It is Phoebe. Cool looking, interesting to play and easy to understand (well, almost). I just started the game as her and then āWhat, is she melee?ā question appeares (yep, didnāt watch or read anything about heroes). And no regrets about that actually 
Well, I started the thread in January, nice to see people still replying!
Having had some time during this testing phase, Iām really liking CALDARIUS, MARQUIS, and THORN.
Marquis has some nice abilities, but heās so good at taking out distant enemies and snipers, really liking him. Caldarius is a good in your face class, some good moves and fun to play. I liked Thorn and was my first play, but Marquis has become my favourite so far.
Shame the servers are buggeredā¦hopefully theyāll get em back up soon.
Try Rath: incredibly sustained , tanky enough to soak some dmg and very mobile.
By the end of the ctt, I did actually find Thorn was my favouriteā¦bizarrely. I was out killing most of my team by 40-50% in some games. I loved the game play with her. I donāt really like melee classes in FPS style games, only in RPG/MMO style like Dragon Age and ESO. When the game does come out, Thorn is gonna be my main girl for sure 
Phoebe was the only one I tried and she was awesome
I liked to play as the fastest characters like montana, isic, and boldur
How did you survive this inhuman speed without a heart attack? ^^
To contribute to the thread: Now Iām even more determined to play Orendi asap.
My guy is still Montana.
Definitely Orendi, everything i like in a character thus far.

Caldarius and Benedict are definitely my top 2.
I guess Iām the only one excited for boldur since I love beat em up characters. Plus Krieg was my fave in BL2

I enjoyed playing as Rath. Strong & fast.
I also like Benedict, but after playing rath he kinda felt slow.
He still felt pretty nimble to me, nice gliding speed, Liftoff has some nice forward momentum and his sprint speed is really high. After playing Caldarius and Benedict though Oscar Mike felt really slow by comparison. 
Wait can Caldarius shoot while in super/ultimate?

Iām at a crossroads between Montana and Attikus. both of them speak to me in a different way. Attikus with the full on rampage and Montana soaking all the damage in the world whilst dishing some back

While only like 10 or so characters will be unlocked right away, others will unlock over time of playing, so most likely one of those 10 initial characters lol.
Iām hoping Caldarius will be initially available though Iām cool with having to unlock him
Not really, the games not out yet so this thread still has relevance! And now we have access to more info from all the publicity, so should give people more insight to whom they may start with.
Iām still gonna main Thorn. Then choose a more front line class after.
