@gearbox can you guys make it so when you hold the trigger down heāll keep shooting? I think a lot of people canāt use him Cuz you have to keep pressing the trigger to burst fire like the BR on halo but it doesnāt feel the same as the BR, if that makes sense

I guess Iāll give an explanation. The Xbox one controller has defect in the triggers. Theyou stick and squeek really bad after a while. Iāve already gone through 2 controllers since Aug 15. Iām pretty sure the dmr and br from halo 5 didnāt helpā¦
Dear god, that doesnāt sound good. Personally, Iāve always enjoyed burst fire and pulling the trigger like mad, but with xbox controllers apparently that bad I can totally understand your concern.

Anyway, so something like the āfull autoā upgrade on Destinyās pulse rifles? Where it fires a burst, pauses, fires another burst, pauses again, ect.
Because as I hinted at, changing his primary weapon to true full auto would make his ultimate redundant and require half his kit to be changes.
This what I was saying. Burst fire but just hold the trigger. I didnāt say full auto fire like his ult

Interesting. Played a lot of shooters and still have same Xbox controlles for two years and mines does not have that problem. Maybe you are wearing your controllers out too fast or just have a bad batch of controllers.

Thats what Iām thinking but Iām on my third controller now and itās starting to do it againā¦Thereās a lot of other people reporting the same problem with temporary fixes but itās beyond annoying
Iād like an option for this a lot, as a quality-of-life thing, and I play on PC.
In PvP itās not so bad, due to the higher-speed, higher-mobility environment often requiring adjustment between shots anyway. But trying to shoot your way through a story missions as WF can feel real tedious, especially on Advanced. Heās got the same raw DPS as Oscar Mike but has to click 9 additional times per magazine to achieve it, and being regularly put up against almost-immobile enemies that take a couple of mags to drop (let alone bosses) makes that get real old after 30 minutes. 
No, seriously, Whiskey Foxtrot is unplayable for long periods of time unless you enjoy getting tendinitis. There is a slight pause between his shots so itās not like his Ultimate where he can simply unload in a single stream of bullets. I canāt play him as is, so I hope this changes (keep the shot delay between firing though or youāll end up with middle scroll button clip unloading).

I could not play him for that very reason. After a few sessions, my trigger finger was in pain because of that burst fire. Keep the burst, but not the need to pull the trigger every time, it would not hurt anything as far as I can tell.
If u look at gears of War carbine itās burst fire but you just have to hold the trigger down. No constantly tapping the trigger. Iām not trying to be lazy here, itās just Iām worried about more wear and tear on my controller
I still have my day one launch xbox controller and both my triggers are fineā¦ My A button the other hand thatās a different story; Evolve jetpacks are to blame

I donāt see why it couldnāt be implemented though, I mean, if someone on the other team would like to hold the trigger down instead of resetting and adjusting their aim, then Iām all for reducing their accuracy.
