What ticks me off is that i have to get him to come to the back of the map before I even think about killing him, or else i’ll have to go lava diving for 20 minutes to make sure i didnt miss anything.
Once Iwa dropped a thingy in the lava and i almost missed it. Paranoid ever since.
Is the Rolling Thunder really common or something? The torks keep on dumping it.
I agree. So far I’ve only found a Zin, but I can’t remember how many, if any at all, I found in BL2.
My luck for loot sucks sometimes. I find more class, Grenade, and Shield mods than I find weapons. This applies to both BL2 and BL:TPS.
Now, I did find a Lobbed Storm Front Grenade mod, so I guess that’s a pretty good find. I’m keeping an eye out for a Fire Bee and a Pandemic, but haven’t seen either one of those.
That’s a big fat NOPE. From my experience, the Sentinel is not good for farming. And I do mean the normal one, not the invincible.
I’ve gotten an Ol’Painful from Ojiwara and a Hail from Iwa. I’ve also come across a quasar dropped by a random enemy (can’t remember which one), and a longnail and a skullmasher from Scavs. So my luck’s been fairly good. I used to farm tubbies all the time in BL 2, so I’ve come across a lot of legendaries and a few pearls that way.
Not sure if my luck has been better in my recent jump to BL1 but the way legendaries last longer has sure made it feel like it.
I found a level 20 hell fire that carried me through parts of my latest playthrough. I’ve had a few others have similar impacts.
BL 1 relied more on character level than gear. A high leveled character could pretty much walk around with whites and greens without many problems.
The RNG is good to me when it comes to random useless legendary items in vendors and as boss drops. I’ve had a total of 2 legendaries from chests in over 400h.
It’s much harder to find specialized purple and blue gear for me.
Literal crap. I have never gotten a legendary weapon, mod, or anything else in borderlands 2 or tps. In the first borderlands I got legendary weapons all the time.
I just farmed Iwajira last night from lvl 58 to lvl 59 … maybe 20 kills.
Not a lot, I know, but still not a single legendary.
At least that I could find. I wonder how many fly outta the map. I saw a good number of purple (maybe blue … hard to really tell) flying through the walls.
Really didn’t get much worth keeping except a couple of purple snipers outta that whole farm.
Then having to go offline to grind up the other purples … which gave me nothing useable … except oranges to grind later.
Eh, I did get to 59. Going to see if he’ll get me up to 60 tonight.
found a 57 Cat’o’nine tails last night in the chest when you first get to jack’s office, found something in the chests at X-23, and i want to say one other somewhere back round release. just a few in chests in BL2 & BL1
Vendors can be very generous on occasion and most of my gear comes from there or the grinder and some from trading.
I farmed very specific bosses for gear in BL2
Every other Badass round I get 1 or 2 nukems. Can’t be that bad.
Finished grinding Iwajira to lvl 60. What 20 kills to get from 59 to 60.
Counting that and going from 58 to 59, around 40 kills.
Not one single legendary.
What’s more … I just kept the useable purples on me, never went and put stuff in the locker, and could still pick up every weapon dropped … so not even that many useable purples dropped.
Farmed Iwajira for the first time…got a Flakker.
Grinded it with an extra ZX-1 and a purple rifle, got a Major Tom.
Excuse me for contradicting, but the almost-sure ZX-1 drop is from Zarpedon, not the Sentinel. I’ve gotten a ZX-1 from Zarpedon every time but one so far, and I’m thinking the one I missed must have fallen through a crack in the floor, or something like that.
Which play-through? Never got anything rarer than a blue item from Zarp-a-darp (unless it glitched through the floor or flew over the edge.)
Edit: got a couple of purples from the armoury on the way to the laser, but that’s it. 
i have had an invader drop from the sentinel, raid boss i believe. only thing ive ever gotten from that bastard

Hmm, really? I could of sworn that I was excited when I killed the sentinel because he dropped a level 50 ZX-1
