Deande…the only thing that gives me joy in Battleborn consistently

Good thing I am an artist. I need not play BB just to see her.
Deande still lingers on my bedroom ceiling.

We also share a name, it is not like I can escape her.(why would I want to)

What still brings me you about Battleborn? The Battleborn themselves, and the Lore behind them. The Story Ops and Story Mode, and Bots Battle
And of course the cool peeps I’ve met on this forum who share the love for Battleborn, those who I’ve played with and who I’ve get to play with

Meanwhile in Nemo’s corner of the galaxy…

Me and Deande have just finished disscusing the peculiar selectivnes by which EOS adds damage to ground zero, which turned into a debate on external weakens verses the culling, and then degraded into a strongly worded argument about the importance of having a proficiency in dank memes when applying for the the position of spymaster.

We plan to rek scrubs latter. Like we do every night. It’s pretty great, not gonna lie.

Hmmmm…

That one time I hit a beautiful cross-map Explosive Charge on Coldsnap from literally the other side of the map. Still have that clip somewhere…

The time I baited an Ambra perfectly into range of my sentry and had a three-man gank ready to finish it with…

Knocking people off the map with Lumberjack Dash…

Knocking people off the map through a wall with Lumberjack Blast…

Hitting bank shots with Ernest…

Hitting anything with Toby (can’t aim a railgun for sh*t)

Successfully holding a sentry with one point of health…

Yeah. That’s about all I can think of for now. Fun stuff.

Here’s what brings me joy about Battleborn, it’s :

The replayability (so many things to achieve) and diversity (all the characters to play) in a fastpaced action FPS with beautiful visuals with a solo and coop campaign mode (with 13 missions)

Honestly I can still find joy in playing about half the cast of not more on some level. I have favorites but sometimes I just like to pick up an old toon I haven’t used in awhile.

Oh and killing and taunting buldor. That’s just great… I would actually pay money to see a buldor murder montage.

Making my K/D go higher and higher with Attikus. I’m at about 900 to 600, but there’s room for improvement.

What brings me joy about Battleborn? Pvping with my last main toon, Rath. Usually obtaining a whole lot more kills than assist with this character. From having over 5k more assist over kills , now I’m just 231 difference.

Honestly, I’m so stupidly dedicated and still in love with this game overall, it’s a bit ridiculous. Buuuuut here’s a few off the top of my head. :3

~ Phoebe. Just, Phoebe. :heart: Especially her Point Gauche (may be remembering the name wrong, the “loser” one) taunt. I purposely went into the game blind on release, took one look through her profile in the Command screen, and dedicated myself to unlocking her. She’s been my favorite ever since.
~ Deande trying to be silly and her awkward laugh.
~ Oscar Mike in the first op.
~ Killing Oscar Mikes in PVP.
~ Playing The Renegade as Phoebe.
~ How much Beatrix looks like the Other Mother from Coraline.
~ The amazing intro and ending cutscenes.
~ When I actually manage to kill more than I die in PVP, as rare as that is. :sweat_smile:
