@themaximumridex: Who’s your reply to? Also, by ‘individual loot’, you mean enemy-specific loot pools?

Oh. In that case, I mentioned somewhere about reward RTIs being…instanced, I believe is the term? In any case, rather than it being in a loot able container like the red chest in Moxxi’s bar on Concordia, it appears in everyone’s inventory, varying within reason. One of the best examples of this is the Sandhawk. For guaranteed boss drops, I think I may have suggested the same thing to make it fair rather than everyone fighting over the lone SoT mod that drops, for example.

I hear a few people saying “get rid of slag weapons” all together, but if you think about what slag comes from, it may not be such a good idea. I’m bias towards slag, I love the stuff… I like getting bosses wet with the purple gooboly-gob and then setting them on fire for a quicker death . Eridium is part of the lore of Borderlands and it Must Stay!

Hopefully they change the mechanic of slag for it to stay. Whether it’s the status effect or slag weapons becoming rarer/harder to get, I don’t mind. Slag in BL2 feels cheap and a lot of people didn’t (and some still don’t) like it when UVHM came out to force it.

What about selectively (de)activating your BAR, rather than (de)activating them all at one? It’s a bit annoying that mine is all at just above 100%, and enough of a problem for the game to handle that I have to jump into co-op naked. Seriously, I could do with my Damages and Fire Rate, but not Recoil Reduction, and my EE% would be nice.
Replying me? Pretty sure I didn’t talk about BAR on the post you’re trying to reply to.
Cool story bro. That’s why you don’t put any tokens for Recoil Reduction and other (potentially) harmful stat.
P.S. I have nothing against BAR if it’s planned for the next Borderlands but I surely hope for a better thing.

@diator1730 Not this time, pal. I’m discussing BAR as a standalone, not a reply. Also, I see no harm in Recoil Reduction.
Then don’t reply to me? Hehe you probably pressed the reply button on my post instead of replying to the original post, which is why I get a personal notification about your post.
Also recoil reduction is seen as bad for Hyperion weapons due to how they work, and for some people who like to min-maxing, that stat is (as I said, potentially) harmful.
One thing I REALLY want to see is both Tiny Tina and Pickles (from the Pre-Sequel), maybe as playable characters. They both have hilarious personalities and would likely go well together, maybe doing a Bunkers and Badasses thing?

Yes I have lost so much money cause of this especially in DLC. I am done with the main game, playing Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep but its hard especially if you have a sniper build and playing alone
Hey guys i have a YouTube channel, primarily focused on Fallout and Borderlands. It may be small but I work hard at it and i recently started a series called Borderlands 3: What We Want and it will be a weekly series that I will use my comments and this Thread as inspiration for. So please check it out and let me know what you think about it. You can watch the first video here

Considering that they were optional there’s no reason to get rid of them. I personally was disappointed that there were no OP levels in TPS, I played them for the increased challenge and BL2 was a lot more challenging than TPS even without OP levels.
But not everybody played at OP8 and you didn’t have to, that’s what was so great about BL2, there was a level cap but you could then choose to go even further if you wanted to challenge yourself and play the game on a harder difficulty, it was like an optional upgrade from UVHM.

Ok so here’s my opinion about what you want:
I kinda agree on the first part (all previous VHs) but I’m quite curious about how Gearbox will do it. Hopefully they will do it right, and by right I mean better than 1/2/TPS. As for the three missing Sirens I’m pretty sure it’s not mandatory. Not every Siren have to face combat in their life, some of them might be living in peace far away from gun fire and war.
Like the first point, if they can do it right, it’ll be good. Just don’t make it like if they’re trying too hard to make them like you want.
This is going to be a balancing challenge for the devs. As we know the previous three games of Borderlands have wonky balance between player character’s health (very small) and damage output (very high). I hope they learn quite some things from Battleborn.
If you don’t care about an optional challenge, then how about others who do? Like me. Ignorance is not much of a reason for getting rid of a feature. Personally I want it back, if not with a bit of tweaking.

IMO and with all due respect, some things I think must be considered are:
come on man, stop replying to my post and reply to original post instead, especially if your post have nothing to do with my post. I don’t like unnecessary notification, and I can already browse new posts on threads I follow by clicking “Unread”.

Sorry, thought I did. My bad. However, I should note that it won’t help if you have yourself Watching this thread instead of merely tracking it – having it so set will trigger a notification ANYTIME someone posts in it, whether it’s a direct response (for whatever reason) to you or not; this isn’t saying that you don’t know this, but out of curiosity, what do you have yours set to?
Anyway, my post still stands…on its own.
