What skills boosted autobear?

You’re definitely on to something here.

That 184k is an Auto Bear Hammerdown Protocol shot. I’ve seen it hit up to 300k so far.

Here’s a better one 392k (bottom right of image) against a full Triple Bar Tink. This is with 160% splash buff.
@Prismatic It might actually be time to retest lol. I’m going to check some other weapons and see how they are doing.

-edit. Getting 50k’s body shots with Exploding Bullets from Auto Bear, and the SAME while piloting.

Was this from a spec with both SSB and RPM’s? Like some standard Blue and the half and half?

This is a Short Fuse / Forge build (my 0 ammo Moze). So every relevant Iron Bear skill in those 2 trees. Confirmed with Vanq’s also doing same damage in/out of bear.

What I’m thinking is DM may play a part for auto bear now??? That or idk they changed auto bear in general and boosted dmg not sure. All I know is it seems in longer fights rocketeer is very useful and puts out quite a bit of damage. And with the cooldown reduction and duration/fuel increase I’m getting my bear back way way ayyyy before it runs out and that’s making sure I dont have the cooldown glitch. Could rocketeer be good at the end of some fights like wotan if u dint wanna do cheese rocket launcher kills?

My build is not using Desperate Measures (0 in red tree) and I’ve confirmed that at least Exploding Bullets, Vanquisher and Hammerdown are all doing same in/out of Iron Bear.

The buffs in my build include - Stainless Steel Bear, Scorching RPMS, Specialist Bear, FITSD, COL. It’s a Short Fuse/Forge build. The gear has Blast Master + splash passive / Heavy passive and artifact has +aoe +grenade.

Oh hey maybe u can confirm another thing I’m suspicious on. The Railguns the splinter was doing more dot than base for me when chaining enemies was that always a thing?

Was this not known? The whole reason people use exploding bullets is because AutoBear actually does work with that hardpoint

It’s been months since I used Capacative Armature I can’t remember how it works exactly @sammantixbb might know.

No all autobear hardpoints were previously only being buffed by Specialist Bear. Check the graphic Prismatic posted above. The reason people used EB with Autobear is because it actually hits the target unlike Vanquisher and is a good way to proc MOD.

Hmm, I know the 160 splash annointment boosted AutoBear so that + Exploding Bullets for me was/is absolutely awesome for killing enemies. Didn’t realize that the other skills didn’t affect Auto Bear

So u have tested the railguns yet right or all of them? I can easily confirm fire one does less for auto

160% splash does boost autobear yes it always has. But we are talking about skills here. Previously AutoBear only did a fraction of the damage piloting Iron Bear did because the only skill the buffed it was Specialist Bear and now they are doing equal damage as of today.

I have not tested any of the Railguns yet just the weapons I mentioned.

Just confirmed Sabot Rounds also doing equal if not more damage from Auto Bear.

This is huge. Rocketeer is a great class mod now.

Please share your secrets with me because this is contrary to your reports. I’ll try something else, though Rampant says she tried v35’s and got nothing.

Further testing reveals it was because of AutoBear always hitting 2 arms at the same time. Even so, the damage difference is still not near as far off as it used to be. 400k Pilot vs 300k AB in the tests I just did with Hammerdown.

To follow up that, 160% splash anoint makes the damage almost perfectly even. (build that already has alot of splash modifiers)
