Haven’t solo killed Vermi, Dex, Gee, Dragons.
Haven’t played Gaige or Sal, but that may be next after getting Axton up to OP8.
Haven’t tried to climb the towers in Thousand Cuts.
I really want to do EVERYTHING by the time BL3 comes out (but secretly really want BL3 to come out ASAP! )

haven’t found perfect aquamarine sniders fire and coorosive versions yet. Other stuff? Some trivial things such as having never bothered to fight number of raid bosses. Also as far as I know Verm isn’t a real.

I’ve never played this game with pants.

Derch will be pleased.

OK, now I gotta give this a try…that must have been fun to watch.
You mean by walking up the arm of the building as that’s what i do to get it. re the Arid Nexus Boneyard
I come walking down the pipeline past Hunter Hellquist. When you say ‘arm of the building’, are you coming from the roof on your left?
Yes, you can get to it without grenade jumps but only when the train is in the station (ie before you dump out the coal!)
It vexes me that I can’t get there without grenade jumping (only because it’s so far the only one I’ve found, which makes me think it should be possible somehow).

I’ve tried every approach I can find, including grenades (my people don’t use launchers, so that’s kinda out), to get to that chest after the train has left…if there’s a way to do it without rockets/grenades I’d love to hear about it.

And just in case - you are aware that there’s a red chest at the end of the frozen river (not the one back where the snowmen fight the yeti, this is on the opposite end) and down the cliff-face a bit?

This is also possible but i find clearing the area of enemies first and then walking up the sloped “arm” of the building that leads to the pipe works well, plus i just like killing stuff and they are there to oblige. When you reach this arm walk up it

Then follow the crosshair of the gun to the left

Same again to where the crosshair is pointed

Then looking just to your right for this point, again the croshair, hardest bit maybe

Then just jump up from there and it’s up on the left of you

And then you get some blues =(

Sorry about the slide show but can’t do vids, but this is how it can be done without grenades, rocketjumps, Logans Gun. The easiest way is grenade jump at the first bit up the arm but a low level Logans Gun is even easier, but where’s the fun in that :stuck_out_tongue:

Well heck… that’s much easier than the long and obscure jumping I have to do on the other end of the pipeline to get there.

So you normally fight your way all around the Arena ring to get the key to the Forge? Ouch! That’s the only place I do grenade-jumping; fortunately even Krieg can make it over.

I had no idea that Arid Nexus red chest existed, so thanks everyone for explaining that one!
Ouch!
I do… where are you making these jumps?

When you enter the Arena, turn left instead of right. There’s a partial wall between you and the container with the Forge key. With Krieg, grenade jumping only works near the inner edge of the ring, but I think Maya could get over anywhere along the wall. The grenade bounces you up to the top of some beams halfway up the wall, then you can do a bit of jumping and crouching to get the rest of the way through. That way getting the key is extremely fast and you can move on to a new map rather than redoing a map you just did two quests earlier.

You all say this like it takes a long time to just go the normal way…

Well yes, because it’s the best way to get all that XP, clear the challenges, and gain access to the red chests. I mean, you can grenade jump to get the key, then come back later for the chests without all the spawns, but that’s just boring.

No no, I didn’t mean that. It was old and buried. I was just trying to point out that if you want to see more replies to this question you could check that topic out.

Oh, I never knew there was a chest there.

There’s a chest in Hunter’s grotto only accessible from the Ardorton entry on the ruined highway in front of you that definitely can’t be accessed without some explosive boosts.

Why oh why have I never even thought about grenade jumps here…

Another few things i’ve never done.

 • Fought (or even seen) Dexiduous

 • Fought Voracidous apart from once in NVHM for the achievement back on 360 (and once helping someone else kill him in TVHM but I was OP8 by then)

 • Spawned OOO

 • Done that thing in Hallowed Hollow that spawns the dude (I forget his name but the secret boss)

 • Played co-op for a full 1-72/OP8 (occasional co-op but never for long, usually helping or being helped)

 • Never got a Cobra or Bekah to drop

 • Killed all the Assassins in the way the optional quests request (done three of them, but never killed Oney with a Sniper)

I’d be down to do this sometime if you’re interested, maybe combine it with a “only use what we loot” or manufacturer build dynamic? Shoot me a PM if you want to give it a shot.

I’ve never played as a gunzerker and not really planning to do so.

Also I haven’t been able to kill op8 Vorac legit way - yet!

Have never killed Dexi. Actually i spawned him only once, when i was farming OOO.

I think i still haven’t finished all the sidequest. I usually spend my time trying out new builds/mobbing/raids or messing around with glitches.

I always considered Sal to be beneath me but after investing the last 6(?) weeks into him, I can safely say he’s now vying for top spot.

You can play him in many other ways than Grog/Harold and - as many have recently posted - he can be very challenging.

It’s this attitude that i’m glad I avoided, by accident. I’d have thought the same but for the fact he was my first character in BL2  although I remember only very little of the whole experience

This isn’t meant with any disrespect, because we’re all fine with the way we do things, but I don’t think I could buy a Borderlands game and not experience all of the available characters.

Exactly. And I’m almost embarrassed that I used to feel that way.

It took a long time for me to warm up to the idea of Krieg too - but now it blows me away that some haven’t or refuse to.
