Which platform should i get battleborn on?

Hi,
the topic says it all. I’m asking this because i’m wondering where ppl think the community will sit down. Where will there be tournements if there will be any? on the PC, PS4 or Xbox One?

If you take call of duty for example. They have there game released on all the platforms but, there playerbase are almost ONLY console gamers. The PC community is basicly dead compeared. You can’t even play ranked on the PC because the playerbase is so low u get 1 houre que.

I don’t want this to happen for battleborn. So, where do YOU think you’re going to play battleborn? Anyone know if they are signing a deal with eather: steam, sony or microsoft? That makes em focus one platform more then the other?

Because if they are only haveing tournements on 1 spesific platform i think that’s where the competative community is going to set up tent! and, i realy don’t wanna buy this game on a “dead” platform. I love competative play and i realy wanna play where the competative comunity and tournements are.

Ps4, simply more of them (consoles) out there, and our CTT community is tighter knit.

Go PC if u want tighter controls but more bot problems.

Go X1 if u like moutain dew (I kid).

It’s rare for Gbx to prioritise any platform over another in terms of content (apart from the PS4 beta exclusive character) in their games so I don’t see there being much difference in terms of support for tournaments and suchlike. That’s my guess, anyways. It would be interesting to see if there would be any trend towards a certain platform during the open beta.

not sure if it’s possable to have big tournements for a game on 3 diffrent platforms. The only work around i can see on this is if they have small tournements on all the platforms or they let the community host online tournements for them for all the platforms and then they have 1 semi big on each platform once a year.
that is, if this game whould get into e-spots though. which i realy hope! because the CTT was SO much fun. it’s the perfect game for my taste, and exactly what i’m looking for at the moment.

Yes go PC if you prefer Mouse+Keyboard and (possible) higher resolution.
Yes Sony (PS4) has sold more consoles than Microsoft (Xbox), but Xbox One is still the best selling xbox Microsoft has ever had in this state of the console life cycle. But seen during the “Playstation Experience” Sony is getting behind Battleborn. So there probably is some more marketing going on there, possible resulting in a larger install base.

I’m not sure if there was a Poll that shows where this community will be playing.

I think, in general, the ps4 community is more outspoken on forums online than the Xb1 community is. So there is an appearance that the communities are larger or more active. This in junction with the community tools on the PS4 make it hard to guage which community is “larger”.

Either way, i dont see the competitive scene going huge(lack of spectator tools, and stiff competition Overwatch, Paragon, For Glory, etc).

Still, i expect the ps4 community to outlast the PC and XB1 communities.

Im biased though…

From what I understand it seems the PS4 route is the way to go; not just saying that 'cause that’s the system I play on. Earlier beta access and a free character for accessing said beta and linking your SHiFT account sound like good reasons, but in the end it’s the decision of the OP. It’d be cool to have more friends to play co-op with though

I’m going to guess ps4 still comes out on top. I don’t see the pc community lasting and everyone who actually has said which platform mentioned ps4… hands 2¢
