What the devil is Sal saying?

At times I hear Salvador saying something like " ¡No lo puede a menudo!" My Spanish isn’t terrific, but I think that means “He can’t [do] it often!”, which is weird. Am I hearing it wrong?

I’ve always thought that he says something like “Sólo puedo a menudo!”, which (according to google translate) means “I can only often!”. I don’t think that what I think I hear is entirely correct, but I think that it makes more sense. :thinking: I don’t know!
