that’s possible in click click on green monster. As far as I know that hasn’t been fixed yet. 4 points in click click isn’t going to be better than Blast Master (especially with 3 points in click click???)

And again, bloodletter isn’t even close. You can use bloodletter and it’s fun and much more useful than it was before the RO and Redistribution buffs but the damage isn’t there with BL/deathless.

Oh bummer guess someone gave me a dumb modded green monster lol. If u were actually able to get more than 1 then it would be good I guess. But there literally is no other mod that does good for a assault rifle with monarch tbj

When I run blood letter u dont use deathless at all. I either run front loader shield with 75 shield health annoint or get some in thin red line. Deathless is not good imo since you have to replace pearl

Also tbh ttd is more of a survivability test over a damage test but that’s just me I guess. I def have done it on par with my blast master. The one thing I dont do unlike others is spam some rocket launcher spamming build. If your gunna super cheese then sure blast master can be better but honestly find green monster the go to for like any assault rifle build lol until a good splash assault rifle comes out that is

Unfortunately, like with almost every other weapon, the JD got hit hard for endgame viability. It’s usable, but outclassed by the new gear. Not in as bad a spot as stuff like the ogre at least.

I agree. But he asked about good splash assault rifles, not OP splash assault rifles. It’s still the best.

I’ve been using a Rad Old God with my 300v2 Radiation Kaoson and this setup literally makes mobbing a breeze, I consistently see microgrenades doing over 500,000,000 damage, and because of the radiation it’s just a cascade of explosions causing even more explosions, easily the best element I’ve used on the Kaoson for Moze.
