I love that game so much. I get out, meet people, get some fresh air, explore, and its damn good for anxiety and depression spells. Feeling down… I go out and grab Pokemon xD
Looks like your can pick your team now. Or be a rebel and stay gray (dont think you can do raids if you dont join a team)

No, they are still in the game.
But… there’s no reason to use them. It’s a lot like Dead Space 3’s use… they are there, if you just want to buy top end gear right away instead of earning it.
And, despite what so many said… it’s really not “shoved down your throat”. There’s a “Market” option in the menu, and that’s it. At no point has the game suggested, urged or tried to push me into using them.
And, I’ve already found several Legendary items, swords and armors just naturally playing the game.

Reason why I canceled my pre-order was someone had said that you needed them to beat end game. Killed any hopes of me getting it but now it’s going back on the wishlist. Thanks for clearing that up Damien.
