As the title suggests. What’s your most hated (very hard) mayhem modifier
For me it’s post mortem because the DEATH skulls have too much health & they spawn too frequently, a “chance” shouldn’t translate to almost every badass or stronger enemy i kill

Post Mortem is my favorite VH modifier, least favorite would likely be Buddy System.

Hmm…there’s a lot to hate…

Not the Face…
It’s just a straight up nerf to everyone (except melee Amara).

Rouge Lite…
A Moze main’s worst nightmare…and enemies can sometimes out-DPS the healing you get from health drops, especially on Fl4k, who can’t shoot to heal.

Holy Crit…
Just like NTF, it’s a nerf to non-crit builds and weapons (launchers, melee, FacePuncher, most Torgue weapons, Action Skill dmg, DOTs I think, etc)

Forgot about Rogue Lite, whose idea was that one?!

As elemental Amara - Ticked Off.

As anyone - Buddy System because these a-holes can get stuck in the walls, floors, ceilings and any other part of the map, rendering the enemy immortal.

Back in M1.0, I am running the cartel. As the entrance gates open i encounter a hound with a buddy. Except the buddy is stuck in the wall and refuses to come out. Naturally, I ignore the hound and proceed further, except that mofo hounds me all the way to the 2nd floor of the mansion while his buddy is still stuck in the wall at the entrance. With this kind of bug, you might as well have a modifier to give enemies immortality phase. At least this way, it could be called a feature.

Not the Face and Holy Crit. They’re polar opposites, but both effectively just translate to your dealing less damage.

Not a fan of Holy Crit but can manage with that one. I usually run Moze with Mindsweeper so Not in the Face is a straight build killer. Only other modifier I try to avoid at all costs is Charred Mode. Get both of those together and might as well just quit and go play some other game.

What’s my most hated (very hard) mayhem modifier? Uh, any and all that I am forced to choose from just to play a harder level of the game, and especially those that are randomized instead of simply picked from a menu? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Oh, and I suppose the death head thingy is my least favorite…

Edit: My preferred loadout is Mayhem 10 with the following modifiers:

  • Galaxy Brain
  • Healy Avenger
  • Drone Ranger
  • Holy Crit

I just laugh so hard with the Galaxy Brains and they make up for the Holy Crits since it is easy to make head shots. Healy Avenger and Drones are the least PITA and I can easily deal with them. In fact, Drone Ranger gives me things to kill when I am in FFYL, so bonus there, plus they let you know where the enemies are hiding…

it would be awesome if mayhem mode have the same OP level progression, with start with easy modifier in M1, then M10 will get the hardest modifiers. once we beat it we can go to M11 free of modifiers or we can toggle on or off which modifiers we like.

Same! hate them so much.

Who would ever picked that? Or create it and think anybody would pick it?

You would have to be drunk or high to pick Not The Face

Not The Face is a pretty solid choice if you were using a Face Puncher build on Amara.

Yeah… just the Face Puncher I guess… hate that thing…

Still, not much of a modifier if it’s just used as a blank slot.

Doesnt facepuncher have crit probability?

All of them… But not the face the most

Only when bonus elements are activated…but the main dmg is still nerfed.

Sorry Guys I just play mayhem 11 and skip all these stuff

the combination or mixs generally are fixed, so whatever u select one modifier, actually, u can expect the rest of mixs of the others modifier as the combination basically is fixed, not random.
