They should definitely focus more on fixing bugs, some of them have been known for quite a while but it doesn’t seem like they’re going to get fixed anytime soon.
Also in regards to balance changes, they should primarily focus on buffing and removing drawbacks of underperforming stuff (e.g. Moze can already throw grenades 24/7 so there is really no reason for the IB grenade anointment to have an ICD) as nothing of value comes from nerfing any of the stronger stuff.
New endgame content is of course always welcome but I’d rather see the difficulty coming from game mechanics instead of them just slapping some stat multipliers on the enemies.
I agree, Mayhem as it is right now its all just adding numbers what makes for always the same gameplay, bullet sponges is not what I consider mayhem or even fun.
Maybe Mayhem 2.0 is a great addition bringing new mechanics that are challenging.
Maybe it sticks with the old put 1000% health on the enemies and job is done.
Really don’t hope that is the case, if that would be the case i am pretty sure the devs don’t understand its player base.
Realistically - just let us adjust the particle effect details.
Fixes both performance and visual clusterfk at the same time.
I can run the game at a smooth 60 pretty much all the time except when i go into multiplayer and everyone and their mother starts spamming the most particle heavy grenades and guns in the game.
That only runs okay when i turn the graphics down by like 2 major steps.
Yesterday my PS4 shut down after killing Wotan with my bro and a friend, and later we have been in slaughter on Prometha and it shut down on the last wave cause our map was full of legendarys.
We didn’t even pick up one because we wanted to do it afterwards.
Well that left a big taste of meh on our tongues, so we stopped playing.
Performance - Is one of the smoothest games I play.
Endgame - I’m sure they are working on more DLCs and such as we speak.
Balance - Even the smallest of nerfs have a huge effect on a game, so only if its a mechanic that is broken. I’ve seen a couple of VHs that absolutely wreck things but that could just be the reward of having a well built character. Nerfing can also add end game content in a way. You nerf something and it gives players incentive to try and find a work around.
Matchmaking - Is practically useless at this point, had to go through a couple of sites till I finally found a discord server that worked and that might only work during peek hours.
Ya I’m on PC, honestly didn’t even take into account console users. I don’t know how much of this is actually GBS’s fault. It would be hard or next to impossible to fix the performance issues just by code, especially when the main throttle neck for console is it’s hardware.
Not really, if I don’t like the alternatives then the nerfs just made the game more hollow and I wouldn’t even bother to build around it. At worst I’d have to switch to a more “OP” VH to make things work which just limits player choice for no real reason. But if I do like the alternatives then I would have used them regardless. What you’re talking about is best left to self imposed challenges than something GB should force onto the player base.
