Which game has the best intro song?

I feel like 2K Australia went with an Australian Band and that may have limited their options a bit. The most well known bands from Australia for most people are Men At Work, INXS, Silverchair, Jet, the aforementioned Vines, Midnight Oil, of course AC DC. Licensing may have priced some of those artists out, if any had a song that fit the vibe.

If they were going to always have a raucous rock song, I would have gone AC DC all the way. The oddball thing about that intro is, the decided to set i on Pandora and give it that same Mad Max vibe, but that’s the only time that vibe is even a part of the game really. And when you’re in the game it’s all this Tron-esque space synth atmospheric music, so maybe going with some sort of heavy Electro Synth Rock madness would have been a better bridge between the past and then-present?

After doing a little googling, it looks like there was an Australian band that might have been perfect… Learn about them here

The perfect song for a game about Jack losing his mind was: The Avalanches - Frontier Psychiatrist (Official Video) - YouTube

Plus Avalanche is an Aurelia skill…
One of the quotes is “The man with the golden eyeball” even.

BL1’s theme is my fave, but BL2 is my fave intro overall. BL1 was just the characters using their abilities in a bus to look cool, but BL2’s had more story to tell. It’s also the most memorable as a result.

BL1 then BL2, the others are too headbanger for me. But I’m old.
